Abstract

This article delves into the structural analysis of "Temanku Sayang Temanku Malang (Ken Kembalilah Seperti Dulu)", a drama script penned by Elsa Pebriyanti. The study aims to identify and examine the various structural elements that contribute to the overall narrative and thematic impact of the play. Through a critical analysis of the script, this research explores the ways in which Pebriyanti employs structural devices such as plot structure, character development, dialogue, and stage directions to convey the story's themes and messages. The analysis reveals that the script's narrative structure is characterized by a non-linear progression, with multiple flashbacks and flashforwards that blur the lines between past and present. This non-linear approach allows Pebriyanti to explore the complexities of human relationships and the consequences of past actions on the present. Furthermore, the study highlights the effective use of character development, particularly in the portrayal of the protagonist, whose emotional journey serves as a catalyst for the story's themes of love, loss, and redemption. The analysis also examines the role of dialogue in shaping the characters' personalities and relationships, as well as the ways in which stage directions contribute to the overall atmosphere and mood of the play. Additionally, the study discusses the significance of the play's title and its relationship to the themes and plot, highlighting the ways in which Pebriyanti uses the title to set the tone for the audience's engagement with the story. Ultimately, this research demonstrates that the structural elements of "Temanku Sayang Temanku Malang (Ken Kembalilah Seperti Dulu)" are carefully crafted to create a rich and nuanced narrative that explores the complexities of human relationships and the power of love and redemption. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of the script's structural dynamics and their impact on the audience's experience of the play.

Abstract

The play Laa tagdhob by Azis Moa contains various types of emotions from each character, however, Dadang and Dudung are more dominant characters where they are the main characters of the story. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The qualitative descriptive method is a research method that is decomposed in the form of words not numbers and also develops an inductive mindset so that in the process of answering a problem it does not necessarily rest on theories, axioms, and principles as existing truths, but on facts that arise naturally in the field. The purpose of this research is to find out the emotions in the text and then classify them using Boeree's emotion theory. The data collection technique is content analysis whose data source is from the play Laa Tagdhob by Azis Moa. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a literary psychology approach which focuses on classifying the emotions of the two main characters in the play Laa Tagdhob. This literary psychology theory is used to analyze the formulation of research problems. The results of the research that have been carried out based on the data in the Laa Tagdhob drama script found 7 classifications of emotions from the two characters Dadang and Dudung, namely the family of surprise, fear, anger, sadness, desire, happiness, and boredom.

Abstract

Sociolinguistics is the study or discussion of language in relation to its speakers as members of society. Diglossia is a linguistic phenomenon where a society uses two different languages in its daily life: a high variety and a low variety. High variance is usually used in formal situations such as government, media, and education, while low variance is used in informal situations such as everyday conversation. In terms of daily conversation, the diglossia system can have a very prominent impact on change due to environmental factors. We researched this by interviewing several students from the Darul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School. Then, from an educational perspective, the Diglosia system can have a significant impact on language teaching in schools and student academic achievement at SMAN 1 Cigalontang. This research uses a qualitative method with a narrative research approach that focuses on individual research, using the interview method. This diglossia affects education and has an impact on students' academic achievement.

Abstract

Language is an important tool in human communication, which involves language skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. Listening skills, in particular, are an important aspect of interpersonal communication, which involves using the senses to understand the message conveyed. This ability is needed to obtain information and understand the meaning of oral communication. Although listening skills develop naturally, this also requires practice and hard work. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and questionnaire techniques to evaluate the use of the Listen to Work (SK) technique and lectures in learning to listen to short story texts. The results showed that SK was effective in enabling students' active participation, while lecture was efficient in conveying information directly. However, both methods have their drawbacks, such as the time required and lack of direct interaction. It is recommended to integrate the two methods wisely in designing learning to listen to short story texts. Teachers can start with a lecture session to convey basic concepts, followed by SK activities that allow students to apply those concepts. In this way, students can gain a deep understanding while remaining actively involved in learning.

Abstract

To realize the mandate in Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, the government always carries out reforms that are adapted to the needs of the times. Before the National Assessment, the student evaluation system from a cognitive perspective was known as the National Examination. The implementation of the national exam using the UNKP system is considered to have several technical shortcomings, namely "the exam participants' answer papers are not allowed to get wet, folded, torn so that the answers to the exam questions that are rumored to be spread out cause students as exam participants to become unfocused and often reduce student motivation. To overcome this problem, the Government has begun implementing a computer-based education evaluation system or Computer Based Test (CBT). In its implementation, the computer-based examination system was continuously developed into a National Assessment which was officially announced on December 10 2019. The problem formulation in this research is (1) School management in implementing the National Assessment Program at Darul Abrar Private Middle School? (2) How does School Management Evaluate the National Assessment Program at Darul Abrar Private Middle School?. This research uses a qualitative approach and a case study type of research. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The researcher's efforts to analyze data were carried out using interactive techniques from data collection to completion of continuous data collection. The effort to check the validity of the data that the researcher used was the triangulation technique. The results of this research show that: (1) Management planning for the implementation of the National Assessment at Darul Abrar Private Middle School was carried out referring to several aspects, namely goals, targets and implementation steps. Meanwhile, to facilitate the implementation of National Assessment management, it follows several stages, namely: starting from the formulation and planning meeting, then implementation which is divided into strategies for students and strategies for the committee. (2) Darul Abrar Private Middle School, in terms of evaluation, strives to ensure that its students can continue to increase literacy. And perhaps implementing holistic learning by utilizing and developing all student potential in a balanced manner could be an alternative choice for educational institutions to cover the required literacy and numeracy.
