Abstract

Stress is a mental disorder that a person faces due to pressure. This pressure arises from the failure of individuals to meet their needs or desires. Final year students, a group of individuals who are prone to stress. Handling stress can be pharmacological and non-pharmacological, one way to reduce non-pharmacological stress levels is muscle relaxation. Progressive muscle relaxation therapy, namely therapy by providing tension and then relaxing the muscles, the resulting feeling of relaxation is considered to be able to reduce stress levels. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation techniques on stress levels in final year students of the Bachelor of Nursing student program in compiling their thesis at the FITKes UNJANI. Method : The design of this study used quantitative research. The design used in this study was a Quasi Experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was 64 respondents. Result and Conslusion: The results showed that the stress level of the respondents before the intervention was given was in the category of moderate stress (46.9%) and severe stress (53.1%). After being given the intervention, they were in the category of mild stress (65.6%) and moderate stress (34.4%). Wilcoxon test results are known Asymp. Sigh. (2-tailed) is worth 0.000. Because the value of 0.000 is less than <0.05, so there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation techniques on reducing stress in final year students in compiling a thesis at the Faculty of Social Sciences Unjani Cimahi. The conclusion of the study is that there is a decrease in stress levels in final year students by administering progressive muscle relaxation therapy

Data analysis using Spearman Rank test. The results showed that more than half of the respondents (56.8%) considered online learning to be ineffective and more than half of the respondents (70.3%) had good learning achievement. The results of the Spearman Rank test obtained a value (p value = 0.000 < 0.005 and r = 0.378) so that Ha is accepted, then there is a weak relationship between online learning and student achievement at SMA Negeri 7 Singkawang. Online learning becomes ineffective because it is caused by several factors, namely slow internet network, expensive internet quota prices, student behavior is difficult to monitor so they become inactive in learning. There are various types of diseases caused by alcohol consumption, one of which is impaired liver function. Liver function disorders can be indicated by an increase in enzyme activity, one of which is the ALT enzyme. The purpose of this study was to describe the activity of the ALT enzyme in alcoholic beverage consumers. Examination of blood samples has been carried out on alcoholic drink consumers in the "X" community. The type of research conducted is a descriptive study and the method used in the ALT examination is enzimatyc kinetics IFCC. Process of written questionnaire, Informed Consent, as well as examination in the Laboratory. Examination of ALT enzyme activity was carried out at the FITKES UNJANI Laboratory using the Mindray BA-88A tool. This study used 30 samples from alcoholic drink consumers in the "X" community, the results obtained from the examination of ALT enzyme activity in alcoholic beverage consumers were then carried out data management. The results of the examination of 30 samples of alcoholic drinkers whose blood samples were taken 1 day after consuming alcoholic beverages showed abnormal ALT activity examination results in 2 people (7%) and normal results in 28 people (93%)

Abstract

The easy access to food additives in Central Cimahi has made a number of traders add additives to food sold for consumption in order to increase profits. On the other hand, the use of inappropriate food additives can damage health. Formalin, borax and Rhodamine B dye are chemical compounds that provide many benefits to life, borax is useful for preserving wood and cleaning agents, while formalin is a preservative for corpses and is carcinogenic which can trigger cancer if consumed. Meanwhile, Rhodamine B dye is actually used for textile dyes. Therefore, these chemicals are prohibited for consumption. If this compound is consumed, it will become very dangerous and deadly. Nowadays, street food is loved by many people and there are even cases of fraudulent sellers by adding borax, formalin and Rhodamine B. This study aims to review the literature to prove whether there are snack foods that contain formalin, borax and Rhodamine B which can harm human health and provide knowledge to the public about the dangers of these chemicals and how to sort healthy foods and avoid the following substances.

Abstract

The supply and demand for food additives cannot be separated from efforts to fulfill the desires and expectations of consumers about the characteristics of a food. However, sometimes business actors use ingredients that are not intended for food to be used in food. Foods that contain Borax, Formalin and Rhodamine B are hazardous materials for the body, contain preservatives and foods that contain harmful dyes. Misuse of borax in food is usually intended as a hardener, chewing agent, and preservative. Formalin is used as a germ killer so that it is used as an insect repellent and corpse preservative. While Rhodamine B dyes are carcinogenic. Used as a dye for paper, textiles (silk, wool, cotton), and soap. This study aims to identify and find out more about the content of Food Additives (BTM) which are traded freely in the cimahi queuing market. This type of research uses qualitative methods by conducting laboratory tests. The results of this study indicate the presence of food additives in some samples used, which means that the use of prohibited BTM is still used freely by some traders in the market. This allows for potential harm to the health of the surrounding community as consumers due to continuous consumption of food containing BTM.

Abstract

Because food technology is progressing, there is more and more production, consumption and buying and selling of foodstuffs with more durable packaging. Some foods are sold using food additives. Health can be compromised if food additives are used inappropriately. Data from the cimahi city health office (2011) shows 24% or as many as 41 food samples do not meet health standards (11 samples) contain formalin, (12 samples) contain borax, and (7 samples) contain rhodamine B. This research was conducted to test whether or not there is a presence or absence of rhodamine B in the food. This study was conducted to test the presence or absence of food additives in food in the area around Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (UNJANI) as a form of community service so that people are more careful in choosing food. Chromic acid method was used in formalin test, curcumin test in borax test and KLT method in Rhodamine B test. This research was conducted at the Toxicology Laboratory of the Faculty of Technology and Health Sciences, UNJANI. The activities carried out in the study were sampling from peddlers around UNJANI, testing borax, formalin and rhodamine B. In this study, the test results of 5 borax samples, 5 formalin samples and 5 rhodamine B samples were obtained, all of which were negative from harmful Food Additives (BTM). A positive result was obtained on one of the Rhodamine B test samples.
