Abstract

Program pengabdian berupa pelatihan arsiparis perpustakaan di SD Muhammadiyah Merauke disusun sebagai respon terhadap rendahnya kompetensi pengelolaan arsip di sekolah dasar daerah. Metodologi menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods, mencakup survei awal, analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan modul, implementasi melalui lokakarya, pendampingan, dan evaluasi hasil melalui perbandingan nilai pretest dan posttest. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, di mana nilai rata-rata peserta naik dari 52,4 menjadi 78,5, efektivitas indeksasi meningkat dari 40% menjadi 85%, serta rata-rata waktu pencarian arsip berkurang dari 5,2 menit menjadi 1,8 menit. Berdasarkan pembahasan, pelatihan berbasis partisipatif terbukti mengurangi resistensi terhadap teknologi, meski kendala infrastruktur masih ada, sehingga kesimpulannya pelatihan kontekstual ini efektif, berkelanjutan, dan layak direplikasi secara luas.

Abstract

Unequal access to international scholarship information remains a significant barrier in Indonesia. This community service program aimed to promote equitable scholarship literacy through a digital mentoring approach via the Tatra Academy platform. The program followed four stages: needs identification via Instagram, resource planning, online implementation via Zoom and YouTube, and demographic evaluation. Analysis of 1,102 cleaned registrants revealed a broad nationwide reach, including participants from frontier and underdeveloped (3T) regions. The program demonstrated high inclusivity across generations, engaging 369 participants under age 20 and 34 participants over age 40, supporting lifelong learning. The initial session on Hungary and Poland scholarships recorded the highest enthusiasm, followed by the AAS/MANAKI series and technical guides for essays and CVs. Findings show that digital platform integration effectively overcomes geographic barriers, democratizes information access, and supports inclusive human resource development.

Abstract

Cultural preservation is an important aspect that needs to be instilled from an early age. However, the condition at MI Muhammadiyah 07 Sungegeneng indicates limited student access to various forms of local cultural arts, where previous art activities were only confined to basic drawing and coloring. To address this issue, KKN Universitas Billfath Lamongan conducted Batik Shibori training to introduce the tie-dye technique, foster creativity, and promote character values such as cooperation, discipline, and responsibility. The training followed a systematic approach: material delivery, technical demonstration, hands-on practice, and evaluation. Involving 18 students divided into small groups, the activity saw high enthusiasm as participants actively folded, tied, and dyed fabric to create unique motifs like flowers and ornaments. The results indicate that the activity improved students’ technical understanding and artistic skills. Therefore, shibori batik can be considered an effective, engaging, and educational medium for cultural preservation and character development in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of the role of students in the SISDAMAS-based Community Service Program (KKN) as teaching facilitators in improving education in Tanggulun Village through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method by integrating PAR and SISDAMAS frameworks. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by semi-quantitative indicators and validated through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that all stages of the program, including socialization, social mapping, participatory planning, and implementation at kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school levels, were carried out in a participatory and collaborative manner. Educational activities such as storytelling programs, literacy sessions, and youth workshops contributed to increased student engagement, more interactive learning environments, and strengthened social values. These findings demonstrate that the integration of SISDAMAS and PAR is effective in optimizing the role of students as teaching facilitators while promoting community-based educational empowerment. This study implies that the integration of SISDAMAS and PAR can serve as an alternative strategy for sustainable educational development in rural areas.

Abstract

Housewives in Beji Depok, play a central role as family cash flow managers but often face financial stress due to commodity price fluctuation and low financial literacy, leading to consumptive debt cycles. This community service program aims to enhance financial capability through intensive training on budget planning, debt snowball management, and emergency fund allocation. The method consists of three stages: coordination and observation; direct delivery of interactive financial protection lectures with specialized question and answer discussion sessions; and evaluation using a post-event satisfaction questionnaire. The outcomes showed a significant increase in financial comprehension and engagement among the 22 participants. The evaluation confirms that structured community training combined with two-way case discussions effectively builds financial resilience, equips families against predatory digital lending, and motivates consistent emergency savings at the grassroots level.

Abstract

The national energy transition toward renewable sources demands competent human resources, particularly at the vocational education level. This community service program aimed to enhance the photovoltaic solar panel system (PLTS) technology literacy among students in the Electrical Engineering Department of Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Jombang and Mojokerto Regencies. The program was implemented in two phases: (1) a classroom-based technical seminar covering the photovoltaic effect, key system components, MPPT and LiFePO4 technologies, DC current safety protocols, and power calculation methods; and (2) a field visit to the rooftop PLTS installation at PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo. Program effectiveness was measured using pre-test and post-test instruments via an AI-based digital quiz. Results demonstrated an average competency score increase from 63.5 to 93.7, with a combined Normalized Gain (N-Gain) of 0.82 (high category). SMKN 3 Jombang achieved a perfect N-Gain of 1.00, while SMKN 1 Pungging obtained an N-Gain of 0.52 (moderate). These findings indicate that an industry-based learning approach combining technical seminars with field observation significantly improves vocational students' technical competency. The program recommends strengthening industry-school partnerships as an effective and sustainable model for renewable energy technology knowledge transfer.

Abstract

Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergartens and Playgroups (TK/KB ABA) have been integral to the Aisyiyah movement’s early childhood education mission since 1919. Strengthening organizational ideology is essential for enhancing teachers’ professionalism and fostering children’s character development. This community service program addressed the varying levels of teachers’ understanding of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah (AIK) values, Aisyiyah ideology, and their integration into twenty-first-century learning. The program aimed to strengthen ideological understanding and professional competence through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach involving needs assessment, Baitul Arqam training, workshops on progressive Islamic learning design, mentoring, and continuous evaluation. The program involved 48 TK/KB ABA teachers affiliated with the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Teachers Association (IGABA) in Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Results showed a 41% increase in ideological understanding and a 37% improvement in professional competence, alongside enhanced ability to integrate tauhid, moral values, and modern science into contextual learning through a sustainable mentoring model.

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan mengembangkan cookies gadung tinggi serat sebagai cemilan sehat yang dapat mendukung program diet dan pencegahan obesitas di Desa Rora. Kegiatan diawali dengan pelatihan pengolahan gadung yang aman melalui proses perendaman, pencucian berulang, dan perebusan untuk menghilangkan racun alami. Selanjutnya, tepung gadung diformulasikan menjadi cookies bersama bahan berserat lain sehingga menghasilkan produk rendah kalori dan lebih mengenyangkan. Uji organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa cookies gadung diterima dengan baik oleh masyarakat dari segi rasa, aroma, dan tekstur. Sosialisasi mengenai manfaat konsumsi pangan tinggi serat serta uji coba pemasaran menunjukkan adanya potensi pengembangan usaha berbasis produk ini di desa. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa cookies gadung tidak hanya meningkatkan nilai tambah tanaman lokal, tetapi juga berperan sebagai alternatif cemilan sehat bagi masyarakat yang ingin menjaga berat badan dan menerapkan pola makan lebih baik. Program ini direkomendasikan untuk dikembangkan sebagai usaha berkelanjutan bagi warga Desa Rora.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pencatatan transaksi pada usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM), khususnya Toko Dua Putri di Kota Bima, melalui penerapan aplikasi kasir sederhana berbasis bahasa pemrograman C++ dengan penyimpanan data menggunakan format CSV. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan langsung, serta pendampingan dalam penggunaannya. aplikasi ini dirancang dengan antarmuka command-line agar mudah dioperasikan oleh pemilik toko tanpa latar belakang teknis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keteraturan pencatatan transaksi, pengelolaan stok barang, serta kemampuan pemilik toko dalam melakukan analisis penjualan. Format CSV dipilih karena fleksibilitas dan kompatibilitasnya dengan berbagai aplikasi pengelola data. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan dukungan berkelanjutan berupa panduan dan konsultasi, sehingga diharapkan dapat membantu UMKM dalam beradaptasi dengan digitalisasi dan meningkatkan daya saing usaha di era teknologi.

Abstract

Waste is one of the environmental problems that continues to grow alongside increasing consumer activity. Every day, people generate various types of waste, both organic and inorganic. One common example of inorganic waste is plastic and used cardboard, which take a long time to decompose naturally and thus have the potential to cause environmental pollution. Therefore, creative efforts are needed to reduce the amount of waste while increasing the utility of these used items. One possible solution is to repurpose cardboard waste into handmade crafts, such as tissue boxes, which offer both aesthetic and economic value. This activity was carried out on campus as part of a student learning practicum program, with student participants actively involved in the learning process—specifically in practice-based courses or community service activities. The activity took place in May 2026 and lasted approximately 3 days, covering stages ranging from observation and material collection to the product manufacturing process and evaluation of the activity’s outcomes. The method used was qualitative descriptive research with an experiential learning approach, involving students as active participants in the learning process. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation of the product-making process and interviews regarding technical challenges and opportunities for product development, and documentation of all stages of the activity. The data obtained were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The results of the activity showed that repurpose cardboard waste into tissue boxes can enhance students’ creativity, increase their knowledge of waste management, and produce products with aesthetic value and potential market value.
