Abstract

Creative Economy is one of the main drivers for improving community welfare, especially in rural areas. Because with the creative economy will make more productivity and empowerment for the community. This article describes the implementation of the mentoring program in the Tambak Lekok village area as an effort and endeavor to empower and improve community welfare. Mentoring is carried out through the development of skills, innovation, products based on local potential, and digital marketing as well as assistance related to business management. The results of this mentoring program can provide and show an increase in community income, business diversification and strengthening community capacity in facing economic challenges by utilizing digitalism.

Abstract

A prayer room is a worship facility that not only functions as a place for worship activities, but also functions as a center for social activities in community associations. This activity involved several local communities in Blooto village where planning, evaluation and implementation were previously held. This activity was carried out on 15 December 2023 - 21 April 2024 starting from laying the first stone until the inauguration of the building. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), where the community is directly involved in the process of laying the first stone until the inauguration. The results show an increase in the quality of facilities, religious and social activities, as well as close relationships with the community in mutual cooperation. This experience proves the important role of the prayer room as a facility and the community the importance of mutual cooperation, thereby creating conditions of harmony and faith.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sampah rumah tangga merupakan salah satu jenis sampah yang menjadi problematika masyarakat. Semakin bertambahnya aktifitas yang dilakukan, maka semakin banyak sampah yang di hasilkan, sehingga pengolahan sampah yang produktif sangat diperlukan. Pengolahan sampah dari masyarakat biasanya di lakukan secara konvensional, memerlukan waktu yang sangat lama bahkan ada yang di abaikan tanpa di pilah-pilih terlebih dahulu antara sampah organik dan anorganik. Metode Decomposer merupakan suatu inovasi pengolahan sampah dengan cara memanfaatkan sampah organik menjadi pupuk cair. Tujuannya yang ingin kami capai dalam kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat mempunyai keinginan dan ketrampilan dalam mengolah sampah organik menjadi pupuk cair. Hal ini dilakukan untuk membantu pemerintah daerah dalam upaya mengurangi jumlah sampah yang dikirim ke TPA Wonorejo Kab. Wonosobo. Kegiatan dilakukan di Desa Purwojati Kec. Kretek Kab. Wonosobo. Metode yang di gunakan adalah sosialisasi, demonstrasi dan implementasi. Sosialisasi dan presentasi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengolahan sampah organik di rumah tangga menjadi pupuk cair yang bisa di manfaatkan sebagai pupuk pertanian sehingga mengurangi jumlah sampah yang dikirim ke TPA Wonorejo. Demonstrasi dilakukan dengan melibatkan masyarakat tentang praktek pembuatan decomposer menjadi pupuk cair. Kegiatan ini mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat dan perangkat desa karena dapat mengurangi sampah. Hasil kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terkait pengelolaan sampah organik dan memahami teknik pengolahan sampah organik menjadi pupuk cair mulai dari pembuatan komposer, menambahkan cairan-cairan fermentasi bahan organik, sampai dengan proses pembusukan.

Abstract

Healthy school training for teachers at Darunnajah Islamic Kindergarten is a strategic effort to improve the quality of a healthy, safe, and comfortable learning environment for early childhood. Teachers have an important role in instilling healthy living habits and creating a school environment that supports children's physical, mental, and social development. This training aims to provide insight to teachers about the importance of healthy schools as well as concrete steps in realizing them. The training method includes lectures, discussions and questions and answers, simulations, and evaluations. The results of the training showed that teachers experienced an increase in understanding in implementing the concept of healthy schools in schools. With this training, it is hoped that a sustainable healthy school culture will be created, so that children can grow and develop optimally in an environment that supports their welfare

Abstract

The community service program implemented in the form of Community Service Learning (KKN) aims to assist the community in enhancing their understanding of religious knowledge and literacy skills. Additionally, this community service seeks to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among community members and between the academic world and the community. This service is carried out through social activities within the local community. The students also collaborate with the Al-Qur'an Education Park Foundation (TPQ) al-Bait al-Jamil to provide tutoring sessions for the community. The approach to these activities includes teaching religious materials, conducting language classes, and introducing literacy in both digital and non-digital forms. Furthermore, this program provides parenting workshops for parents on how to educate their children and develop their creativity in ways that align with Islamic teachings. The results of the implementation of this community service activity show that community members, including parents and school children from elementary and secondary levels, participate enthusiastically in the learning of religious knowledge and literacy. Finally, the evaluation of this project revealed that there are some social conflicts amongts the residents in the area due to a gap in their occupational backgrounds. This may bring the disparity in this community. Hence, by this community service hopefully would help them to strengthen their relationship

Abstract

Dibak's birthday activities are a religious tradition that has long been carried out in Tambak Lekok Village, Sanggaran. This tradition is a symbol of religious and cultural identity that is passed down from generation to generation. However, modernization, globalization and changes in people's lifestyles have become challenges in preserving this tradition. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to provide routine assistance in the implementation of Maulid Dibak as an effort to preserve religious traditions. The methods used include regular outreach, training and mentoring involving religious leaders, youth and the wider community. The results of this activity show increased community participation, especially the younger generation, in religious activities as well as a deeper understanding of the cultural and spiritual values ??contained in Maulid Dibak. With routine assistance, it is hoped that this religious tradition can continue to be preserved amidst the increasingly rapid flow of modernization.

Abstract

: Education plays a crucial role in improving quality of life and providing better future opportunities. However, the Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) phenomenon and the high rate of early marriage remain significant challenges, particularly in West Java. The Community Service Program (KKN) in Cibodas Village aimed to raise awareness among students of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Bahriyatussa’adah about the importance of education in preventing early marriage through a talk show titled “Preventing Early Marriage, Creating a Bright Future Through Education”. This activity employed survey-based and interactive counseling methods, featuring expert speakers in marriage law and education. The results indicated an increased awareness among students regarding the importance of higher education and the opportunities available to them after graduation. This program is expected to shift students' and the community's mindset, thereby reducing early marriage rates and increasing participation in higher education.

Abstract

This study examines the significance of Arabic language acquisition in enhancing communicative competence and deepening comprehension of Islamic literary sources, particularly the Qur'an and Hadith. Through a structured training program involving 10 students at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), the research employed a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. The intervention featured diagnostic pre-tests, instructional delivery, and summative post-tests, supplemented by structured participant feedback. Results demonstrated statistically significant improvements in oral proficiency, though identified temporal constraints and material coverage limitations as key challenges. The study proposes extending program duration and developing more interactive pedagogical resources for future implementations. These findings contribute to Arabic language pedagogy by offering a replicable instructional model with potential applications across higher education institutions, while emphasizing the importance of sustained professional development for optimal language acquisition outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the efforts to raise public awareness in tackling the impact of online gambling in Indonesia through education and counseling. The development of digital technology has led to an increase in harmful online gambling practices, both socially and economically. The research approach uses a qualitative method with case studies, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and participatory observation in various affected communities. The results show that education plays a significant role in increasing public awareness of the risks of online gambling, particularly through character education programs, digital literacy, and community-based interventions. Counseling, both individually and in groups, has proven effective in helping individuals caught up in online gambling to recover and reduce social stigma. An inclusive approach, using both digital media and face-to-face methods, is expected to improve the effectiveness of rehabilitation and encourage greater participation in online gambling rehabilitation programs.

Abstract

The Cheerful Orphan Care Forum in Jurumudi Village, Tangerang City, is a social institution that focuses on the empowerment of orphans through character education programs, life skills, and religious teaching. This study aims to evaluate the impact of these programs on the development of orphans in the forum. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the character education program has succeeded in shaping orphans to become more independent, disciplined, and caring individuals for others. Skills training such as computers and English provide orphans with skills that are very useful for their future, while religious teaching reinforces moral and ethical values in everyday life. Although these programs have a positive impact, challenges related to limited resources such as funds, facilities, and teaching staff remain major obstacles. Therefore, stronger collaboration is needed between social institutions, governments, communities, and the private sector to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of these programs. It is hoped that through increased support and resources, the Cheerful Orphan Care Forum can continue to grow and have a wider positive impact on orphans, as well as become an empowerment model that can be applied in various regions in Indonesia.
