Abstract

This article aims to analyze the relevance of social values ​​in the Qur'an to fostering adolescent social relationships through a study of Wahbah az-Zuhaili's Tafsir Al-Munir. Adolescence is a critical phase in personality development, where environmental and social influences strongly shape thought patterns, behavior, and morality. Quranic social values ​​such as honesty, responsibility, politeness, justice, and self-care (iḥṣān) play a crucial role as guidelines in developing the character of Muslim adolescents. Using library research, this study examines Quranic verses related to social ethics and then analyzes Wahbah az-Zuhaili's interpretation of the Tafsir Al-Munir to identify a concept for fostering social relationships appropriate to the current context. The results of the study indicate that the Quranic social values ​​in the Tafsir Al-Munir are highly relevant for fostering healthy adolescent interactions, avoiding deviant behavior, and building social relationships based on noble morals. This research also confirms that internalizing the social values ​​of the Quran in education, particularly Islamic Religious Education (PAI), can be an effective strategy in shaping the character of civilized, responsible, and morally conscious adolescents. Thus, Tafsir Al-Munir makes a significant contribution as a normative reference for fostering adolescent social life in the modern era.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed Islamic preaching in Indonesia from a conventional activity into a dynamic and participatory practice within the digital sphere. This study aims to analyze the strategies of Shift Pemuda Hijrah in building and managing an active and productive digital-based da’wah community. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through content analysis of social media and documentation of community activities, this research identifies three key strategies underlying Shift’s success: personal branding, emotional narrative, and multiplatform optimization. Strong personal branding creates an authentic and relatable image of preachers among urban youth. Emotional narratives emphasizing spiritual experiences and affective connections strengthen emotional bonds between preachers and audiences. Meanwhile, multiplatform strategies enable broader outreach to diverse audience segments through adaptive content formats. The findings demonstrate that the combination of these three strategies forms a model of digital community-based da’wah that enhances participation, interaction, and sustainability of Islamic propagation in the digital age. This study contributes theoretically to the development of digital da’wah literacy and offers practical insights for Islamic organizations in managing online communities effectively and sustainably. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas dialektika antara tradisi dan modernitas dalam sejarah sosial intelektual Islam di Indonesia serta relevansinya terhadap pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara dinamika intelektual Islam Indonesia dengan arah pembaruan pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara nilai-nilai tradisi (spiritualitas, akhlak, dan keilmuan klasik) dan modernitas (rasionalitas, sains, dan pluralitas) telah membentuk karakter PAI yang dinamis, kontekstual, dan moderat. Dialektika ini membuktikan bahwa pengembangan PAI di Indonesia dapat memperkuat nilai keislaman sekaligus membangun daya adaptif terhadap perubahan sosial dan tantangan global.

Abstract

The Jahiliyah civilization was characterized by social instability, tribal fanaticism, moral decadence, economic injustice, low levels of education, and spiritual decline. These conditions indicate that Arab society did not yet have a civilized and just way of life. The arrival of Islam brought about major changes in Arab society as a whole. This study aims to describe the conditions of the Jahiliyah Arab civilization before Islam, analyze the process of value transformation brought by Islam, and identify its impact on the development of Islamic civilization and the world. The research method used is library research by analyzing various literature sources related to the conditions of the Jahiliyah Arab civilization and the changes brought about by Islamic teachings. The results show that Islam brought fundamental changes in the aspects of faith, morals, social, economic, and strong scientific. This study confirms that the conversion from Jahiliyah civilization to Islamic civilization was a major revolution that not only transformed Arab society but also influenced the direction of the development of world civilization. The transformation of Islamic values ​​​​has proven to produce a civilized, humane, and just society that remains relevant to human life until the modern era.

Abstract

Zakat and taxes are two obligations that must be fulfilled. This study starts from the question of whether zakat can replace taxes and how both contribute to public health. This study aims to analyze and expose it in a role to create the benefit and stability of the economy. In this study, using a qualitative approach, the method of library research through the review of books, scientific journals, and articles related to the theme discussed. This invention explains that zakat and taxes both have a foundation and legal provisions, but have the same goal to achieve the benefit and Shari'a. The study concluded that zakat and taxes cannot replace each other, but can collaborate so that zakat and taxes are managed properly, and increase awareness in the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the accuracy of explaining the concepts of nasikh and mansukh in Qur'anic verses and hadith, both from classical and contemporary perspectives. Nasikh means a verse or hadith that abolishes previous laws, while mansukh is a law that is abolished. This concept holds an important position in the science of tafsir and ushul fiqh because it is directly related to the establishment of Islamic law (istinbat al-ahkam) and understanding the meaning of revelation as a whole. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research method, examining classical literature such as Al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Qur'an by As-Suyuthi and contemporary works such as Quraish Shihab (2020), Abdullah Saeed (2016), and Abou El Fadl (2019). The results show that nasikh and mansukh are not a form of contradiction in revelation, but rather a manifestation of Divine wisdom in adapting law to the social and spiritual conditions of the people. Legal changes are pedagogical and gradual, reflecting the principles of tadarruj fi al-tasyri' (gradually establishing the law) and maqashid al-syari'ah (the goals of the sharia). In the contemporary context, understanding Nasakh-Mansukh needs to be placed within a contextual hermeneutic framework so as not to cause misunderstandings in interpreting the text. This research confirms that the accuracy of explaining nasikh-mansukh has a strategic role in modern Islamic education, especially in integrating the moral, social and historical values ​​of Islamic law into the study of tafsir and hadith

Abstract

judge is a state judicial official who has the authority to adjudicate and enforce the law. Meanwhile, the object of law is anything that can be of legal interest to a legal subject. This article aims to explain the meaning of a judge, the meaning of a legal object, and the requirements for a legal object. The research method used is a literature study with a normative approach. The results of the study indicate that judges play a strategic role as interpreters of the law, while legal objects must meet certain requirements to be legally valid. This research confirms that a deep understanding of judges and legal objects is important in judicial practice. This paper discusses basic concepts in Islamic law that include the definition of a judge, legal objects, legal subjects, and the requirements for both. In addition, this study also touches on Undang-Undang Nomor 48 important terms such as mukallaf, ahliyyatu al-wujub, and ahliyyatu al-ada". The purpose of this study is to understand the position of a judge as a lawmaker, the position of humans as legal subjects, and what can be an object of law. The research method used is a literature study with a normative-theoretical approach. The results of the study show that in Islamic law, the judge is Allah as the maker of the law, the subject of the law is a human being who has legal eligibility (ahliyyah), while the object of law is everything that is the target of the law, with certain conditions determined by the Shari'a.

Abstract

This study examines the concepts of Zahir and Muawwal in the science of Ushul Fiqh, which play an important role in understanding the meanings of Qur’anic and Hadith texts (nusus). Zahir refers to a wording whose meaning is clear and can be understood directly according to its apparent indication in the Arabic language, whereas Muawwal refers to a wording whose apparent meaning is interpreted away from its literal sense due to the presence of evidence that necessitates such interpretation.This research employs a descriptive method with a library research approach by examining classical and contemporary literature in the field of Ushul Fiqh. The findings indicate that the fundamental rule in interpreting nusus syar‘iyyah is to adhere to their zahir meaning unless there is evidence that redirects them to another meaning. Ta’wil is only acceptable when certain conditions are met, such as the presence of strong supporting evidence and conformity to linguistic principles.Thus, understanding Zahir and Muawwal becomes essential in interpreting the texts of the Shari‘ah proportionally and in preventing the Muslim community from falling into errors in comprehending Islamic law.

Abstract

The teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is required not only to convey religious knowledge but also to instill values ​​and morals that can be applied in students' daily lives. However, the dominant lecture-based learning method often leaves students passive and lacking a deep understanding of religious values. Therefore, a learning approach is needed that connects learning materials to students' real-life contexts. The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model is offered as a solution because it emphasizes learning activities involving direct experience, problem-solving, and reflection on the socio-religious conditions surrounding students. This article uses a literature review method by reviewing various research references related to the application of CTL in PAI. The results indicate that CTL can improve students' understanding of religious concepts, learning motivation, religious attitudes, and social skills. Despite its positive impact, CTL implementation still faces challenges such as limited teacher competency and learning support facilities. With the support of teacher professionalism and the provision of a conducive learning environment, CTL can be an effective approach to achieving PAI learning objectives that are more comprehensive and relevant to students' developmental needs.

Abstract

TikTok has become one of the most influential platforms for disseminating mental health information through emotionally driven and visually engaging short videos. This study examines how mental health is represented in TikTok content, particularly narratives that link psychological stress to physical conditions, and how such representations relate to users’ digital health literacy. Using a qualitative approach and a library research design, data were collected from scholarly publications and analyzed through content analysis. Findings from the reviewed literature show that mental health narratives on TikTok commonly employ dramatic storytelling, classical references, and legitimacy strategies such as rationalization, authorization, and moralization to enhance message credibility. However, these strategies may also lead to oversimplification, misinformation, and self-diagnosis among users with limited digital literacy. The study highlights that digital literacy plays a central role in enabling users, especially adolescents and university students to critically evaluate online health information. Strengthening digital literacy is therefore essential to reducing misinformation, preventing misinterpretation, and supporting the constructive use of social media as an educational medium for mental health awareness.
