Abstract

The emergence of quiet quitting has become a significant challenge for contemporary organizations, reflecting employees' psychological disengagement despite maintaining formal employment. This study aims to examine how Human Resource Management (HRM) strategies can be transformed to address the quiet quitting phenomenon through a contemporary literature review approach. The research employs library research using relevant scholarly publications as primary data and supporting literature as secondary data. Data were collected through systematic literature review and analyzed using content analysis to identify patterns, relationships, and strategic insights. The findings indicate that traditional HRM practices are insufficient to address evolving employee expectations in modern workplaces. Contemporary HRM strategies emphasizing employee engagement, transformational leadership, career development, organizational support, workplace well-being, and flexible work arrangements are more effective in reducing quiet quitting behavior. The study concludes that employee-centered HRM transformation strengthens organizational commitment, enhances employee engagement, and contributes to sustainable organizational performance. These findings provide both theoretical contributions to contemporary HRM literature and practical recommendations for organizations seeking to mitigate employee disengagement.

Abstract

The selection of vendors for critical machine components is essential for maintaining machine reliability, minimizing maintenance costs, and ensuring continuous production in the non-dairy creamer industry. However, previous AHP–TOPSIS studies have predominantly focused on conventional procurement criteria, with limited attention to the operational consequences of selecting critical spare-part vendors, particularly their effects on machine reliability, gasket service life, maintenance downtime, and lifecycle maintenance costs. This study addresses this gap by developing an integrated Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) for clamp plunger vendor selection. Five evaluation criteria—clamp price, lead time, product quality, impact on gasket service life, and vendor service and repair support—were applied to evaluate three vendor alternatives (Wirasakti, Prosper, and Asahan) using expert judgments and operational data. The AHP analysis identified product quality as the most influential criterion (49.35%), followed by impact on gasket service life (24.32%), vendor service and repair support (12.22%), clamp price (9.44%), and lead time (4.66%), with a consistency ratio of 0.042. The TOPSIS results ranked Wirasakti as the best vendor (0.871), followed by Prosper (0.813) and Asahan (0.187). The novelty of this study lies in integrating vendor evaluation with machine reliability and maintenance performance indicators, extending vendor selection beyond conventional procurement considerations. The proposed DSS provides a systematic and objective framework that supports reliability-oriented procurement decisions, helping manufacturers reduce maintenance downtime, improve component lifecycle performance, and enhance sustainable production efficiency.

Abstract

Dance creation is an artistic practice that extends beyond aesthetic achievement by incorporating ethical and logical considerations into every creative decision. However, studies integrating these three dimensions within a unified conceptual framework remain limited, particularly in the context of Indonesian dance creation. This study aims to examine the application of ethical, logical, and aesthetic principles in the creative process of the dance work Sangita Praja and to formulate a conceptual model explaining the relationships among these principles. A qualitative approach employing narrative inquiry was adopted. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation of the creative process, and the choreographer's reflective notes. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis by integrating participants' narratives with interpretations grounded in choreography theory and practice-based artistic research. The findings reveal that the creation of Sangita Praja evolved through a dynamic interaction among ethical, logical, and aesthetic principles that continuously influenced one another throughout the creative process. Ethical principles guided value orientation and artistic responsibility, logical principles structured the choreography coherently, while aesthetic principles shaped expressive quality and artistic experience. Based on these findings, this study proposes the Ethical–Logical–Aesthetic Choreographic Framework (ELA Framework) as a conceptual model that explains the integration of these three principles within choreographic practice. The proposed framework contributes to the development of Practice-Based Research and choreography studies by positioning dance creation as a reflective practice that simultaneously produces artistic works and scholarly knowledge.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed various aspects of human life while simultaneously creating ethical challenges, including algorithmic bias, privacy concerns, misinformation, and academic dishonesty. These issues highlight the need for ethical guidance that extends beyond technological regulations. This study aims to examine how Pancasila values can be transformed through Civic Education to address ethical challenges in the use of AI technologies. Using a qualitative library research approach, data were collected through a systematic review of books, scholarly journals, policy documents, and relevant scientific literature. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis to identify patterns, conceptual relationships, and key themes. The findings indicate that the five principles of Pancasila complement global AI ethics by emphasizing humanity, justice, democracy, unity, and social responsibility. Furthermore, Civic Education serves as an effective medium for integrating these values into AI literacy, fostering responsible digital citizenship, ethical decision-making, and sustainable technology use. This study contributes a conceptual framework for strengthening AI ethics through culturally grounded civic education.

Abstract

The increasing availability of digital data and the rapid advancement of digital technologies have transformed marketing from intuition-based practices into evidence-based strategic decision-making. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the strategic role of data analytics in supporting global marketing decision-making among export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A qualitative library research approach was employed by critically reviewing and integrating contemporary literature on data analytics, marketing analytics, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and international marketing. The analysis was conducted through qualitative content analysis and thematic synthesis to identify recurring concepts, compare theoretical perspectives, and develop an integrated conceptual framework. The findings indicate that data analytics has evolved beyond a technological tool into a strategic organizational capability that enables firms to transform diverse data resources into actionable marketing intelligence. By integrating customer insights, predictive analytics, and managerial judgment, organizations can improve market selection, customer segmentation, pricing strategies, promotional planning, and resource allocation in increasingly dynamic international markets. The study further highlights that the effectiveness of data analytics depends not only on technological adoption but also on complementary organizational capabilities, including analytical competencies, digital culture, leadership commitment, organizational learning, and data governance. The principal contribution of this research is the development of an integrated conceptual framework that connects organizational data resources, data analytics capability, strategic marketing intelligence, and global marketing decision-making. This framework provides a comprehensive theoretical foundation for future empirical studies while offering practical insights for managers and policymakers seeking to strengthen the international competitiveness of export-oriented SMEs through data-driven marketing strategies.

Abstract

Beksan Lawung Ringgit is one of the dances of the Yogyakarta Palace, created by Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono I and subsequently reconstructed during the reign of Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X. The reconstruction of this dance was based on an ancient manuscript containing limited information; therefore, textual and contextual interpretation was required by adopting an existing choreographic structure and compositional framework. Beksan Lawung Ringgit, which was performed at the opening ceremony of the International Symposium on the Attire and Civilization of the Yogyakarta Palace in 2020, was the second occasion on which the dance was presented for public viewing. Overall, Beksan Lawung Ringgit is performed by six male dancers, each portraying a different character. The presence of characterization in this dance represents a unique and uncommon feature, particularly within the compositional conventions of the Lawung dance tradition. This study employs a textual approach to analyze the form of presentation and the various compositional aspects of Beksan Lawung Ringgit.
