Abstract

Program pengabdian berupa pelatihan arsiparis perpustakaan di SD Muhammadiyah Merauke disusun sebagai respon terhadap rendahnya kompetensi pengelolaan arsip di sekolah dasar daerah. Metodologi menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods, mencakup survei awal, analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan modul, implementasi melalui lokakarya, pendampingan, dan evaluasi hasil melalui perbandingan nilai pretest dan posttest. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, di mana nilai rata-rata peserta naik dari 52,4 menjadi 78,5, efektivitas indeksasi meningkat dari 40% menjadi 85%, serta rata-rata waktu pencarian arsip berkurang dari 5,2 menit menjadi 1,8 menit. Berdasarkan pembahasan, pelatihan berbasis partisipatif terbukti mengurangi resistensi terhadap teknologi, meski kendala infrastruktur masih ada, sehingga kesimpulannya pelatihan kontekstual ini efektif, berkelanjutan, dan layak direplikasi secara luas.

Abstract

Unequal access to international scholarship information remains a significant barrier in Indonesia. This community service program aimed to promote equitable scholarship literacy through a digital mentoring approach via the Tatra Academy platform. The program followed four stages: needs identification via Instagram, resource planning, online implementation via Zoom and YouTube, and demographic evaluation. Analysis of 1,102 cleaned registrants revealed a broad nationwide reach, including participants from frontier and underdeveloped (3T) regions. The program demonstrated high inclusivity across generations, engaging 369 participants under age 20 and 34 participants over age 40, supporting lifelong learning. The initial session on Hungary and Poland scholarships recorded the highest enthusiasm, followed by the AAS/MANAKI series and technical guides for essays and CVs. Findings show that digital platform integration effectively overcomes geographic barriers, democratizes information access, and supports inclusive human resource development.

Abstract

Cultural preservation is an important aspect that needs to be instilled from an early age. However, the condition at MI Muhammadiyah 07 Sungegeneng indicates limited student access to various forms of local cultural arts, where previous art activities were only confined to basic drawing and coloring. To address this issue, KKN Universitas Billfath Lamongan conducted Batik Shibori training to introduce the tie-dye technique, foster creativity, and promote character values such as cooperation, discipline, and responsibility. The training followed a systematic approach: material delivery, technical demonstration, hands-on practice, and evaluation. Involving 18 students divided into small groups, the activity saw high enthusiasm as participants actively folded, tied, and dyed fabric to create unique motifs like flowers and ornaments. The results indicate that the activity improved students’ technical understanding and artistic skills. Therefore, shibori batik can be considered an effective, engaging, and educational medium for cultural preservation and character development in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of the role of students in the SISDAMAS-based Community Service Program (KKN) as teaching facilitators in improving education in Tanggulun Village through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method by integrating PAR and SISDAMAS frameworks. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by semi-quantitative indicators and validated through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that all stages of the program, including socialization, social mapping, participatory planning, and implementation at kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school levels, were carried out in a participatory and collaborative manner. Educational activities such as storytelling programs, literacy sessions, and youth workshops contributed to increased student engagement, more interactive learning environments, and strengthened social values. These findings demonstrate that the integration of SISDAMAS and PAR is effective in optimizing the role of students as teaching facilitators while promoting community-based educational empowerment. This study implies that the integration of SISDAMAS and PAR can serve as an alternative strategy for sustainable educational development in rural areas.
