Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Amin adalah Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Dasar berisi tulisan tentang gagasan konseptual, kajian dan penerapan teori, penulisan praktis, dan hasil penelitian pendidikan dan pengajaran sekolah dasar. Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Amin menjadi wadah bagi peneliti, guru, dosen dan pemerhati pendidikan. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali per tahun yaitu bulan April dan Oktober.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the completeness of the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 03 Karya Sakti in the 2025/2026 academic year after implementing the Two Stay Two Stray learning model. The research method used is the Pre-Experimental Design method. With a population of all fifth-grade students totaling 20 students determined by saturated sampling. The data collection technique uses a multiple-choice test with 20 questions. The collected data was analyzed using the Z test. Based on the results of the research and discussion, an average score of 77.81 was obtained with learning completion of 85%. Based on the results of the Z test analysis at a significance level of α = 0.05, Z count 4.21 > Z table 1.64 was obtained, which shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So, it can be concluded that the results of the science learning of Class V students of SD Negeri 03 Karya Sakti using the Two Stay Two Stray learning model assisted by Mind Mapping were significantly complete.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low Arabic speaking skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students due to the use of monotonous teaching methods, which made students less active, hesitant, and lacking confidence in speaking. Therefore, this research aimed to improve students’ Arabic speaking skills through the implementation of the Total Physical Response (TPR) method. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, with data collected through oral performance tests to assess speaking skills, as well as observation and documentation to evaluate teacher and student activities. The results indicated significant improvement in students’ speaking skills across cycles. The average score in the pre-cycle was 54.09 with 31.82% mastery, increasing to 66.14 with 54.54% mastery in cycle I, and reaching 72.05 with 81.82% mastery in cycle II. The findings also showed that the TPR method enhanced students’ confidence, activeness, and ability to imitate vocabulary and sentence patterns with clearer pronunciation. In conclusion, the TPR method is effective in improving Arabic speaking skills among fifth-grade students at MIS Borosole.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using digital educational games on the understanding of science concepts among fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Gunungsari. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (nonequivalent control group design). The sample consists of two classes: the experimental class used the educational game "Besaku", while the control class used conventional methods. The instruments used were pretest and posttest questions, student activity observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The independent sample t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means there is a significant effect of using educational games on students' understanding of science concepts. Observations showed students were more active during the learning process, and the questionnaire revealed positive responses to the use of game-based media. The interactive learning flow in the "Besaku" game, which includes material presentation, simulations, quizzes, and digital rewards, proved to support meaningful conceptual understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and academic achievement of fifth-grade students of SDN 1 Sandik, Batulayar District, West Lombok Regency. The data source of this study was 22 fifth-grade students. Data collection was carried out using observation, questionnaires, and documentation methods. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation test analysis. In order to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and academic achievement. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between parenting patterns and student academic achievement. The results showed that: positive and supportive parenting patterns from parents tend to encourage students to achieve better academic achievement, less supportive parenting patterns can hinder achievement, active parental involvement in accompanying children studying at home is an important factor in improving student academic achievement.

Abstract

Health students' knowledge of the prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) is essential to support their role as health workers in the future. This study aims to analyze the influence of learning Microbiology courses on increasing health students' knowledge about STD prevention. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach. The research sample was 60 students in the two semester of the DIII Pharmacy study program, Bima International University, MFH, selected by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a knowledge questionnaire about STDs. The data was analyzed by the paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant increase in student knowledge after participating in Microbiology learning (p < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that learning Microbiology has a positive effect on increasing health students' knowledge about STD prevention.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and illustrate the effect of bullying on children's character development. A quantitative approach was employed in this research. The population consisted of 256 students, with a sample of 27 respondents selected through purposive sampling from students at SD Negeri 25 Kota Pagar Alam. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS version 23 using the T-test method.The results indicated that bullying does not have a significant effect on children's character development, particularly regarding self-confidence. The significance value was 0.946, which exceeds the 0.05 threshold, indicating no significant influence of variable X (bullying) on variable Y (self-confidence). Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) was -0.040, showing that only around 4% of the variation in students' self-confidence could be attributed to verbal bullying. This suggests a negligible or non-existent relationship between bullying and self-confidence.

Abstract

Using a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, this study investigates the Pancasila Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5RA) implementation at MI Ar Raudlah Sukorambi Jember in the context of the Independent Curriculum and its relevance to the P5RA. The findings show that the P5RA guidelines must be followed when implementing P5RA. Students, staff, and facilities presented obstacles for MI Ar Raudlah, but they were overcome to the best of the school's ability. In addition to offering a P5RA implementation strategy that other schools might use, this study adds to the body of knowledge on character education.

Abstract

Understanding the concept of integers is a basic competency that prospective Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers must possess. However, many PGMI students still experience difficulties in mastering this concept in depth, which has the potential to hinder their readiness to teach mathematics at the elementary level. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach involving 15 sixth-semester PGMI students as participants. Data were collected through open- ended diagnostic tests, in-depth interviews, and document analysis of lesson plans. Data analysis techniques employed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that students experience difficulties in understanding the meaning of negative numbers, mixed operations with integers, and the use of number line representations. These misconceptions result in inaccuracies in developing learning strategies, low self-confidence when teaching, and an inability to explain concepts coherently to students. These findings highlight the importance of conceptual reinforcement in basic mathematics education at PGMI, as well as the need for a more applied and contextual approach in teaching integer concepts. Recommendations are directed toward the development of conceptual learning modules based on problem-solving and visual representations.

Abstract

Complex conditions known as learning difficulties can make it challenging for students to effectively learn, retain, and apply information. These difficulties frequently cause a discrepancy between a student's actual academic achievement and their intellectual potential. The purpose of this study is to investigate the definition, types, causes, and potential remedies for students' learning challenges. Using a literature review methodology, the study consults a number of pertinent scholarly sources. The results show that dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia are common learning disabilities that can be caused by both external (family, school, and social) and internal (brain function disorders, genetic influences, and lack of interest or talent) factors. Identification, diagnosis, and prognosis are the first steps in addressing these issues. Tutoring and remedial education are then used to provide support and therapy. According to the study's findings, helping students realize their full potential requires a thorough grasp of the underlying causes and the application of suitable intervention techniques.

Abstract

Education is an essential means of improving the quality of human resources to ensure the continuity of a nation. The use of appropriate learning models can foster students’ enjoyment of a subject, thereby increasing their motivation to complete assignments and making it easier for them to understand the lesson, which in turn leads to better learning outcomes. The Pair-Checks learning model is one of many strategies that teachers can implement to improve the quality of instruction. This study uses an experimental method with a quantitative approach, aiming to test the effect of a treatment on another variable under controlled conditions. Based on the research findings, the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Tugu Sempurna in the subject of IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) reached the expected level after the implementation of the Pair-Checks learning model.
