In the world of education, students' English skills cannot be separated from the learning process provided by teachers. Lecturers, as instructors, strive to provide the best teaching and learning process for their students. English is a course that develops oral and written communication skills, understanding and expressing information. This course is no longer just a grammar course but can also develop students' English communication skills both orally and in writing. For this reason, a creative approach is needed to help students be more active and interesting in learning English. One of the methods proposed by the speakers is to learn English using audio-visual media, including videos, movies and music. In teaching English materials, using this learning material is one of the appropriate learning materials to use. The purpose of this review is to provide strategies for using audiovisual media to improve students' English learning outcomes. Technically, the strategy for using audiovisual media in the process of teaching and learning English is divided into 3 stages: preparation, use and the final stage is monitoring after use. This strategic use of media will make learning English more effective, interactive and enjoyable. Teachers will be more optimal in presenting material and students will understand the lesson more easily.

This research aims to analyze trends and challenges in technology based on language assessment for students. Technology assessment is an assessment related to media and advanced electronics such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and so on. The method that the author uses is the SLR method or Systematic Literature Review, where in the process of creating this journal, the author collects all the data that the author selects and the author enters it into this journal. The advanced technology trends that the author uses are the Quizizz and Electronic Assessment applications, both of which have many uses in helping educators assess student performance and skills. However, this is not necessarily just an advantage, but in these two technologies there are challenges that are difficult to control and students often lack self-confidence regarding the value they get from implementing the technology. So this technology has two different properties, namely that it can be useful but also has its own negative impacts.

The hamburger strategy is a writing organization strategy that visually outlines the key components of a paragraph. When writing using the hamburger strategy, students will learn to remember how to build paragraphs and the importance of each component. This study was conducted using an experimental quantitative method. The population of this study was grade 11 students of Madrasah Aliyah Nururrodhiyah Jambi City. The researcher took 40 students as a sample and they were divided into two groups using total sampling. The first group was class XI A as an experimental class taught by implementing the hamburger strategy, while the second group was class XI B as a control class taught using conventional methods. This test consists of two types, namely Pre-Test and Post-Test. Data were analyzed using the T-Test formula on SPSS version 25. The results of the Independent Samples and Paired t tests. The average results of the same group taught using the Hamburger Strategy got a score of 0.000 which can be seen from the hypothesis criteria if the results are less than 0.05, it means Ha is rejected. And the results of the independent sample t-test showed an average difference of 68.700 and significant 2-tailed ≤ 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05). It can be concluded that there is no significant difference in influence on students' writing ability between students taught with the Hamburger Strategy and students taught with conventional techniques or from teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Nururrodhiyah Jambi City. Language learning is related to the first language and to the second language. (Meilan, A:2014). The process of acquiring a second language can be influenced by natural process, social, motivation and language attitude. Moreover, language can be acquired through education and learning. It is debatable topics that age has an important role in learning language. Some initial studies found that children are in the critical period, therefore they can learn and acquire language faster. However, some initial studies found that the decline in students' memory is related to age. Age is not a measure of success in mastering a second/foreign language other than the mother tongue, as long as the person has the desire to use the foreign language or second language for integration and socialization purposes.
