Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model on learning outcomes of elementary school students. Program Based Learning is a learning method that focuses on problem solving, in which students will be given realistic and complex problems to solve independently or in groups. This method is different from conventional learning methods which focus more on explaining theory and teaching directly from the teacher. The research method used was quasi-experimental using a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes of elementary school students in a city in Indonesia, namely one class as the control group and one class as the experimental group that applied the PBL Model. Data collection was carried out by giving pre-test before treatment and post-test after treatment to the two sample groups. The data were then analyzed using the independent sample t-test statistical technique. The results showed that there was a significant difference between student learning outcomes in the experimental group using the PBL model and the control group using conventional learning methods. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students using the PBL method and conventional learning. The group of students who received learning with the PBL method had a higher posttest average score than the control group. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the PBL model can positively influence the learning outcomes of elementary school students and it is recommended to apply it in the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Model Based Learning (PBL) in Integrated Thematic Learning in Grade 5 Elementary Schools. The research method used was a literature study, by conducting a search for relevant literature on the application of PBL in the context of integrated thematic learning in grade 5 of elementary school. Literature analysis was conducted to identify the benefits, challenges, and recommendations that emerged from previous research. The results of the study show that the application of PBL in integrated thematic learning in grade 5 elementary schools provides significant benefits, such as subject integration, contextual learning, development of critical thinking skills, higher student engagement, collaboration and communication, and development of student creativity. However, Therefore, a differentiation approach, involving parents, collaboration between teachers, as well as a well-planned approach and good support are needed to carry out PBL effectively in grade 5 of elementary school. This research provides useful insights for educators and practitioners in implementing PBL in Integrated Thematic Learning in Grade 5 Elementary Schools.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the factors that cause bullying at SDN 1 Demak Ijo. (2) to determine the impact of bullying on the mental health of children at SDN 1 Demak Ijo. This research is qualitative research. This research was carried out at SDN 1 Demak Ijo. The research was carried out over a period of 3 months starting from April to June 2024. To find data, researchers used observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data source was obtained from the class 3 homeroom teacher, 1 perpetrator and 1 victim. The results of the research show that: (1) the factors causing bullying at SDN 1 Demak Ijo are lack of empathy, inability to manage emotions, tendency towards group conformity, feelings of inferiority or insecurity, wrong understanding of power and control, negative behavior models, indifference towards impact of behavior and problems in personal life. (2) The impact of bullying behavior on the mental health of children at SDN 1 Demak Ijo, namely anxiety, silence, lack of self-confidence when carrying out school activities, weakness, fear of meeting the perpetrator and becoming gloomy.

Abstract

Technological developments greatly influence several aspects of life. These aspects can include education, economics, culture and politics. An educator must prepare several abilities in applying learning activities. So that the learning process is not monotonous and varied. This ability is in the form of an educator's ability in terms of technology. This service aims to increase the insight and creativity of students, especially PGSD students, in carrying out innovative learning activities. The methods used in the service are in the form of demonstrations, lectures and direct practice using their respective laptops. The result of this service is the opening of new insights for students regarding technological developments that can be used in the world of education.

Abstract

The 21st century is an era of technological advancement in this century technology plays an important role in human life from various aspects including in the world of education. Teachers are required to integrate technology in learning activities. TPACK, which stands for Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge, is a new understanding that has become a framework that can be used to analyze educators' knowledge about the use of technology in learning. The problems in this study are (1) how to implement TPACK in learning at MI Muhammadiyah Sentono Klaten (2) teacher obstacles in implementing TPACK. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of grade IV students of MI Muhammadiyah Sentono Klaten before and after implementing the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) approach, and to determine how much influence it has on the learning outcomes of grade IV students of MI Muhammadiyah Sentono Klaten. This study is a quantitative study with descriptive and comparative methods. The descriptive method is a research method to create a picture of a situation or event, while comparative is a study that uses the technique of comparing one object with another object with interview, observation and documentation techniques.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia perlu ditingkatkan seiring dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Salah satu peningkatan ini dapat dilakukan melalui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang berkualitas harus berpusat pada siswa sebagai subjek pembelajarannya. Guru sangat berperan untuk mengembangkan potensi, kreativitas, memotivasi siswa dalam membangun kemauan serta memberikan keteladanan. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan seorang guru dapat digunakan sebagai panduan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga menjadi terarah  dengan kompetensi yang akan dicapai. Pembelajaran berbasis sosiokultural menekankan bahwa lingkungan sosial dapat membantu proses pembelajarannya. Masyarakat dan budaya merupakan sumber ilmu dalam penerapan teori ini. Interaksi sosial dari siswa baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun masyarakat sangat penting guna membangun kerjasama sebagai suatu proses pengembangan diri.. Pembelajaran pada tema lingkungan bersih, sehat, dan asri tidak terlepas dari nilai-nilai sosiokultural dan lingkungannya. Dengan demikian proses pembelajarannya akan mengkonstruksi pengetahuan secara bersama-sama antara semua pihak yang terlibat di dalamnya.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini adalah rendahnya prestasi akademik siswa di sekolah. Seiring dengan kemajuan pesat Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK), penguasaan matematika menjadi sangat penting bagi para pelajar. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, individu umumnya menggunakan pemikiran cepat, logis, dan teknologi untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas dengan efisien. Keterampilan kognitif ini merupakan bagian integral dari kemahiran matematika. Strategi pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) adalah suatu metode pembelajaran di mana siswa belajar dalam kelompok-kelompok. TGT sangat sesuai dan mudah diterapkan di kalangan siswa karena menekankan pada partisipasi aktif dan kerjasama antara semua siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literatur Review (SLR). SLR Studi ini menekankan pentingnya meningkatkan pendidikan matematika melalui implementasi efektif strategiTGT untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa. Data dikumpulkan dari lima artikel jurnal yang diperoleh melalui aplikasi Publish or Perish di basis data Google Scholar. Strategi pembelajaran pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika, keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa, serta aktivitas guru dan siswa.

Abstract

The background to this research is the low student learning outcomes which are less than the KKTP, namely 75. Many students are busy alone and do not pay attention to the teacher and the learning model is less interesting. The teacher uses a lecture learning model and uses an LCD to play guessing games. The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of grade 2 students at SD N 1 Karangduren by using the TGT (Team Games Tournament) learning model. This research is classroom action research which lasts for two cycles consisting of planning, action implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were 2nd grade students SD N 1 Karangduren. The data collection technique in this research is pre-test and post-test questions which consist of multiple choice, matching, true-false and description questions. Based on the research results obtained on Building Space material, it can be improved by using the TGT (Team Games Tournament) learning model. The incrase in learning outcomes can be seen from the initial condition, the average value is 29%. In cycle I there was an incrase with an average of 47%. The in cycle II there was an incrase with an average og 88%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the characteristics of LKPD based on mathematical sentences, determine the feasibility of LKPD products, and determine students' interest in learning after implementing LKPD based on math sentence problems in chapter 11 class IV. This type of research is Development Research (Research and Development) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model and the resulting product is a mathematical sentence-based LKPD. This research involved 22 class IV students at SD Negeri 1 Pasung. The feasibility of the LKPD is tested with validation from expert practitioners, media and materials. Data collection used in this research was interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The interview sheet is used to analyze the needs of educators and students before preparing the product. The results of this research concluded that the LKPD has attractive design characteristics, diverse character traits, problem presentation in the form of dialogue, problem presentation stages that are in accordance with the PBL model, presentation of material in the form of videos and games. The feasibility of this LKPD is declared appropriate and not revised, because it is in accordance with the quality indicators of the LKPD content, media, materials and illustrations. Students' interest in learning increased by 41% after using this mathematical sentence problem-based worksheet.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) The role of Pancasila Education teachers in improving the character of grade I students at SDIT Persada (2) How teachers apply religious, disciplined, and responsible character values. This research is qualitative research through descriptive analysis methods. The primary data sources in the research are Pancasila Education teachers in class I and students of grade I SDIT Persada Bayat. Research instruments use observation, interviews, and documentation. This research uses data validity and credibility testing using triangulation. The data analysis techniques used in this study use Miles and Huberman analysis models consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results of research conducted at SDIT Persada Bayat can show that: (1) Teachers act as educators, teachers, learning resources, supervisors, demonstrators, motivators and evaluators in improving the character of students. Where the role of the teacher is very influential on improving the character of students in the learning process and outside the learning process. (2) Religious values, discipline and responsibility are strongly emphasized in the school environment. This value must also be formed in the family environment, and in school continue what is already formed from home.
