Abstract

Students feel that P5 activities are exciting and fun because they are instructed to memorize gymnastic movements and musical drama dialogues, and they can enjoy the activities that are carried out. Students get perceived benefits from gymnastics and musical drama exercises. Obstacles or difficulties during P5 activities are difficulties finding the property, generally in finding a place with a relatively low price. Skills homed in P5 activities include skills to train cohesiveness in teamwork because activities focus on collaborative activities. P5 activities are carried out with an allocation of time for two consecutive weeks without involving other academic activities. This schedule selection makes students feel unburdened or pressured to work on the P5 final project and can complete it with focus.

Abstract

Literacy is one of the fundamental skills students must have to face the challenges of the 21st century. Literacy skills are limited to reading, writing, and creating work. One of the School Literacy Movement programs conducted at senior high school is through the implementation of the SIKARYA program. The purpose of this study was to determine how the profile of the implementation of the SIKARYA program at senior high school improved literacy and fostered students' interest in writing literary works. This study used a descriptive qualitative method to describe the SIKARYA program implemented at senior high school in depth. The results of this study obtained various information about the profile of the SIKARYA program. The SIKARYA program begins with socialization activities on Friday. Literacy activities: After socialization, students will be given material about the literary works they create. The implementation of the SIKARYA program this year is only focused on making poetry and short stories. The existence of this SIKARYA program motivates students to create literary works and fosters enthusiasm and new experiences. However, many students need more interest in making this literary work. Therefore, this program should be held again, with other strategies to attract students' interest.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengetahui pengembangan modul praktikum biologi umum berbasis case method untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunnakan yaitu  metode Reseasch and Development (RD) yang mengacu pada model 4D Thiagarahajan et al., (1974) yang sudah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini berupa produk modul praktikum biologi umum berbasis case method yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains. Hasil validasi menunjukan bahwa modul praktikum biologi umum berbasis case method memiliki tingkat kevalidan pada kriteria baik dengan perolehan presentasi sebesar 84,8 terdapat beberapa catatan perbaikan untuk dapat menyempurnakan pengembangan modul praktikum yang sedang dikembangkan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa modul praktikum biologi umum berbasis case method unntuk meningkatakan keterampilan proses sains layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran praktikum pada mata kuliah biologi umum. Selain itu peningkatan hasil pre-test dan post-test keterampilan proses sains dalam implementasi modul praktkum ini diperoleh peningkatan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahui strategi mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran melalui AlFath Belajar, (2) Untuk mengetahui kualitas pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dalam mengimplementasikan kompetensi pedagogik Guru IPS di SMP, (3) Untuk mengetahui Strategi Guru IPS di salah satu SMP swasta di Tangerang Selatan dalam Menghadapi Faktor Penghambat Pelaksanaan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran di Al-Fath Belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMP swasta di Cirendeu, Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (RD), dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Robert Maribe Branch. Yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah modul pembelajaran berupa perangkat ajar dan Worksheet. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa/i SMP kelas 8 berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran adalah layak untuk di kembangkan dan digunakan untuk pengajaran guru dalam hal penguatan pedagogik dan pembelajaran siswa dengan pembelajaran mandiri melalui Al-Fath Belajar. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil validasi ahli media terhadap perangkat ajar (RPP) dengan rerata skor sebesar 3,73 atau dalam bentuk persentase sebesar 93.34% dengan kriteria kelayakan sangan baik atau sangat layak untuk digunakan pengajaran guru. Hasil dari penilaian validasi untuk Worksheet dengan rerata skor sebesar 3.78 atau dalam bentuk persentase sebesar 94.55% dengan kriteria kelayakan sangat baik atau sangat layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran siswa. Perangkat pembelajaran juga tergolong praktis dan efektif dengan respon siswa dengan nilai rerata sebesar 3.32 atau 86.73%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan sehingga dapat digunakan untuk pengajaran dan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS khususnya materi tentang Negara ASEAN.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji buku teks bahasa Inggris berjudul Symphony 1 kelas 10 SMA di Kurikulum Merdeka. Tujuan dari analisis ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kelebihan dan kekurangan buku tersebut berdasarkan item tujuan, pendekatan, isi bahasa, keterampilan, topik, metodologi, dan pertimbangan praktis yang ditetapkan oleh teori Cunningsworth (1995). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif yang memadukan analisis isi dan penelitian tekstual. Buku teks Bahasa Inggris Symphony 1 memiliki sembilan bab yang berkaitan dengan subjek penelitian ini. Penulis membuat tabel dan mengevaluasi setiap item berdasarkan teori Cunningsworth (1995) saat mengumpulkan data. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan membagi jumlah kriteria yang terpenuhi dengan jumlah kriteria masing-masing item dan kemudian dikalikan 100 %. Dari setiap item tersebut penulis mendapatkan kelebihan dan kekurangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar Symphony 1 memenuhi rata-rata 73.75 persen dengan kategori "Cukup Baik" dengan item tujuan dan pendekatan (100%), design dan susunan (66.67%), konten Bahasa (60%), keterampilan (80%), topik (83.33%), metodologi (100%), buku guru (0%) dan pertimbangan praktis (100%) serta mempunyai kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing di dalam.

Abstract

This study aimed to discuss the effectiveness of Shibori creative art in fostering self-love and self-esteem as a means to empower women's roles. The study was conducted at RPTRA Kayu Manis, North Jakarta, with Shibori art treatment. The number of respondents involved was 10 people, aged 25-50 years, women with junior and high school education levels. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of the participants' work and quantitative data from pre-test and post-test experiments on the self-love measurement scale with a reliability value of the self-love measurement scale, r = 0.89 and a validity value of Cronbach's Alpha 0.7, and a self-esteem measurement scale with a reliability value of the self-esteem measurement tool r = 0.82 and a validity value of Cronbach's Alpha = 0.81. The paired T-test results showed significant improvements in both aspects, with self-love increasing by 4.2 points (t=6.89, p0.001) and self-esteem increasing by 5.3 points (t=9.81, p0.001), with a large effect size (Cohen's d 2). Supporting factors such as freedom of expression, meditative nature, and pride in one's work played a crucial role. However, the complexity of the technique, the tendency towards self-judgment, and time constraints can hinder its effectiveness. For optimization, recommendations include modifying the technique (e.g., using a simpler method), integrating cognitive reflection, and grouping participants according to ability level.

Abstract

The research uses a qualitative method based on research-led practice to explore capital typography (uppercase letters) as a medium for art creation as well as cultural education. The focus of the research includes analysis of motifs, techniques, colors, and materials, with data sources obtained from sources (craftsmen, designers, cultural experts), literature studies, and visual documentation. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires (target: students/community), and creative experiments.  The ecoprint technique, or eco-printing, is a method of dyeing fabric with natural dyes. In this study, the ecoprint technique, which applies natural dyes to fabric, focused on works featuring capital typography—particularly complex letters like G, Q, and O—to emphasize the value of precision and patience in the craft. The technical challenges of letter formation were utilized as a means of recognizing local wisdom, with each stage documented and critically reflected upon. The resulting work is not only assessed in terms of aesthetics, but also its educational function, namely as a cultural learning tool through a visual approach.  Validation involved design experts, educators, and cultural communities to ensure the suitability of the work to the social context. The results show that capital typography can be an effective bridge between art and cultural education, with applicable outputs such as interactive workshops or exhibitions. Audience surveys revealed an increased understanding of cultural values after interaction with the works.  This research contributes to the field of cultural preservation through design innovation and a fun, non-formal education model. The implication is that a similar approach can be replicated for other cultural elements, strengthening local identity as well as attracting the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore high school students' understanding of Newton's laws of motion. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through a two-tier diagnostic test. The instrument not only measures correct answers but also explores the reasons behind students' choices. Data analysis was conducted by dividing students' understanding into four categories: (1) Understanding the concept; (2) Misconception; (3) Not understanding the concept; and (4) Guessing. The results showed that students understood the concept of changes in velocity due to changes in the direction of force, with 56.2% of students understanding the concept. The largest misconception was found in the subtopic of Newton's Third Law, which reached 68.5%. Meanwhile, the percentage of students who did not understand the concept was lower than that of students who had misconceptions in all subtopics. These findings confirm that the majority of students did not understand the concept, but had initial understandings that were unscientific or inappropriate. Therefore, teachers need to prepare learning strategies that are not only informative but also reinforce concepts.
