Abstract

In education, in order to achieve optimal learning achievement, there are factors that must be considered, namely factors of interest in learning and learning discipline. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of learning interest and learning discipline together on student achievement. The method used in this study is a survey method with multiple linear regression analysis. The data collection carried out in the study was by distributing questionnaires. The population in this study were all 11th grade students, totaling 36 students. And the sample used is 30 students. Instrument validity test using SPSS version SPSS 16.0 and reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha of 0.905. Based on data analysis, it can be interpreted that there is a significant influence between learning interest on learning achievement Islamic Cultural History of 11th grade students majoring in Science in MAN 2 district. Bekasi. This is evidenced by the acquisition of Sig. = 0.006 <0.05 and t count = 2.980.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and determine the validity, practicality, effectiveness of PMRI-based mathematics learning multimedia to improve students' numeracy skills. This study uses a type of research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The instruments used include validation sheets of multimedia mathematics learning assessments by experts to measure validity, student response questionnaires to measure practicality, and evaluation test results to measure effectiveness. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students of MI Salafiyah Wareng. The data analysis technique used is validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The results of the validity analysis from the assessment of material experts and media experts obtained an average of 3.19 with valid criteria. The practicality analysis of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 83.07% with practical criteria. Analysis of the effectiveness of the student's numeracy ability test obtained a percentage of 92.31% with very good criteria. Based on the research results, this mathematics learning media is stated to be valid, practical, and effective. Thus it can be concluded that PMRI-based mathematics learning multimedia is appropriate for use in learning and can or has the potential to improve students' numeracy skills.

Abstract

Garbage is one of the big problems in Indonesia from organic and non-organic waste, plastic waste as an example of non-organic waste which takes a long time to decompose even the use of plastic waste in Indonesia has been limited to emergency besides the fiber power from waste recycling and management activities Waste is still very low with waste management activities, which is a creative idea and an effective solution for waste management in Indonesia. With the training on handicraft arts from used goods conducted by KKN-T students from the PGSD Study Program to children in kp. It is hoped that the village of Base Village of Pandeglang Regency will have children in KP. golat is more skilled, active, and able to show his creativity and understand the use of used goods around him. The children together make works with the direction of the teacher and according to the examples that have been prepared beforehand. The targets given [the teaching] are children aged 7-10 years whose works are in the form of piggy banks and flower pots.

Abstract

It is hoped that the results of this paper will become insights as well as initial discourse and action to develop BTQ learning in Islamic educational institutions or in the community. An introduction to reading and writing the Koran to children in this community service activity discussing the introduction of BTQ to children. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide an introduction to the procedures for reading and writing the Qur'an to reveal the effectiveness of implementing the BTQ program at kp.Golat desa. Pangkalan Kab. Pandeglang Banten. The demand for the ability to read and write the Koran has become a widespread phenomenon. Therefore a BTQ program was created for children at kp.Golat desa.pangkalan kab.pandeglang banten. So that with this activity it is hoped that it can improve children's reading and writing of the Koran at kp.Golat desa.pangkalan kab.pandeglang banten, with a variety of BTQ methods provided that can adapt to the needs and characteristics of the children. The diversity of these methods is considered to be able to complement each other's shortcomings with one another. This paper attempts to describe the development of BTQ learning in Sobang Pandeglang with a variety of methods. The results of this paper are attempted to become insights as well as discourse and initial action to develop BTQ learning in Islamic educational institutions or in the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this training is to introduce learning media to Pangkalan Village students. Creating fun reading learning media for children. We have skills in designing Smart Board learning media as reading learning media for elementary school children. The subject of this training is for grade 1 elementary school children in Pangkalan village. Implementation of training is an initial survey to record training participants, arrange permits to carry out training. The method used is direct practice. The direct practice method is used by the trainees so that students are able to read using the smart board media.

Abstract

The purpose of this mentoring activity is to teach the concept of counting to elementary school media. This training activity consisted of 3 stages, namely the first stage of observation, the second stage students in the base village of the base village by using the "smart counting board" learning of socialization and the third stage of mentoring. As for this mentoring activity, the subjects were elementary school students in the base village of the base village. The method used in this community service is mentoring carried out routinely. The result of this assistance is that children can understand the concept of counting by using media and to foster children's motivation to learn mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the representation of: 1) social actors in the text of the crime news in the Makassar City News Daily, and 2) the discourse strategy in the crime news text in the Makassar City News Daily. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data sources in this study were newspapers published in the November and December 2019 editions that contained criminal news. The data collection techniques of this research are documentation, snowball technique, and reading quotes. While the data analysis technique in this study was carried out with an interactive analysis model, namely identification, data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: 1) in general, The discourse strategy that is mostly used in crime news texts in the Makassar City News Daily is to bring up social actors and the social actions they take. Marked by mentioning the complete identity in the form of name, occupation, and address. There are also those who do not reveal or hide the identity of social actors; 2) there are eight discourse practices found in the Makassar City News Daily criminal reporting, namely a) 5 exceptions to data;b) allocation of 7 data roles; c) generalization and specification of 4 data; d) assimilation of 2 data, e) dominating association of 20 data; f) uncertainty of 2 data; g) nomination and categorization of 10 data; h) functionalization of 3 data.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) effective sentences in Indonesian language textbooks in Elementary School 70 Libukang, Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency and (2) the use of paragraphs in Indonesian language textbooks in Elementary School 70 Libukang, Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency. This type of research is descriptive. The research data is the ineffectiveness of sentences and paragraph errors. Data were obtained from textbooks from class I to class VI. The data collection techniques for this research were documentation, literature study, and library research. The data analysis used in this study was descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study show (1) The use of effective sentences in Indonesian language textbooks at 70 Libukang Elementary School, Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency is not in accordance with the rules and grammar of Standard Indonesian. This means that the sentences used are not effective in the preparation of the book. (2) The use of paragraphs in Indonesian language textbooks in Elementary School 70 Libukang, Liliriaja District, Soppeng Regency was found to be inconsistent with the requirements for paragraph preparation. The arrangement of paragraphs found was in the form of paragraphs that did not match the characteristics of completeness of paragraphs, disorganized sentences in paragraphs, incomplete sentences in paragraphs, and incoherence of paragraphs.

Abstract

The problems experienced in this study were the low activity and learning outcomes of students due to the learning still memorized the material, lack of student interest, students were less involved and students did not work together in groups. To overcome these problems researchers use the Flashback model in the learning process. This study aims to describe student activity, teacher activity, and student learning outcomes. The research uses a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is carried out in 4 meetings. The research subjects were fourth grade students at SDN Sungai Miai 8 Banjarmasin with a total of 24 students. Data analysis used descriptive analytical techniques presented in the table. The results of research in meeting I - IV show (1) Teacher activity achieves a score of 34 in the very good category. (2) Student activity reaches a percentage of 96%. (3) Student learning outcomes achieve 96% classical completeness.

Abstract

Inquiry-based learning refers to a sequence of educational activities that aim to fully engage students in methodical, critical, logical, and analytical processes of searching and investigating. The ultimate goal is for students to independently develop their own discoveries with a high level of confidence. This study aims to find out the students' mastery learning results by using the inquiry learning model in which the material is related to the structure and function of plant parts. This research is classroom action research. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. The research subjects were class VIII students, totaling 27 people. The results showed that the percentage of learning completeness in cycle I was 29.63% with an average score of 60.62, and cycle II was 92.60% with an average score of 81.07. The results of this study indicate that learning the structure and function of plant parts using the inquiry learning model can improve student learning outcomes.
