Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Instagram social media as a means of disseminating tax information to Generation Z. In the context of the increasing use of social media by this generation of digital natives, the research focuses on five dimensions of effectiveness: participation, openness, conversation, community, and connectedness. The research method used is descriptive quantitative through an online survey using Google Form, which was conducted from November 2024 to February 2025 in the DKI Jakarta area. The sample consisted of 100 Generation Z respondents who actively use Instagram and have accessed tax content. The results showed that the five dimensions of effectiveness obtained an average value above 4.2 (very effective category), with an overall value of 4.29. This shows that Instagram is able to optimally convey tax information to Generation Z, mainly due to its visual and interactive format that suits the characteristics of this generation. In conclusion, Instagram is effective as a tax communication medium, but needs improvement in terms of interactive engagement and connection to official sources. This study suggests that the Directorate General of Taxes continue to develop communicative content, expand digital platforms, and consider a qualitative approach in future research.

Abstract

E-commerce has shown very rapid development in recent years as a result of advances in digital technology, changes in consumer preferences, and increasing access to the internet. This study aims to explore the direction of development, challenges, and potential of e-commerce in the future through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method of scientific publications published between 2018 and 2024. Of the 203 articles reviewed, 40 articles were selected for further analysis. The results of the study identified five main categories, namely: technological advances (including AI, IoT, and AR), consumer behavior trends, innovations in business models, regulatory and security issues, and opportunities open to MSMEs. The conclusion of the study confirms that the future direction of e-commerce will be largely determined by technology integration, policy adaptability, and business responses to changes in the digital market. These findings are expected to be a reference for academics, business actors, and policy makers in developing inclusive and sustainable e-commerce strategies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Family economy is an important aspect in improving community welfare, especially in rural areas. This study aims to determine the effect of education level and income on family economy. The method used is quantitative descriptive with a population of heads of families in Dusun Beringin Barat, Labuhan Ratu V, East Lampung. The sample consisted of 50 respondents, determined through the Slovin formula with a simple random sampling technique. The results of the t-test showed that education level did not have a significant effect on family economy (sig. 0.317> 0.05 and t count -1.011 <2.0106). On the other hand, income had a significant effect (sig. 0.000 <0.05 and t count 4.497> 2.0106). Simultaneously, education and income had an effect on family economy, as evidenced by the F test (F count 15.783> F table 3.190727).

Abstract

Collaboration between international organisations and educational institutions plays a strategic role in developing an inclusive and sustainable Islamic economy. The Chiba Islamic Culture Centre, as a community-based organisation in Japan, and PTIQ University, as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia, have great potential to integrate Islamic values into the development of a Sharia-based economy. This article aims to initiate and strengthen cooperation between these two institutions, focusing on community empowerment through an Islamic economic approach. The methodology employed utilises a qualitative descriptive approach, incorporating data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document reviews. The expected outcome is the establishment of a strategic cooperation model that can be practically implemented, covering empowerment programs based on zakat, waqf, and technology, as well as the formation of an Islamic economic ecosystem capable of improving the welfare of the target community. This article also identifies challenges and opportunities in program implementation, providing recommendations for the sustainability of this cross-border collaboration

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of money market equilibrium and the elements that influence it in the context of an open economy. Money market equilibrium occurs when the need for money is equal to the amount available at a certain interest rate. This study uses a quantitative descriptive methodology using secondary data from national financial reports and monetary indicators. The results of the analysis show that interest rates and national income are key variables that influence money market equilibrium. In addition, monetary policy implemented by financial authorities plays an important role in maintaining money market stability. These findings have a significant influence on the formulation of macroeconomic policies, especially in maintaining price stability and encouraging economic growth through efficient liquidity management.

Abstract

This study was conducted to assess the extent to which product knowledge influences consumer decisions in purchasing cosmetics by adopting a qualitative methodology with a literature study approach. This study includes the presentation of several scientific literatures, references, and theories that are closely related to the research variables. This study analyzes ten studies that focus on the study variables. The data analysis technique is carried out descriptively qualitatively in order to understand the relationship between the two variables. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out regarding the influence of product knowledge on purchasing decisions for cosmetic products, a positive relationship was found between the two. The study of consumer decisions in purchasing cosmetics is an interesting topic because this decision is one of the main challenges for cosmetic companies in determining the right marketing strategy. The complexity of the consumer decision-making process shows that many factors are interrelated and need to be considered. Therefore, companies need the ability to control the dynamics related to consumer behavior and adjust their business strategies to remain relevant. Understanding trends and changes in consumer purchasing patterns is an important thing that should not be ignored if the company wants to develop sustainably in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) to improve the efficiency of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) transactions to make them safer and easier to access in the Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Sindangsari environment. QRIS is one of the payment instruments introduced by Bank Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method on MSMEs that actively use QRIS in the payment method available at the Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University canteen, Sindangsari. This data was collected through observation and interviews with 7 MSME owners and 10 buyers, to find out the reasons for choosing non-cash over cash, to find out the increase in the number of transactions after using QRIS, the advantages of using QRIS and its obstacles as well as the positive and negative impacts on the effectiveness and operations of MSMEs. Thus, QRIS has proven effective as a digital payment instrument that supports the growth of MSMEs at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Sindangsari.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the sectors that has a major impact on economic growth in Indonesia, both in terms of state revenue and continuing to expand employment opportunities. In terms of global trade, the tourism sector is greatly influenced by international economic dynamics, such as the flow of foreign tourists, trade policies, and global economic stability. This study aims to analyze the relationship between global trade and Indonesia's economic resilience in the tourism sector, focusing on facing global turmoil such as pandemics, trade wars, and financial crises. The method used is a quantitative approach with secondary data analysis from BPS reports, related ministries, and global trade organizations. The results of the study show that there is a strong relationship between global trade growth and the performance of the tourism sector, as well as the important role of this sector in stabilizing national economic resilience through diversification of foreign exchange sources and increasing gross domestic product (GDP).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of local revenue realization, particularly Regional Original Revenue (PAD), in supporting regional development programs. PAD serves as a vital indicator of fiscal independence and a primary funding source for sustainable development efforts. However, many regions still face significant challenges in optimizing PAD potential. Gaps between revenue targets and actual realization, weak retribution management, low taxpayer compliance, and poor inter-agency data integration are major obstacles to effectiveness. This study utilizes a descriptive method rooted in qualitative analysis by examining existing literature and secondary data analysis from credible sources. The findings indicate that PAD effectiveness strongly influences a region's fiscal capacity to implement development functions, especially in public service and infrastructure sectors. Therefore, policy reform, strengthening of revenue collection systems, and improvement of human resource capacity are critical strategies to achieve fiscal autonomy and sustainable regional development. The integration of religious values into strategies for optimizing local revenue (PAD) can also enhance tax awareness through spiritual and social approaches, strengthen public trust in the government, and foster development that is not only materially oriented but also grounded in ethics and social justice.

Abstract

The research was conducted to examine the influence of the marketing mix (product, price, place, and promotion) on consumers' purchase intention of the iPhone 15 Pro Max in Palembang City. The research employed a quantitative approach with purposive sampling involving 200 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that all four elements of the marketing mix have a significant effect on purchase intention, both simultaneously and partially. Product and promotion emerged as the dominant factors influencing consumer decisions. This study provides important implications for Apple’s marketing strategies and for local business actors in the premium technology industry.
