Abstract

This study aims to develop an application for learning to read the Qur'an based on artificial intelligence (AI) with a speech recognition method on the Android platform and evaluate the user experience. This study uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method with the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. This application has the main features of verse search, voice detection, and surah selection. The results of the performance test show that the application is able to detect and transcribe short verses of the Qur'an, although it has not been able to detect and transcribe long verses of the Qur'an. The feasibility test produced a score of 92.50% which shows that the application is very feasible to use where all application buttons function as expected. This application is expected to help Muslims in reading and memorizing the Qur'an, while overcoming the limitations of traditional learning methods by offering more interactive and personal learning methods.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the politeness of students' language in learning English in class X IPA MA Raudlatul Ulum Klampis. This study uses triangulation of theory and sources, and data analysis is carried out using data tabulation techniques, followed by data presentation, interpretation, and conclusions. The results of the study show that the form of politeness in the interaction of teachers with students and between students in English learning discussion activities in the MA Raudlatul Ulum class. The results of the data analysis and subsequent discussion contribute to the academic understanding of politeness and provide practical implications for effective communication in the English learning process, providing the audience with valuable insights that can be directly applied in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Fazlur Rahman's contextual interpretation method, known as the "Double Movement" approach, in bridging the teachings of the Qur'an with the needs of the modern era. The research employs a historical-critical method, linking the social, cultural, and historical contexts of revelation with the application of moral values in contemporary times. The findings reveal that this method, through its two main stages analyzing the historical context of revelation and applying moral principles to the present effectively provides a more relevant understanding of the Qur'anic teachings. Examples of its application to issues such as the prohibition of alcohol and polygamy underscore the importance of a gradual approach in addressing the social conditions of the time when the revelations were revealed. Fazlur Rahman also emphasizes the necessity of integrating theology, ethics, and law to address modern challenges without losing the essence of the Qur'an's universal values. The study concludes that this method offers an interpretation that is progressive, just, and aligned with contemporary developments.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in students' enthusiasm in using the Quizizz application in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI). The research was carried out on students at Raden Fatah High School in the odd semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The research method used was descriptive research using a quantitative approach, sampling was carried out using saturated sampling.  The results of the analysis show that students' understanding in using the Quizizz application is 76%, and from the results of this analysis it can be concluded that learning using the Quizizz application can influence students' enthusiasm for learning in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of organizational activity on the learning focus of students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Ar-Raniry. The quantitative research method is a descriptive approach, with the aim of describing the object of research or research results. The population in this study were all guidance and counseling students and the sample was only 28 guidance and counseling students. The results of the study showed that organizational activity and learning motivation simultaneously had a significant effect on academic achievement. Partially, organizational activity had a significant effect on academic achievement. Partially, learning motivation had a significant effect on academic achievement

Abstract

This study analyzes the comparative understanding of the position of women in classical and modern interpretations, as well as the social implications of these differences in interpretation in the context of contemporary Muslim society. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, involving analysis of classical interpretation books. The results of the study indicate that classical interpretations tend to interpret verses about women textually and normatively, focusing on domestic roles and household relations, while modern interpretations use a contextual and socio-historical approach that emphasizes gender equality and relevance to social reality. The conclusion of this study reveals that the development of interpretation from classical to modern reflects a paradigm shift from a literal understanding to a holistic understanding that is adaptive to social change. This study contributes to an inclusive Islamic discourse and supports gender justice in Islam

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the role and duties of educators from the perspective of Surah Al-Imran, verse 164. The research method is library research. This research focuses on the study of Surah Al-Imran verse 164. The researcher conducted an analysis of the content of the verse and presented a detailed description. Abstract

This article examines the concept of “jadal” in the Qur'an, which is a form of discussion or debate used as a means of communication and learning. The study is divided into several important parts. First, the theme of jaddal in the Qur'an is identified and analyzed, showing that jaddal is used to affirm the truth and guide humans towards a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings. Second, the purpose of jaddal is explained as a means of testing and strengthening faith, as well as encouraging humans to think critically and reflectively.Then, the article outlines the procedure of jaddal based on guidance from the Qur'an, which involves the use of rational arguments and thoughtful dialogue. The ethical evaluation of jadal according to the Qur'an emphasizes the importance of maintaining etiquette, honesty, and goodwill in any discussion. In this regard, jadal is seen as an activity that focuses not only on winning arguments, but also on discovering greater truths. The article also identifies the wisdom of jaddal in the Qur'an, namely as an educational tool that enriches religious understanding and strengthens social relations through constructive communication. Finally, the influence of jadal in Qur'anic interpretation is analyzed, showing that jadal can enrich interpretive perspectives and broaden religious understanding. With an analytical and critical approach, this article contributes to the academic literature by offering new insights into the role of jadal in theological and social dynamics in Islam, as well as its relevance in the context of modern society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the leadership role of the principal of SMAN 10 Batang Hari in managing the Independent Curriculum, as well as the supporting factors and obstacles encountered throughout its implementation. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design at the SMAN 10 Batang Hari educational unit. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, several subject teachers, the school committee, and observation of documentation related to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Independent Curriculum. Initial findings indicate that the principal's primary role includes strategic planning for the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, strengthening teacher capacity through ongoing professional development, and enhancing collaboration among various stakeholders. A transformational leadership style is considered important in building a shared vision, increasing staff commitment, and encouraging learning innovation. However, obstacles such as limited resources, resistance to curriculum change, and administrative challenges are also identified. Practical implications for school policymakers and suggestions for further research are presented to strengthen the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum at the senior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking in grade IV MI Walisongo students in science subjects, the research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), the design used in this study is the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model in the form of a cycle sequence. Plans (improvements), actions, and observations are then compiled based on reflection, and this process continues in the same way. The data analysis technique in this study uses quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is in the form of data in the form of student learning scores. While qualitative data is obtained during the learning process. The sample in this study is grade IV MI Walisongo students with a total of 19 students. The use of the inquiry method is able to improve critical thinking and student cooperation because in learning using the inquiry method, because the inquiry model actively involves students in problem solving and knowledge discovery. The results of this study indicate that the use of the inquiry method in science learning can improve critical thinking of grade IV MI Walisongo Belahanrejo students. Based on the results of observations of the implementation in cycle I, the average critical thinking of students was 73%, in cycle II the average critical thinking of students was 86%.
