Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes by using the based learning model in class IV of SDN 101802 Namorambe. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, the population of this study were Catholic students in class III of SDN 101802 Namorambe totaling 8 students consisting of 4 males and 4 females. Sampling using purposive sampling and the sample used was class III totaling 8 students. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes using the based learning model are included in the very good category seen that the average post-test score of the best students at the cycle I stage was 65,6 then increased to 86,5 in the post-test cycle II and the smallest students at the Cycle 1 stage were 50 then increased to 79. This shows that there is a significant positive influence of the use of based learning on student learning outcomes in the subject of Catholic Religious Education in class III of SDN 101802 Namorambe.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of the 7th-grade class at SMP Negeri 5 Sumbul in Catholic Religion and Character, especially in the material "I am the Unique Image of God" through applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method. The research focuses on developing students' understanding of the uniqueness of themselves as the Image of God while instilling the values ​​of Pancasila. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data is collected through observation, learning results tests, and attitude assessments that reflect the Pancasila Student Profile. The research results showed a significant increase in students' learning and understanding of the material "I am the Unique Image of God." In the pre-cycle, the average student score was below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) with 8 students, of which 5 students did not complete 62.5% and 3 students completed 37.5%. After implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method which was integrated with the Pancasila Student Profile, there was an increase in the first dan second cycles, with the second cycle showing the achievement of the set targets. Apart from academic improvements, this research also shows positive developments in aspects of the Pancasila Student Profile, such as having faith, being devoted to God Almighty, having a noble character; Global Diversity; Working together; being Independent; Critical Reasoning; and being Creative. The application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method is effective in improving student learning outcomes in learning Catholic Religious Education and Character, especially in the material "I am the Unique Image of God" in the 7th-grade class of SMP Negeri 5 Sumbul.

Abstract

This research is conducted with the aim of improving the learning outcomes of students by using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model for the students in grade IV Phase B of SDS DAKWATUL ISLAM in the academic year 2023/2024." The learning outcomes referred to in this research include abilities in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The type of research conducted is classroom action research (CAR)." The research design uses the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The subjects of this study are the students in Grade IV Phase B of SDS DAKWATUL ISLAM, which consists of 7 students." The object of the research is the learning outcomes of the students. Data collection techniques utilize both test and non-test methods." The conclusion drawn from this research is that using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method can effectively support the learning process, enabling the learning objectives to be achieved successfully."

Abstract

There are still students of SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari, who have not fulfilled the expectations of the school's vision and mission which is to create people who believe and fear God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens. This is evident in the fact that there are still students whose learning outcomes are low. To improve PAK learning outcomes, we tried using canva media in Problem Based Learning. To answer this problem, the researcher used an experimental method with 2 cycles using test and observation instruments. With research using qualitative descriptive data analysis methods. Based on the data obtained, the percentage of student learning outcomes in cycle I is 22% decent, 56% proficient and 22% advanced, which shows that there are still 2 children who need remedial. In cycle II, with canva media, learning outcomes increased to 0% feasible, 11% proficient and 89% advanced. This shows Problem Based Learning can improve critical thinking and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aim of this Classroom Action Research is to find out and measure whether or not the students of class The research subjects were 13 class XI students of SMA N 1 Siantar Narumonda, consisting of 5 men and 8 women. The object of the research is the learning outcomes and student independence in learning Catholic Religion and Ethics in teaching module 1 "The Church as God's people" and improvements in teaching module 2 "Church and the world". With data collection techniques, namely observation, documentation and tests. The results of the research show that there is an increase in learning outcomes and independence for Class The increase in learning outcomes and independence is proven by the average score for increasing independence in cycle I of 60.5% and in cycle II it increased by 25%, namely 85.5%. And the increase in learning outcomes in cycle 1 was 67% and in cycle II it increased by 27%, namely 94%.

Abstract

Education is a need that must be met by every individual and is an inseparable part of all human activities. In all conditions, humans cannot avoid the impact of the application of education in everyday life. The subjects of the study were fourth grade students in an elementary school. This study aims to improve students' self-efficacy and learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education and Character Education through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, focusing on students' cognitive and affective development. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' self-efficacy, with an average increase of 10.81%, as well as an increase in involvement and positive attitudes in the learning process. And the increase in learning outcomes was 15.91%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education and Character Education using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by PowerPoint media at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung, Phase E. This research is classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of several stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The first cycle covers the topic "I am the Image of God," and the second cycle addresses "Developing God’s Gifts." The subjects of this study are students in class X Phase E at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 6 students. The data collection techniques used are written tests and observations. Based on the research results, the overall average of observations shows significant improvement, from 72 in Cycle I to 84 in Cycle II. This improvement indicates that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by PowerPoint media is effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes and critical thinking skills. Descriptive statistical data regarding the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education show a significant increase in the average student score from Cycle I to Cycle II, from 80 to 90, with a total score change of 60 points. This indicates that most students experienced improvement, with Isai Steven recording the highest change of 20 points, while one student, Tarigan Veri Karunianta, maintained the same score. The implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by PowerPoint media in Cycle II seems to have successfully improved students' learning outcomes, as they were more engaged in the learning process and able to complete the challenges presented more effectively. Overall, this reflects the effectiveness of the teaching method used in the second cycle.

Abstract

The low learning achievement of students in working together and overcoming subject matter problems related to daily life in Catholic Religion and Character lessons causes the achievement of learning outcomes to be low. The aim of this Classroom Action Research is to: determine the increase in the dimensions of mutual cooperation and learning achievement in learning using the Problem Based Learning Method. This classroom action research is divided into four stages, namely planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection and is carried out in 2 cycles. The research subjects were students at SD Negeri 17 Nusa Poring with a total of 10 students. Indicators for observing aspects of the mutual cooperation dimension are caring, collaboration and sharing. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of Class IV students in the material "I Developed My Abilities as a Man and a Woman, namely an increase in the dimensions of mutual cooperation character using the PBL method from cycle I, which was 65% to cycle II, which was 90%. There was also an increase in the average learning achievement in cycle 1 from 70% to 87% in cycle II. Conclusion: The dimensions of mutual cooperation in the learning process using the PBL method are able to increase the achievement target at a proficient level of 90%, proficient 10% worthy of 0%, just developing 0%.

Abstract

This research aims to reminded student learning outcomes and determine the ability of the teachers to manage in learning through the problem-based learning model in PAK grade VII-C SMP Negeri 6 Tempunak. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which consist of two cycles. The research subject of students in grade VII-C SMP Negeri 6 Tempunak amounted to thirty-two students consisting of seventeen male students and fifteen female students. The data collection technique in this study uses observation, test and documentation. The result of study was that the average score of students in the first cycle was seventy-two percent then increased eighty-one percent in the second cycle. The improvement was seen significantly for students who needed attention and guidance from teachers and classmates. This can be seen from the fact that number of students has increase quite a bit by fourty-one percent. This means that, if the PBL learning model is implements properly and consistently, it will improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education among fifth-grade students at SDN 26 Simanindo Sangkal using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model supported by the Wordwall Game as an interactive media. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle involving stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The primary focus was on assessing students' cognitive learning outcomes and critical thinking skills, aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile. The results of the research demonstrated a significant improvement in student performance. In the first cycle, the average cognitive score was 80.71, which increased to 91.43 in the second cycle. Additionally, students showed increased engagement in asking relevant questions, identifying key information from various sources, and formulating conclusions, which are critical elements of critical thinking. The use of the Wordwall Game successfully enhanced the learning process by making it more interactive and motivating for students. In conclusion, the implementation of the PBL model with the assistance of the Wordwall Game proved to be effective in enhancing both the cognitive learning outcomes and the critical thinking skills of students in Catholic Religious Education.
