Abstract

Islamic education is education that is based on the teachings of Islam itself. The Qur'an and Sunnah are the main guidelines in implementing its operations. In the current era, Islamic education continues to strive to improve its quality, so that every effort is made. One of these efforts is, for example, reviewing with a sharp analysis how Islamic education that the Prophet Muhammad SAW implemented at the beginning Islamic history itself. It is hoped that this study of the early history of Islam can refresh our memories about the figure of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. so that it can be successful in developing human beings who have previously experienced crises in various aspects of life. Based on the studies that have been discussed, it turns out that the Prophet Muhammad was able to raise their dignity and even become a factory of knowledge and culture for approximately six centuries.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Islam di Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTAI), especially at IAI Agus Salim Metro Lampung, faces significant challenges and obstacles in integrating itself with the Society 5.0 era. In the midst of this social revolution, technological constraints, limited internet access, and the lack of technological skills among teachers are the primary issues. Society 5.0 demands large-scale integration of information technology, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence, to enhance human life. These constraints include the lack of teacher competency in technology, limitations in technological facilities and infrastructure, and the need for the development of human resources potential (HRP) for both students and lecturers. The research method employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study at IAI Agus Salim Metro Lampung. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentary research over 30 days. The results indicate that the main challenges involve the limited technological capabilities of teachers, technological infrastructure limitations, and the need for human resource potential development. Obstacles include the limited use of technology media and inadequate teaching methods. Proposed solutions include curriculum updates, technology training for teachers, and the enhancement of technological facilities. A profound understanding of these issues is key to ensuring the relevance and effectiveness of Islamic religious education in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

The education concept initiated by K.H Ahmad Dahlan has given birth to great ideas and is a reference in managing education in Indonesia. The aim of this research is the concept of K.H Ahmad Dahlan's educational thought, namely: (1) Pragmatic; (2) Update; (3) Independence; (4) Balance; (5) Integration; (6) Openness; (7) Leadership; (8) Concern; (9) Certainty; (10) Justice. This research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan using qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the research show that the learning methods used at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan are in accordance with the concept of progressive education initiated by K.H Ahmad Dahlan. In brief, this article discusses the concept of progressive education initiated by K.H Ahmad Dahlan and its relevance to education management in Indonesia. The research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan using qualitative descriptive methods, and the results showed that the learning methods used at the school were in line with the concept of progressive education.

Abstract

Islamic religious teachings with the principles of Sufism or Islamic mysticism. This approach aims to deepen students' understanding of Islamic teachings through spiritual experiences and self-introspection. In this article, the author explores the main aspects of the Sufism approach, including the concepts of tazkiyat al-nafs (cleansing the soul), muhasabah (self-introspection), and tawakkul (complete trust in Allah). The author also discusses how the application of the Sufism approach can increase students' empowerment in facing moral and social challenges, as well as help them to develop leadership based on Islamic values. In the context of Islamic religious education, the Sufism approach provides a solid foundation for creating a deep and meaningful learning environment, which not only helps students understand religious texts, but also guides them towards spiritual growth and wisdom in everyday life. This research uses qualitative literature study methods. This article concludes that the application of the Sufism approach in various Islamic educational institutions has shown a positive impact on student character formation and academic development. Thus, the Sufism approach in Islamic Religious Education is considered an effective and holistic solution to improve the quality of Islamic religious education and form a young generation with noble and responsible morals.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability to read the Qur’an in class X SMA Negeri 1 Koto Salak. This study aims to determine how much influence “Islamic Spritual Extracurricullar Activities (Rohis) have on the ability to read the Al-Qur’an of Class X Student of SMA Negeri 1 Koto Salak, Dharmasraya Regency”. This research is a correlational study using quantitative data trends. The population in this study amounted to 132 students consisting of five classes. The sample used in the study amounted to 40 students, with the sampling technique this is probability sampling. The data analysis technique used in the normality test, linearity test and hypotehesis testing. The results showed that the calculation of the T-Test with a significance level of 5%, obtained a t (count) value of 5.059 > t-table 2.026, then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it can be concluded that Spritual Activity (X) has a positive and significant effect on Al-Qur’an Reading Ability Student Qur’an (Y). The contribution of spritual extracurricular activities to the ability to read the Qur’an was 40,2 %, while the remaining 59,8 % was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. So the correlation coefficient is at a moderate level, because it is in the coefficient interval between 0.400-0,599.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality at MAN 2 Agam which shows that students' memorization is not maximal in achieving it according to the target given, there are also students who like to disturb their friends in the process of reciting the Qur'an, less effective place and time for extracurricular tahfizh implementation Qur'an, the lack of strict rules related to the tahfiz program at MAN 2 Agam, and the teacher's lack of optimality in carrying out extracurricular tahfizh Qur'an. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The key informants in this study were tahfizh mentor teachers at MAN 2 Agam. Supporting informants in this study were students and school principals. Based on the findings of the research conducted by the researchers, it shows that the implementation of tahfidz Quran extracurricular activities at MAN 2 Agam is carried out in 3 activities, namely initial, core and closing activities. Initial activities include greeting, reading prayers, taking student absences. provide motivation, convey learning objectives and steps of the learning process. The core activities include providing tahfizh material according to the abilities of the students and the time allotted. Closing activities include conveying learning conclusions to students, and conducting evaluations. The supporting factors are the application and policies of the principal towards the Tahfiz Qur'an extracurricular, the facilities and infrastructure and the inhibiting factors namely time constraints, the lack of seriousness of students in participating in the extracurricular tahfiz Qur'an.

Abstract

Learning tahsinul quran has become very important in the current era, especially in public and private schools that teach Al-Quran learning, and in the city of Medan there are several schools that implement this learning. This research aims to find out the learning strategies and methods used at Madrasah Aliyah Annur Prima Medan. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with data collection techniques, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that tahsinul Koran learning at Madrasah Aliyah Annur Prima uses strategies and methods that are varied and not monotonous, and from the results of this research it can be concluded that Madrasah Aliyah Annur Prima Medan really maximizes the human resources and learning resources available at the school.

Abstract

If someone has intrinsic motivation within themselves, then they will consciously carry out an activity that does not require external motivation. In learning activities, intrinsic motivation is very necessary, especially in learning alone. It is very difficult for someone who does not have internal motivation to carry out continuous learning activities. This research is quantitative research because in it there is a process of finding knowledge by using data in the form of numbers as a tool to find information about what you want to know. This research collects data or objective information in the field regarding the relationship between motivation and learning achievement in Islamic religious education. There is a Significant Positive Relationship: The results of the analysis may show that there is a significant positive relationship between students' level of learning motivation and their learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education subjects. This means that the higher the students' learning motivation, the better their learning achievements in this subject.You can summarize the research findings, practical implications, and relevance of the results to education at SMK Al Ma''sum Stabat. You can also emphasize the importance of learning motivation in improving student learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education subjects.

Abstract

This research aims to explore public perceptions of education at the Permata Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ), Tapen Village. With a qualitative approach, this research involves direct observation, interviews, and documentation to understand social phenomena from the participant's perspective. Tapen Village was chosen as the research location because of its relevance to the topic of community participation in developing children's education in non-formal education institutions.The results of the analysis show that the people of Tapen Village have a very positive perception of education at TPQ Permata, especially in academic, economic and social aspects. Active support from various levels of society, participation in economic and social activities, and community solidarity are key points in the success of TPQ Permata. However, several inhibiting factors, such as busy parents and lack of awareness of the importance of early education, need to be taken into consideration in efforts to improve the quality of education at TPQ Permata.This research provides in-depth insight into the dynamics of community participation in supporting non-formal education institutions, especially TPQ. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for developing further strategies to strengthen the role of TPQ Permata in shaping the spiritual character and morals of the younger generation.

Abstract

Character education for children is a necessity and crucial to instill in today's generation. This article is a literature review research type, aiming to describe the importance of character education in Islam by instilling Islamic values in children. Based on the results and discussions above about the Importance of Character Education in Islam: Instilling Islamic Values in Today's Children, it can be concluded that character education in Islam has significant significance. The Quran and Hadith have taught that the responsibility of providing education to children lies with parents, educational institutions, and society. In the context of the current development of science and the globalization trend, Islamic values become the foundation that must be instilled in students. With a strong foundation, students can avoid deviation and inappropriate behavior. Islamic character education aims to strengthen and implement moral values found in Islamic teachings, such as honesty, justice, compassion, and tolerance. Through character education, Islam encourages the prevention of negative behaviors such as dishonesty, violence, and other harmful behaviors that contradict Islamic principles. The importance of developing noble morals is emphasized, with character education helping individuals cultivate qualities such as patience, sincerity, and humility in line with Islamic teachings. Social responsibility towards society is also taught by Islam, and character education helps individuals understand and apply social responsibility according to Islamic teachings. In the context of Islamic character education, the process can be carried out with the approach of emulating the example of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Emulating his behavior and morals is considered crucial in shaping an Islamic character. Character education also helps individuals live in accordance with the purpose of Islamic life, seeking the pleasure of Allah SWT, involving understanding and implementing Islamic teachings in daily life.
