Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan potential review terhadap seorang trainee Human Capital di Hotel X Surabaya sebagai bahan pertimbangan penempatan pada posisi Daily Worker. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan multimodal yang mengombinasikan metode tes dan non-tes, meliputi Behavioral Event Interview (BEI), tes intelegensi Intelligenz Struktur Test (IST), tes kepribadian Sixteen Personality Factors Questionnaire (16PF) dan PAPI Kostick, tes sikap kerja Kraeplin, serta tes grafis Draw-a-Person Test (DAP) dan Baum Tree Test. Analisis dilakukan secara integratif untuk memperoleh gambaran komprehensif mengenai aspek kognitif, sikap kerja, kepribadian, dan dinamika emosional subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek memiliki kemampuan kognitif pada tingkat sedang hingga tinggi pada fungsi-fungsi utama yang relevan dengan tuntutan pekerjaan administratif dan operasional Human Capital. Aspek sikap kerja menunjukkan kecepatan, ketelitian, dan ketahanan kerja yang baik, sementara profil kepribadian mengindikasikan kecenderungan bekerja secara mandiri, bertanggung jawab, dan menjaga hubungan kerja profesional. Terdapat satu area pengembangan pada aspek stabilitas emosi, namun tidak mengganggu pemenuhan kriteria inti jabatan. Berdasarkan analisis kesesuaian kompetensi menggunakan prinsip Just Noticeable Difference dari Weber’s Law, perbedaan kompetensi masih berada dalam batas toleransi yang dapat diterima. Dengan demikian, subjek disarankan untuk menempati posisi Daily Worker di Departemen Human Capital dengan catatan perlunya pendampingan dan penguatan pada aspek regulasi emosi dan komunikasi asertif.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the dynamics of loneliness among older adults attending a geriatric outpatient clinic in Surabaya and to identify personal, relational, and environmental factors contributing to their experiences. A mixed methods approach with a convergent parallel design was applied. Quantitative data were collected using the UCLA Loneliness Scale Version 3, while qualitative data were obtained through semi-structured interviews and participatory observations. The participants consisted of ten older adults aged 60–85 years who were active patients in the geriatric clinic. Quantitative results indicated that the majority of participants experienced moderate to severe levels of loneliness. Qualitative findings revealed that loneliness was closely related to the loss of meaningful social roles, increased dependency due to chronic illness, limited opportunities for meaningful social interaction, and emotionally distant communication patterns within the family. Participants also described feelings of helplessness, reduced self-worth, and uncertainty about their future, which further intensified their sense of isolation. The integration of quantitative and qualitative findings demonstrates that loneliness among older adults in geriatric care is multidimensional, involving psychological vulnerability, relational disconnection, and environmental constraints within healthcare settings. These findings highlight the importance of incorporating routine psychosocial screening into geriatric services and developing comprehensive interventions that extend beyond medical treatment. Family-based support programs, structured peer-support activities, and community-oriented initiatives are recommended to strengthen social connectedness, promote active engagement, and enhance overall psychological well-being among older adults receiving long-term care.

Abstract

Tingginya penggunaan media digital pada remaja meningkatkan risiko terjadinya cyberbullying, khususnya pada siswa SMP yang memiliki literasi digital rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas psikoedukasi literasi digital sebagai upaya pencegahan cyberbullying pada siswa SMP. Penelitian ini memakai desain one-group pretest-posttest pada 20 siswa SMP berusia 14-15 tahun untuk partisipan. Intervensi berupa psikoedukasi “Upaya meningkatkan literasi digital pada remaja” dilaksanakan selama 90 menit melalui pemberian materi, diskusi, dan role play. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner skala likert sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Temuan analisis t test menemukan t = -10,308 dengqn p=0,00 (p<0,01). Hal ini memperlihatkan ada perbedaan pengetahuan literasi digital yang sangat signifikan sebelum dan setelah dilakukan psikoedukasi. Mean post-test (Mean=87,75) lebih besar disbanding dengan Mean pre-test (Mean=77,50). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi literasi digital efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan sikap etis siswa dalam bermedia digital sebagai langkah preventif terhadap cyberbullying.

Abstract

Fear of rejection is a psychological experience that often emerges in late adolescence and early adulthood when individuals begin to develop more complex interpersonal relationships. Various psychological factors, such as self-evaluation, sensitivity to potential rejection, and interpersonal attachment patterns, may influence how individuals perceive and respond to the possibility of being rejected. This study aimed to examine the influence of self-esteem, rejection sensitivity, and avoidant attachment on fear of rejection among individuals aged 17–25 years. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 150 respondents using Likert-scale questionnaires measuring self-esteem, rejection sensitivity, avoidant attachment, and fear of rejection. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after meeting classical assumption tests. The results showed that self-esteem had a negative and significant effect on fear of rejection, indicating that individuals with higher self-esteem tended to experience lower fear of rejection. In contrast, rejection sensitivity and avoidant attachment had positive and significant effects on fear of rejection. Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly predicted fear of rejection among participants. In conclusion, fear of rejection in late adolescence and early adulthood is influenced by the combined roles of self-evaluation, sensitivity to potential rejection, and interpersonal attachment patterns. These findings highlight the importance of both intrapersonal and interpersonal psychological factors in understanding individuals’ responses to perceived social rejection.
