Abstract

Technological developments influence the development of schools in Indonesia regarding the facilities and learning media used, especially in the procurement of school facilities and infrastructure which must be met and improved. Procurement of school facilities and infrastructure still requires clear and sufficient funding sources. One of the funds that can be used as a source is BOS funds which are used to fund all school operations and non-operations, one of which is for facilities and infrastructure. The use of these funds needs to be planned so that they are sufficient according to the funds and expenses. Facilities and infrastructure that have been met can be put to good use to support the smooth running of learning and attention must be paid to their maintenance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the characteristics of LKPD based on mathematical sentences, determine the feasibility of LKPD products, and determine students' interest in learning after implementing LKPD based on math sentence problems in chapter 11 class IV. This type of research is Development Research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model and the resulting product is a mathematical sentence-based LKPD. This research involved 22 class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Pasung. The feasibility of the LKPD is tested with validation from expert practitioners, media and materials. Data collection used in this research was interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The interview sheet is used to analyze the needs of educators and students before preparing the product. The results of this research concluded that the LKPD has attractive design characteristics, diverse character traits, problem presentation in the form of dialogue, problem presentation stages that are in accordance with the PBL model, presentation of material in the form of videos and games. The feasibility of this LKPD is declared appropriate and not revised, because it is in accordance with the quality indicators of the LKPD content, media, materials and illustrations. Students' interest in learning increased by 41% after using this mathematical sentence problem-based worksheet.

Abstract

The research sought to identify knowledge management and work quality and the relationship between them in the National Sports Federation in the game of gymnastics. Utilizing correlational correlations and the survey method, the researchers employed a descriptive strategy. The research community was determined from the workers in the National Sports Federation, numbering (120) workers. The community was divided into (20) workers for the exploratory experiment and (100) workers for the preparation and application experiment. The scientific foundations of the two scales (reliability and validity ) were used through the ability to distinguish, internal consistency and half-split. The researchers concluded that the prevailing work quality in the Federation has a set of constituent elements that the Federation must realize and work to balance between them to reach a better work environment that accompanies the activity of the workers. The researchers recommended that the Federation and the sample study must know the steps and mechanisms related to knowledge management and search for methods through which they can discover the relationship and impact with the performance of the working individuals and guide decision-makers in the Federation to the path that can be taken to reach that activity that links knowledge management and work quality.

Abstract

This research aims to improve Learning Achievement in Writing Simple Descriptive Texts Through the STAD Cooperative Learning Model for Class IXB Negeri 6 Sukoharjo Students in Semester 1 of the 2022/2023 Academic Year" The research method uses Classroom Action Research which is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consists of two meetings, with four stages of research: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study are students of Class IXB Negeri 6 Sukoharjo in Semester 1 of the 202/2023 Academic Year with a total of 36 students. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this study is to improve Learning Achievement in Writing Simple Descriptive Texts Through the STAD Cooperative Learning model. The results of the success in this study are evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle of students who managed to get KKM scores, an increase from the initial condition of 18 students (50%) to 23 students (64%) or there was an increase of 14% compared to the initial condition. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, it increased to 32 students (88.8%) or there was an increase of 24.8% from before. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD Learning Model can improve the learning outcomes of Writing Simple Descriptive Texts in Class IXB Negeri 6 Sukoharjo students in Semester 1 of the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

This study investigates how English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners' engagement and language skills are affected by project-based learning (PBL). In three cycles, twenty-eight seventh-graders participated in the research, which used a classroom action research (CAR) design in partnership with an English teacher. Student surveys, observation checklists, performance evaluations, and qualitative comments from the teacher and the students were used to gather data. According to the findings, PBL significantly increases student involvement; by the end of the cycle, 85% of students had shown consistent participation. Notably, motivation also rose, with 90% of students indicating a greater desire to learn English. There were gains in language proficiency; speaking and writing scores increased from 60% and 55% to 85% and 80%, respectively. Qualitative data showed that students felt more confident and enjoyed their learning, and they valued the PBL activities' applicability to the real world. The study also revealed problems, like lower-proficiency students' issues and initial resistance to group work, resolved with focused scaffolding and assistance. The results demonstrate that PBL can be a proper pedagogical strategy for raising student motivation and language acquisition. They also support the usefulness of PBL in fostering a more dynamic and successful EFL learning environment. Future studies could examine PBL's long-term effects and use in various educational settings.

Abstract

Commissive illocutionary speech acts are a type of speech act that speakers understand to bind themselves to take action in the future. Commissive illocutionary speech acts aim to provide information to their speech partners. The research method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method. This method is used to examine natural objects and also describe an image or video systematically. In this study, the researcher conducted a film study taken from YouTube, entitled "Jayadi 2020" by Hajar Pamuji. Where the film tells the story of a true story behind the election of the village head. The technique used for research is the data collection technique. The results of the study of commissive illocutionary speech acts from the film Jayadi 2020 are in the form of promising, threatening, offering, ability, vows, and also refusing.

Abstract

Children’s education and creativity development program is carried out by the schools around the company areas embodies the company commitment related to the world of education in Samarinda. The aim of this research is to upgrade the service providers in improving the quality of services in Pendikresa Program. The sampling method used is Survey method. The data analysis methods used in this survey were descriptive analysis, customer satisfaction index and importance performance analysis. The results of the analysis illustrated that the survey on Community Satisfaction, underdone by Public Service Delivery Unit shows a figure of 71.20. It can be seen that this number fulfills the category of the value range 60% < IKM ≤ 80% which illustrates that the IKM value is in the "Good" criteria. The IPA analysis shows what included in the priority quadrant of improvement program, these include indicators such as : the openness of information regarding to program of the implementation procedures; the ease of program procedures; the accuracy of the implementation program schedule; the effectiveness of program implementation; the technical competency of program implementers; the managerial competency of program managers; the discipline and responsibility of program managers; the clarity of complaints handling procedures; and the clarity of complaint handling time; and) the facilitation procurement of supporting facilities or infrastructure program.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri Bulakrejo 03 Sukoharjo on the learning content of Pancasila Education with material on the application of Pancasila in social life. The aim of this research is to find out the results of improving learning outcomes by implementing the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model in elementary schools. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students at SD Negeri Bulakrejo 03 Sukoharjo with a total of 30 students. This research uses classroom action research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, tests and documentation. The criteria for assessing success in this material are 70 from 1-100 points in accordance with the criteria for completing the minimum PPKn lesson content. The research results show that the application of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model can improve PPKn learning outcomes. At the pre-cycle stage the average student score was 65.25; in cycle I with a value of 75,60; and in cycle II it increased to 81.93. The use of the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model has been proven to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

By using a problem-based learning (PBL) model supported by flashcard media, classroom action research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, with observation, reflection, implementation, and planning. The aim was to improve student learning outcomes in the five senses material in grade III. The results showed that, in the first cycle, 44% of students achieved completion, with an average score of 68%; in the second cycle, the percentage of completion increased to 86%, with an average score of 82%. These results indicate that the application of the PBL model with flashcard media can help students understand the five senses material better. As a result, this learning approach can be used as an alternative to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study discusses the communication style presented by Habib Ja'far on the YouTube show Login Ja'far Onad Episode 15 Perang Takjil. This study uses the Aristotelian Rhetoric approach to determine how Habib Ja'far's communication style is on the YouTube show Login Ja'far Onad Episode 15 Perang Takjil. The results of this study indicate that in Habib Ja'far's communication style there is a Pathos aspect, namely the way Habib Ja'far conveys his emotions to the person he is talking to and the way he builds an emotion in communicating, then Habib Ja'far's communication style has an Ethos aspect, namely Habib Ja'far's character in communicating and finally there is a Logos aspect, namely how Habib Ja'far uses and chooses sentences in communicating so that they can be understood by the listener and the person he is talking to.
