Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and the increasing complexity of financial products, from digital wallets and bank loans to cryptocurrency and investment platforms, highlight the urgent need for financial literacy education, particularly for vocational high school (SMK) students in Indonesia. Many SMK graduates directly enter the workforce or pursue entrepreneurship without attending university, making financial decision-making skills crucial. This article explores the potential of Android-based e-books as an innovative and accessible learning medium to enhance students’ financial literacy. Designed to be interactive, contextual, and engaging for Gen Z learners, the proposed e-book serves as a pedagogical supplement, not a replacement, to classroom teaching. Drawing from literature reviews, examples of existing apps, and relevant educational frameworks, the article emphasizes the importance of developing localized, curriculum-aligned digital resources. The paper concludes with suggestions for evaluating financial learning apps and recommends steps for integrating them effectively into SMK education.

Abstract

In the culinary business, service quality is one of the main factors that determine success. Baso Aci Sambel Garut is one of the famous culinary businesses in the Tasikmalaya area. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of gap between consumer expectations and perceptions of the quality of service provided by the culinary business Baso Aci Sambel Garut based on the SERVQUAL dimension. to determine the priority of service quality improvement using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) model, and provide service quality improvement strategies to increase customer satisfaction. This study used a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study were all consumers of baso aci sambel garut. The sampling technique was carried out using convenience sampling. The determination of the number of samples used the Limeshow formula of 100 people. The analysis in this study used Gap Measurement with the SERVQUAL Method, Priority Mapping with Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and Formulation of Service Quality Improvement Strategies. The results of this study are on the Tangibles dimension (Physical Evidence), Reliability, Responsiveness, and Empathy are indicators with a negative gap level indicating that the quality of service is still not in accordance with consumer expectations. The improvement strategy focuses on Quadrant I of the IPA quadrant diagram which consists of: Employee appearance must be neater and more professional, food is served at the appropriate time, Operating hours must be appropriate, consumers are given clear information about the waiting time for orders, Staff must be quicker to handle errors in orders, employees understand consumer needs and preferences, staff must be willing to help customers with special difficulties, provide food options that suit various customer preferences, and employees must continue to provide good service even when crowded.

Abstract

This study was conducted to improve the problem-solving skills of class VIII-2 students of SMPN 9 Medan in mathematics learning with the topic of Investigating the Properties of Geometric Figures. Learning was carried out using Live Worksheet as a learning media with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) as method. The object of this study was to improve problem-solving skills in learning to Investigate the Properties of Geometric Figures in class VIII-2 students of SMPN 9 Medan in the 20024/2025 academic year. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which focused on Cycle I and Cycle II. In this study, the instruments used were teacher observation and tests (pre-test, post-test I and post-test II). Based on the data that has been analyzed, it was obtained that students' problem-solving skills increased from cycle I to cycle II with an N-Gain index of 0.56 with the category "Medium". Therefore, the researcher concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning using Live Worksheet can improve problem-solving ability in learning to Investigate the Properties of Geometric Figures in class VIII-2 students of SMPN 9 Medan.

Abstract

Education is closely related to human life and is one of the main elements in creating quality human resources.Literacy and numeracy are knowledge that involve skills not only in reading, writing, and arithmetic.However, literacy and numeracy are related to the ability to solve problems in everyday life (Mulyandani & Hasyda, 2021).The learning model that aligns with the concrete knowledge stage of elementary school students is activity-based and real.One of the interactive learning models is the CTL type CRH, which is a learning model that offers contextual or real learning closely related to students' lives.The research design that will be used is a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.Based on the results of the Critical Thinking pretest with an average score of 34.81, and after the treatment was given, a posttest was conducted with an average score of 79.63.Meanwhile, for the pretest LitNum, the average score was 36.67, and after the implementation of the CTL Type CRH model, a posttest was conducted with an average score of 77.41.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the problem-solving abilities of seventh-grade students (Class VII-6) at SMPN 9 Medan during the 2024/2025 academic year, specifically in their understanding of circle geometry. To achieve this, the (PBL approach was implemented as part of a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, which was carried out in two cycles: Cycle I and Cycle II.To assess students' progress, the study used pre-tests, post-tests for Cycle I, and post-tests for Cycle II as evaluation tools. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, allowing for a comparison of students' problem-solving abilities over time. The results indicate a consistent improvement in students' individual and class-wide problem-solving performance between Cycle I and Cycle II. Based on these findings, the study concludes that Problem-Based Learning (PBL) effectively enhances students' ability to solve mathematical problems, particularly in the context of circle geometry, among seventh-grade students at SMPN 9 Medan

Abstract

The Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia through its official website and Instagram account in March 2022 established and released the "Indonesian Halal Label" logo. The release of the Indonesian Halal Label logo by the Ministry of Religion received various responses and views and even sparked debate and mutual opinions from various groups. Against the background of various polemics and controversies over the new design of the Indonesian Halal Label logo, this study will try to reveal the meaning of the Indonesian Halal Logo from the perspective of Gestalt theory. This study aims to explain the meanings of the Indonesian Halal Logo and to find out the elements of gestalt theory contained in the Indonesian halal logo. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative approach to data collection techniques, namely observation of the shape, color and typography/writing on the Indonesian halal logo. The results of the study show that the re-branding of the Indonesian Halal logo brought about significant changes in public perception of halal products. These changes occurred due to the application of the principles of Gestalt theory which emphasize similarity, unity, balance, experience and simplicity in the design of the new logo. This research makes an important contribution to the field of visual communication and branding, especially in the context of culture and religion in Indonesia.

Abstract

The problems of cage management in rabbit farming MSMEs in Ciputri Village, Langensari Village, Lembang Sub-district, include inadequate spatial layout, poor sanitation, non-optimal air circulation, and the threat of theft that causes losses. To overcome this, a mentoring program was conducted during May 2024 with a participatory approach based on local needs. This research aims to design and implement a mentoring program for rabbit farming MSMEs with a focus on cage management. The program included community profiling, SWOT analysis, and intervention in the form of cage design improvement, security improvement, and sustainable management education. The results showed that this assistance had a significant positive impact, especially in improving cage safety. After the program, there were no more cases of rabbit loss due to theft. In addition, cage improvements, especially the installation of roofs, have succeeded in protecting livestock from direct rain exposure, so that the temperature inside the cage becomes warmer and more stable, which has an impact on rabbit health. In conclusion, this mentoring program has successfully provided practical and sustainable solutions for MSME-scale rabbit farmers. The resulting improvements in livestock safety and health contribute to business sustainability and make these MSMEs a model for community empowerment and local economic development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan model pembelajaran STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa kelas 4 SD terkait pemahaman konsep energi. Model STAD, yang menekankan kerja sama kelompok, diyakini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang sulit, seperti konsep energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan 22 siswa di SDN 1 Talaga. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis tugas individu siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model STAD dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, memperkuat pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep energi, dan menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang kooperatif. Meskipun terdapat tantangan, seperti perbedaan kemampuan antara siswa dan keterbatasan waktu, penggunaan teknologi dan pengelolaan peran dalam kelompok dapat mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Umpan balik guru yang konstruktif juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi siswa. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan model STAD efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi sains siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar, terutama dalam pembelajaran konsep-konsep ilmiah yang kompleks

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran TSTS (Think-Talk-Write-Square) di SDN 4 Talaga Jaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA, khususnya dalam memahami konsep-konsep ilmiah yang kompleks seperti energi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis tugas individu siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model TSTS dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, mendorong interaksi positif dalam kelompok, dan memperdalam pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Selain itu, penerapan model ini juga menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti pengelolaan waktu dan perbedaan tingkat pemahaman antar siswa. Solusi yang diterapkan, seperti pengelolaan dinamika kelompok dan penggunaan teknologi untuk mempercepat evaluasi, berhasil mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Peran umpan balik guru juga terbukti penting dalam memperbaiki pemahaman siswa dan meningkatkan motivasi mereka untuk berpartisipasi lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, model TSTS menunjukkan potensi yang besar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di pelajaran IPA

Abstract

Physical fitness includes strength, endurance, speed, agility, and flexibility that contribute to the performance of athletes on the field. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of Physical Fitness of Badminton Athletes PB. Talenta Kebumen Age Group 9-12 Years. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a percentage. The instruments used in this study were test instruments, including agility tests (40-meter run), muscle strength (Pull Up), flexibility (sit up), balance (vertical jump) and endurance (600-meter run). The test results showed that players who were categorized as very good or got a score of 5 were 8%. categorized as good or got a score of 4 were 58%. categorized as moderate or got a score of 3 were 29%. categorized as less or got a score of 2 were 5%. There were no students at all who were categorized as very less or got a score of 1. There are several factors that influence the physical fitness of players, including environmental factors, different individual characteristics, different player developments, training intensity and player motivation.
