Abstract

This research explores the relationship between the Human Development Index (HDI) and regional economic growth in Probolinggo Regency during 2020–2024. HDI represents not only education and health, but also the overall quality of life of the population. On the other hand, economic growth is measured using the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at constant prices. This study applies a quantitative approach using secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), with Pearson correlation analysis to examine the link between the two variables. The results show a positive and meaningful correlation, suggesting that improvements in human development tend to go hand in hand with better economic performance. These findings emphasize that developing human capital is not just a social priority, but a strategic move to build sustainable regional growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of government expenditure, budget deficit, trade balance, and exchange rate on external debt in Indonesia and Thailand. The method used is the Error Correction Model (ECM) with annual time series data from 1994 to 2023. The results show that in Indonesia, the trade balance has a significant negative effect on external debt in the short term, while government expenditure, budget deficit, and exchange rate have no significant effect. Meanwhile, in Thailand, the budget deficit has a significant positive effect, the trade balance has a significant negative effect, and the exchange rate has a significant negative effect on external debt. These findings imply that fiscal policy and external sector conditions play an important role in the dynamics of external debt in both countries.

The F-test results show = 56.825 > = 3.09 (sig = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating that the three variables simultaneously have a significant effect on student adjustment. The t-test results show that culture shock ( = 2.677 > = 1.984) and self-efficacy ( = 5.792 > = 1.984) have a significant effect, while human relations ( = -2.246 < = 1.984) do not have a significant effect.

Abstract

Abstract

The research aim to examine the influence of Service Quality, Promotion, Location, Facility, price on patient satisfaction at the Klinik Dokter gigi Budhi Jember. Patient satisfaction is an important factor in maintaining loyalty and improving the clinic's image in the midst of increasingly fierce health service competition. This study uses quantitative methods, with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to 60 respondents who are patients of Klinik Dokter Gigi Budhi Jember. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 29. The results showed that promotion and price have a positive influence on patient satisfaction. However, the variables of service quality, location and facilities did not show a significant effect. This indicates that although aspects such as service, location, and facilities contribute to patient experience, patient perceptions of attractive promotions and affordable prices are more instrumental in shaping overall satisfaction in the context of health services at dental clinics.

Abstract

The rise of social media usage in the digital era has transformed marketing patterns, especially for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the Social Media Marketing (SMM) strategies applied by Auva Store to increase sales and expand market reach. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using in-depth interviews and social media content documentation as data collection methods. The results indicate that the organic use of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp has enabled more effective communication with customers, increased brand awareness, and strengthened customer loyalty. The key strategies include influencer endorsements, sales promotions, direct communication, and affiliate marketing. Despite these efforts, the store's social media engagement—measured by likes, comments, and shares—remains low, suggesting the need to improve content quality, visual appeal, and message clarity. These findings emphasize the importance of digital communication strategies in enhancing customer interaction. The study concludes that well-planned and consistent SMM can serve as a critical success factor for MSMEs to remain competitive and sustainable in the digital marketplace.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development strategies of a self-reliant village through the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and to review their alignment with Islamic economic principles in Tepian Langsat Village, Bengalon District, East Kutai Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that BUMDes Tepian Bina Bersama operates business units such as microfinance, basic goods distribution, and social programs that directly impact community welfare and increase the Village Original Income (PADesa). The development strategies are carried out in a participatory, transparent, and locally based manner, involving both the village government and the local community. From the perspective of Islamic economics, these strategies reflect principles of justice, consultation (shūrā), transparency, and public benefit (maṣlaḥah). However, several challenges remain, including limited understanding of Islamic commercial law (muʿāmalah) among managers, the absence of fully sharia-compliant financing models, and a lack of sharia-based managerial training. Improvement efforts are being made through human resource development, transparent reporting, and continuous community engagement.
