Abstract

The question of God arises in children basically due to environmental influences. The image of God is often mixed with various experiences he gets, because in fact these experiences are useful for instilling impressions in the child's mind, including those seen and heard. Knowing God is something abstract. While the logic of children's thinking is concrete. In the logic of adult thinking, parents can feel that God is All-Seeing, God is All-Powerful and All-All. Everything in the universe belongs to God, and all will return to Him. Life in this world is only temporary, life in the afterlife will be eternal. The statement or explanation for a child will not be easy to understand and the logic is too complicated. Therefore, there is a need for a special approach and method of knowing God to children, in accordance with the development of the soul in children. In introducing God to children, parents need to set a good example, read religious stories, teach prayer, attend religious activities, give appropriate explanations, and create a supportive environment. With the right educational methods, children can understand and develop their relationship with God early on.

Abstract

This study was backed by a teacher who implemented a critical-incident-based active-learning strategy in the context of moral-based education. However, it is still visible that some students are unmotivated throughout the learning-teaching process, that some students are less active during class, and that some students would rather gossip about one another than pay attention in class. The purpose of this study was, therefore, to determine whether or not the use of critical event strategy had any effect on the students' motivation to learn akidah akhlak in the eighth grade at MTsN 5 Solok Selatan. This type of research is similar to the correlative ex post facto research. Participants in this study, a total of 115 students, were all in Grade 8. Cluster random sampling was used for this study's data collection. There were a total of 34 students who used the pen. Data collection was accomplished using the questionnaire technique. However, academics conduct preliminary tests for normality and linearity before the more advanced tests for hypothesis testing. Next, we'll run a coefficient determinant to see how much of an impact independent variables have on dependent ones. According to the research that has been done so far, the critical incident strategy has an impact on student motivation for learning of 36.3%, while the remaining 63.7% is determined by other factors. The findings of this study indicate that the use of critical event strategy has a significant impact on the students' motivation to learn akidah akhlak in class at the eighth grade level of MTsN 5 Solok Selatan..

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out about the contribution of educational psychology to curriculum development, as well as its contribution to student development. The research method used in this research is a descriptive literature study. In the Gen Z education era, students' interest in learning is the main focus in implementing classroom management functions. Several internal and external factors influence this interest in learning. Internal factors include curriculum, teaching methods, technology, and the quality of teacher-student relationships, while external factors include the influence of social media, family pressure, and the surrounding environment. Gen Z students are more responsive to flexible and interactive learning, with an emphasis on appropriate modern technology. A curriculum that gives students freedom to study topics of interest or adjust study time to their activities is very important. The use of variations in teaching methods, such as varied presentations and using multimedia, can maintain students' interest in learning. Even though technology provides access to broad information and interactive learning, excessive use can disrupt the learning process, so it needs to be managed in a balanced manner. Positive relationships between teachers and students are a key factor in increasing interest in learning, enabling appropriate and interesting learning arrangements. Social media can be a major distraction and its wise use is necessary to maintain student focus. Pressure from the family can also influence students' interest in learning, so a supportive environment must be created by the teacher. A deep understanding of students' surroundings allows teachers to design classroom management strategies that are more relevant and interesting, involving collaboration between schools, families and communities.

Abstract

Religion plays a central role in the lives of Indonesian society, being a strong foundation from birth to death, so that secular ideology has difficulty developing because of its connection with religious awareness. Religious education in Indonesia has an important role in forming characters with noble and competitive morals. Even though we are faced with a religious learning crisis, investment in improving the quality of religious education in all schools in Indonesia is important. This study tries to evaluate efforts to improve the quality of Islamic learning at SMP Negeri 03 Surakarta, with a focus on implementing daily tests. Interview results show that daily tests are carried out twice every half semester, despite tight schedule constraints. Even though students show a positive increase in grades during the implementation of the independent curriculum with a practical approach, daily tests which are more theoretical in nature are less popular. However, efforts to improve the quality of religious learning in schools involve drilling activities, independent tutoring, and peer assistance for students who have not reached the target. Regular evaluation and constructive feedback are key in increasing students' understanding of religious values. This research also looks at curriculum development strategies and the use of technology in improving the quality of religious learning. In conclusion, investment in Islamic education is not only the development of spirituality, but also an important contribution in forming a generation that can contribute positively to the progress of society.
