Abstract

Thematic learning is learning that involves several scientific disciplines and is packaged in one theme. This research was conducted to explain teaching and learning methods in thematic learning. Implementation of the Problem Based Learning model, namely a learning model that exposes students to concrete problems in life while studying. Then students can relate the problem to the material to be studied. The application of the problem-based learning method forces students to carry out their own learning and actively explore students' information, to present problems and develop their own knowledge. It is hoped that using this based model will help students think critically and participate actively in the learning process. The research method used is literature study to perfect the analysis from the various sources used. So the results show that thematic learning using the Problem Based Learning model is able to increase student activity in learning

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought major challenges to education systems around the world, forcing a sudden shift to online and hybrid learning. This research aims to describe the importance of educational supervision in improving the quality of learning after the Covid-19 pandemic. Educational supervision in improving the quality of learning is the focus of this research. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach by collecting data sourced from books, articles and published research results. The discussion of this research covers various topics, including the concept of educational supervision, the objectives of educational supervision, the implementation of educational supervision, approaches to educational supervision, principles of educational supervision, techniques of educational supervision in improving the quality of learning. The results of this research show that educational supervision Effective learning plays an important role in helping teachers adapt new technology, overcome learning gaps, and support the mental and emotional well-being of teachers and students as an effort to increase learning effectiveness. In addition, this research found that a holistic approach in supervision, which considers physical and emotional aspects , and social, are critical to creating a learning environment that is inclusive and supports students' holistic development.

Abstract

This article aims to examine various effective strategies in the management of educational organizations that can be implemented to improve school performance. The focus of the discussion covers important aspects of school management, such as educational leadership, human resource management, curriculum and learning management, infrastructure management, financial management, and school relations with the community. The qualitative approach used in this research allows researchers to gain an understanding in depth about effective management strategies in improving school performance. By exploring the experiences and views of school leaders and teachers, it is hoped that this research will provide valuable insights that can be used to develop better management practices in other schools. The results of this research reveal that effective management strategies in improving school performance include visionary and inclusive leadership, effective human resource management, positive organizational culture, optimal use of information technology, parent participation, and the ability to adapt and innovate. These findings provide valuable insights that can be used by other schools to develop better management practices and improve overall educational performance. In addition, it is hoped that the results of this research can serve as a guide for educational policy makers in formulating policies that support improving school performance through effective management.

Abstract

The concept of educational supervision includes the understanding, objectives, functions, principles, and internal-external supervision. A supervisor is someone who is in charge of supervising, coaching, directing and solving problems that exist within the school and outside the school. Educational supervision can improve the professional ability of teachers, principals, and other education personnel so that the education process runs according to what has been planned before. The research was conducted through a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, literature studies were then presented in the form of descriptive narratives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the "Tasya Farasya Approved" endorsement on brand awareness of Somethinc Calm Down Cream, with a case study focusing on the followers of the Instagram account @tasyafarasya. This research employs a quantitative method with an explanatory research types. The Slovin formula and simple random sampling technique were utilized, distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, with the sample collection conducted online. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis, performed using SPSS 27 with 50 statements from both variables. The results of this study indicate that the endorsement variable has a positive effect on increasing brand awareness of Somethinc Calm Down Cream skincare products among the followers of the Instagram account @tasyafarasya. The "Tasya Farasya Approved" endorsement label is effective in increasing brand awareness of the Somethinc Calm Down Cream product.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of critical thinking skills of students. This can be seen from the activeness of students in the learning process in the classroom, where out of a total of 40 students only 10 students are active in learning, both asking and answering questions in the learning process, while the other 30 students are not active in the learning process, or passively do not ask or answer questions (<60). This is caused by teachers assessing students and providing information orally through lectures. The use of this conventional learning model results in a passive and less conducive classroom atmosphere, students often lose focus on learning, and as a result, students' creative thinking is very low because many students find it difficult to convey opinions or answers about the material . This research was conducted at SDN 124388 Pematangsiantar using an experimental type. (esperimental research) is a quasi-quantitative research approach (Quasi Experimental Design). The subject of this study is grade III students, consisting of 2 classes divided into an experimental group and a control group, with a total of 40 students. The object of this research is students' critical thinking skills using the debate method. Data was collected through a test in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 12 questions. The results of the t test calculation show a significance value of p (sig (2-tailed)) of 0.000. Because the p value is less than 0.05, the null hypothesis (Ho) can be rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the debate method on students' critical thinking skills at SDN 124388 Pematangsiantar. Based on the above analysis, it can be concluded that the use of the debate method can improve students' critical thinking skills with the subject of identifying diversity in the PPKN learning subjects as evidenced by the average listening skills in the pretest in the experimental class or the class that received treatment, which was 34.4 increased in the posstest to 41.8. Thus, the researcher suggests that teachers can use the debate method in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to improve mathematical problem solving abilities in mathematics story problem using the Smart Puzzle media. In this research, the material used in learning word problems was multiplication and divison of fractions for fifth grade elementary school students. Data collection was carried out at SD Negeri Pat Lor 05 with 22 students in class V elementary school. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of II cycles, each cycle is held in 2x meetings. This research data was obtained through interviews, observations and tests. The test data resulting from mathematical problem solving abilities were analyzed based on the percentage of individual mathematical problem solving completeness. The analysis techniques used in this study are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of the research showed that research showed that there was an increase in the percentage in cycles I and II obtained by class V students. This was shown by the students mathematical problem solving abilities referring to predetermined success criteria. The average score for cycle I was 70,3%, increasing in cycle II to 83,9%, an increase also occurred in the scores of students who had reached the KKM (80), namely increasing from 59% to 90,9%. Based on the results obtained, it can be conclude that learning using the Careful Puzzle media can improve the mathematical problem olving abilities of class V students at Pati Lor 05 Elementary School.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Take and Give learning model on students' discussion skills in learning Science Chapter 8 class IV at SD Negeri 060898 Medan. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental approach. The subjects in this research were all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 060898 Medan. The sampling technique used was random sampling of 22 class IVA students and 22 class IVB students at SD Negeri 060898 Medan. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative analysis. From the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Take and Give learning model on students' discussion skills in learning science and science chapter 8 class IV at SD Negeri 060898 Medan. This can be seen from the posttest average of experimental class students' discussion skills which is higher than the control class, namely 37.9 > 29.7, and seen from the hypothesis test carried out by researchers based on the results of comparing t_count with t_table, namely 16.164 > 1.682 with a significant level. 5% which causes Ha to be accepted and Ho to be rejected.

Abstract

This research is to improve the ability to identify human circulatory system of SCIENCE class V subjects at MI Miftahul Ulum Dero Kesamben Jombang which uses Blood Sirculation media, implemented in 2 cycles. Researchers use PTK, researchers took the class V of MI Miftahul Ulum Dero Kesamben Jombang with 20 students consisting of 12 men, 8 women. In the pre-cycle stage teachers still use conventional methods, so that only 2 students are able to achieve a classical survival with a percentage of 15%, average classification 42.50. After the media, Blood Sirculation in Cycle 1 experienced an increase of 25% with 12 skilled students. In Cycle 2 The students experience an increase significantly evidenced by the classical averages reaching 78 with a percentage of the 99.05% compensation. Therefore it was concluded that the SCIENCE learning in identifying the human circulatory system with Blood Sirculation is able to improve the ability to identify human circulatory system students class V MI Miftahul Ulum Dero Kesamben Jombang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether hygiene and sanitation training can improve knowledge for food handlers of boran rice in Lamongan City. This research method uses quantitative with an evaluative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through Pre Test and Post Test questions. Research respondents were all food handlers of Boran rice in Lamongan city. a total of 20 people. with descriptive analysis techniques with the help of the SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) program. The results showed: by comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test, it can be seen that the training was quite effective in increasing participants' understanding and knowledge of hygiene and sanitation, because the average posttest answer of food handler respondents obtained a higher posttest score than when the pretest was conducted. Evidenced by the average Pre Test score was 66.75 and the average Post Test score was 73.25. Where the score is in the very good category. So it can be said that there is an effect of the application of sanitation hygiene training on increasing knowledge for food handlers of boran rice in Lamongan City.
