Abstract

This study examines the influence of price and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Edelweis Florist Surabaya. Using a quantitative associative approach, data were collected from 153 respondents through purposive sampling and analyzed with multiple linear regression using SPSS. The findings reveal that price and product quality simultaneously exert a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Partially, both variables also show a significant and positive influence. Price perceived as appropriate to product quality creates a balanced value perception, enhancing consumer attraction. Meanwhile, high product quality reflected in freshness, durability, and aesthetic design strengthens consumer confidence and increases purchasing intention. These results highlight that combining competitive pricing strategies with superior product quality significantly improves consumer decision-making. The study contributes theoretically to consumer behavior and marketing literature, while practically providing insights for florists to develop effective marketing strategies to maintain competitiveness in a dynamic market.

Abstract

Water is a vital resource for human life, both for domestic and non-domestic needs. However, the availability of clean water often faces challenges, especially in rural areas during the dry season. This study aims to analyze the balance of water supply and demand in the PAMSIMAS program in Kampung Gobang, which involves four neighborhood units (RT) with a total of 80 households. The research used a descriptive quantitative method with a storage measurement approach to calculate water demand and supply during rainy and dry seasons. The results showed that during the rainy season, the water supply of 150,334 liters/day exceeded the community’s demand of 106,143.5 liters/day, while in the dry season the supply decreased to 95,040 liters/day, lower than the required demand. To address this shortage, water distribution was managed alternately among the RTs according to the proportion of households and daily water needs, resulting in RT 09 receiving 39,600 liters, RT 06 receiving 19,800 liters, RT 05 receiving 11,880 liters, and RT 04 receiving 23,760 liters within 24 hours. The findings suggest that although the supply is sufficient in the rainy season, demand cannot be fully met in the dry season, requiring a fair distribution strategy to minimize conflict and ensure equitable access to clean water.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and price on purchasing decisions for the local fashion brand Eiger on TikTok Shop. The research method used was quantitative with an explanatory approach. The sample consisted of 119 purposively selected respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that product quality and price had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for Eiger products on TikTok Shop, with significance values of 0.004 and 0.000, respectively. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.916 indicates that 91.6% of the variation in purchasing decisions is explained by product quality and price, while the remaining 8.4% is influenced by factors outside the research model. These findings confirm that the combination of good product quality and appropriate price is a key factor in increasing consumer purchasing decisions on social media-based e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Flash Sale and Live Streaming on Impulse Buying with Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) as a mediating variable among Shopee Generation Z users in Surabaya. Based on the Stimulus–Organism–Response (SOR) theory, data from 120 respondents were analyzed using PLS-SEM through SmartPLS 4.0. The results showed that Live Streaming had a positive and significant influence on Impulse Buying, while Flash Sale had no direct influence. Both Flash Sale and Live Streaming significantly influenced E-WOM, which in turn had a strong influence on Impulse Buying. E-WOM also acted as a mediator in the relationship between Flash Sale and Live Streaming on Impulse Buying. These findings strengthen the application of SOR theory in the context of young digital consumer behavior, highlighting the importance of trust-based interactive promotions to encourage impulsive buying.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the collaboration patterns among stakeholders (government, local community, private sector, academia, and media) in developing the whale shark tourism destination using the pentahelix model approach. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the pentahelix collaboration has been established, although the roles and contributions of each stakeholder differ. The government plays a role in regulatory formulation, infrastructure provision, and tourism promotion; the local community actively manages and guides tourism activities; the private sector contributes through tourism services and tour packages; academia is engaged in research, community service, and student field programs; while the media supports promotion and public education. This collaboration supports the implementation of Community-Based Tourism (CBT), positioning the local community as the main actor, yet still faces challenges such as limited management capacity, suboptimal regulations, and lack of fully integrated coordination among stakeholders. This study emphasizes that the development of whale shark tourism in Labuhan Jambu Village requires continuous strengthening of pentahelix collaboration to maintain a balance between economic, socio-cultural, and ecological interests.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Empowering Leadership and Corporate Culture on Change-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior (CO-OCB), with Self-Efficacy as a moderating variable among leaders at PT Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) AeroAsia Tbk, Line Maintenance Division. The phenomenon underlying this research is GMF’s need to enhance employees’ proactive and innovative behaviors in supporting organizational transformation, particularly in addressing the global challenges of the aviation industry. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, with questionnaires distributed to leaders within the Line Maintenance Division of GMF. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results reveal that Empowering Leadership has a significant positive effect on CO-OCB, and Corporate Culture also has a significant positive effect on CO-OCB. Furthermore, the moderating effect of Self-Efficacy was found to weaken the relationship between Empowering Leadership and CO-OCB, while conversely strengthening the relationship between Corporate Culture and CO-OCB. The findings of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of human resource management and organizational behavior literature, as well as practical implications for GMF’s management in reinforcing leadership styles and work cultures that foster innovation and continuous organizational change in the workplace.

Abstract

Risk management is essential in educational governance to ensure the sustainability and quality of learning services. This study analyzes operational risks in the appointment process of school principals at Foundation X in North Maluku using the ISO 31000:2018 framework. The research applies a descriptive qualitative method through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the principal appointment process has not yet been supported by standardized and documented procedures, opening space for subjective intervention, the dominance of informal power structures, and limited transparency in decision-making. The risk assessment identifies three high-priority risks: intervention from the Board of Trustees in principal selection, non-meritocratic appointments that disregard competency standards, and internal organizational conflicts stemming from weak leadership legitimacy. The application of ISO 31000:2018 enables systematic mapping of risk likelihood and impact, as well as the formulation of governance-oriented mitigation strategies such as the development of formal selection SOPs, the formation of an independent selection committee, and the reinforcement of performance evaluation mechanisms. This study contributes to improving risk management practices in foundation-based educational institutions by offering recommendations that promote transparency, accountability, and leadership quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direct influence of ESG-Based Intellectual Capital (ESG-IC) on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Green Accounting (GA), and to assess the mediating role of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) within the operational partners of a major mining company in Indonesia. Employing a Mixed Method Sequential Explanatory design, the research initially used Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) on data collected from 116 managerial respondents. The quantitative results indicate that ESG-IC significantly and positively influences CSR, GCG, and GA, while GCG also significantly affects both CSR and GA. Crucially, GCG is proven to be a partial mediator in the relationship between ESG-IC and both CSR (H6) and GA (H7). The subsequent qualitative phase, using thematic analysis from in-depth interviews, confirms this statistical finding by revealing that ESG-IC acts as the initiator of sustainability actions, driven by Human and Structural Capital. In contrast, GCG functions as the validator and formalizing mechanism of accountability, which elevates the legal and credible impact of ESG-IC, particularly in Green Accounting practices. This study concludes that optimal sustainability implementation relies on a synergy where the resources from ESG-IC are channeled, formalized, and strictly overseen by robust GCG mechanisms.
