Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates innovation ecosystems within Teaching Factory Agribusiness, addressing the critical gap in the literature regarding the absence of a strategic framework to enhance innovation and sustainability in agribusiness education. Using a grounded theory methodology, we conducted in-depth interviews with 20–30 participants, including educators, industry stakeholders, and policymakers, to gain insights into collaboration, resource sharing, and continuous learning dynamics. The results clarify four thematic areas; (1) Collaboration and Partnerships, (2) Resource Mobilization and Sharing, (3) Policy and Institutional Support, and (4) Continuous Learning and Adaptation. The above threads weave together into a framework to make agribusiness education explicit in the functioning of innovation ecosystems. The findings have significance for policy-makers, educationists, and industry personnel involved in improving the quality of agribusiness innovation. Future research directions can be a framework, especially regarding the benefits of innovation, and collaboration through technological facilities.

Gumuk Bago Hamlet in Nogosari Village, Rambipuji District, Jember Regency, has natural potential that has not been utilized optimally, such as empty land and river flows only used for irrigation. Researchers introduced the Smart Aquaponic system, integrating the cultivation of catfish and kale plants with IoT technology. Apart from training residents in managing aquaponic products, innovations are being made by processing catfish into nuggets rich in nutrients, which have great potential on the market. This research analyzes the development and innovation strategy for catfish nugget products. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that marketing strategies include improving quality, expanding distribution, and promotions with more attractive packaging designs. The manufacturing process is carried out traditionally without preservatives, however, innovation continues to be developed in the form of flavors and product variants to attract new consumers and maintain market share. In conclusion, the product innovation and marketing strategy succeeded in increasing product adoption and keeping sales growth of catfish nuggets in the local market.

Employee turnover has become a problem for many business owners because it affects the sustainability of the business. This research was intended to explore the role of transformational leadership in determining SME employee turnover intention with job satisfaction and work engagement as mediators. Using purposive sampling, two hundred twenty-seven responses were obtained by distributing questionnaires to SME employees. The PLS-SEM application was used to analyze the collected data. The results revealed that transformational leadership positively affects work engagement and job satisfaction. On the other hand, transformational leadership negatively affects turnover intention. In addition, the results also reveal that work engagement and job satisfaction negatively affect turnover intention. Furthermore, work engagement and job satisfaction also intercede the impact of transformational leadership on turnover intention. This research provides essential implications for managing human resources owned by SMEs.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of various alternative statistical approaches in testing the null hypothesis's significance to improve marketing research's reliability. Conventional methods such as p-value are often misunderstood and have limitations in interpreting the results of the analysis. Therefore, this study compares several alternative approaches, including Bayesian inference, bootstrap resampling, and false discovery rate, to improve the validity and repeatability of marketing research results. By using a simulation-based quantitative approach and a survey of marketing academics and practitioners, the findings of this study show that alternative methods can provide more informative results than conventional techniques. The implications of this study contribute to strengthening marketing research methodologies to be more accurate and reliable.
