Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Abstract

This study aimed to develop an electronic archiving system application based on Microsoft Access for the Savings and Loan Unit of Koperasi Warga Polban (KWP), which had previously encountered various challenges in managing manual archives, such as limited storage space, search times reaching 10–15 minutes per document, and risks of document loss or damage. The system was designed using the waterfall method through several stages, starting from needs analysis, system design—covering the creation of use case diagrams to map user interactions, flowcharts to visualize workflows, and entity relationship diagrams (ERD) for database structure. At the implementation stage, key features were developed, including input forms for incoming and outgoing mail, document management for savings and loans, archiving of internal and legal documents, and a search feature that enabled document retrieval in under one minute. The system testing results showed an improvement in work efficiency with a reduction in search time by up to 93%, increased data accuracy through automated validation, and enhanced data security with authentication systems and routine backup mechanisms. Evaluation through comparative tests and interviews with administrative staff regarding high user satisfaction with the ease of the interface, completeness of features, and stability of the system.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the educational values contained in the tradition of takbiran keliling carried out by the people of Apoho Village, Enggano District, North Bengkulu Regency. This tradition is not only a religious expression before Eid al-Fitr, but is also full of social and cultural values that can strengthen social cohesion in the community. A descriptive qualitative approach with ethnographic methods was used in this study, with data collection techniques in the form of participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that takbiran keliling contains values of togetherness, social tolerance, and character education that are transmitted informally to the younger generation. These values are manifested in cross-age and religious cooperation, mutual cooperation, and the active involvement of children and adolescents in social activities. This tradition forms an inclusive and educational relational space, and is a means of preserving local culture that is adaptive to changing times. Thus, takbiran keliling in Apoho Village can be used as a model for the practice of local wisdom-based value education that is relevant to the spirit of the Merdeka Curriculum and national character education.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are currently a new way for people to become entrepreneurs. However, the observations made produced information on partner needs in several aspects, such as management aspects, production aspects, and human resources and technology aspects. Some MSMEs feel less able to attract customers to be interested in the products they sell. Like MSME piscok (chocolate banana) actors who have the same problem about how to attract consumers. The target output of increasing the quantity and quality of production, skills, and business processes that run more effectively and efficiently in general has been achieved through this community service process. This community service program through training aims to educate how to introduce products so that they can attract consumers easily. There are several important factors to make our production get attention from potential consumers such as having a logo and product name, giving a tagline to interest consumers, and offering products using social media. The results of the implementation of the training were to provide a positive response, namely by explaining what the logo, banner, menu list, packaging (stamp), and promotion on social media wanted by the participants of the MSME Piscok branding training.

Abstract

The shift in curriculum policy in Indonesia towards the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes the importance of contextual and meaningful learning, one of which is implemented through the Pancasila Student Profile Reinforcement Project (P5). This study aims to evaluate the extent to which the implementation of P5 influences the character and creativity of students at SMAS Adabiah 2 Padang. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 10th-grade students. The collected data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS. The results show that the P5 project has a significant impact on shaping students' character and enhancing their creativity. The percentage for character and creativity indicators reached 87%, indicating a positive influence. The Pearson correlation test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.901, indicating a very strong relationship between P5 and both variables. The coefficient of determination (R²) revealed that 90.1% of the variation in students' character and creativity is influenced by the implementation of the project. Thus, the P5 initiative has been proven to contribute significantly to the development of student character and creativity at SMAS Adabiah 2 Padang.

oleh mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan numerasi siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) Mosso di Kec. Muara Tami, Kota Jayapura, yang terletak di wilayah 3T (terluar, terdepan, dan tertinggal). Program pendampingan ini melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai pengajar sementara yang membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar sains dan matematika melalui pendekatan yang interaktif dan berbasis pengalaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sains dan numerasi setelah mengikuti program pendampingan. Peningkatan ini tercermin dalam nilai tes pre-test dan post-test yang menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Selain itu, penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis eksperimen dan permainan edukatif terbukti efektif dalam menarik minat siswa dan meningkatkan keterampilan numerasi mereka. Meskipun demikian, keterbatasan fasilitas dan durasi program menjadi tantangan utama yang mempengaruhi efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang peran mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di daerah 3T dan dapat dijadikan sebagai model untuk program pendampingan serupa di daerah lain.

Abstract

Learning media includes various tools and sources of information that function to support the learning process. Choosing the right learning media can affect the way students understand information, so it has the potential to develop students' learning achievement. This research serves to examine the effect of learning media on student learning achievement at the junior high school level. This research was examined using a literature study approach with quantitative methods, which involved reviewing accurate academic information. The results of the study show that learning media as teaching materials have a significant impact on improving students' learning achievement. Creative and interactive learning media can foster students' desire and contribution during learning activities, thus having a positive impact on academic outcomes. This study found that the use of learning media is proven to be effective in realizing more powerful and useful knowledge. The use of learning media in this study can be used as an effective plan to improve the quality of education through student learning achievement at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This article discusses many models of innovation development in Islamic education of learning environments. Innovation in the development of learning environments is an effort to change the learning process of students systematically by making the potential of the existing environment into something better in the learning system, so that students are expected to be able to develop and progress. In the development of Islamic educational environments, the main goal is an effort to form character and change student behavior in the learning process towards achieving the desired success. In a learning environment, it is necessary to develop a learning environment with new models that are easy for students to respond to and without changing the role of the environment around them, because in learning there are always changes and discrepancies between the theory presented and the reality of the facts in the field. This study is part of the relevance of the innovation development model to the Islamic educational learning environment in the theories of educational experts. The purpose of this study is to determine and explain the innovation development model for the learning environment of students in Islamic education. The method used in this study is qualitative with the type of library research.

Abstract

Pekanbaru City, one of Indonesia’s growing metropolitan areas, faces significant traffic challenges, particularly due to the increasing number of motorcycles. As the population rapidly expands, the volume of motorized vehicles rises, leading to frequent congestion—especially during peak hours. This study analyzes traffic performance at signalized intersections in Pekanbaru, focusing on congestion problems resulting from motorcycle dominance. The research examines vehicle volume, queue lengths, and delays at selected intersections. Findings reveal that the Gramedia (Nangka) and Governor’s Office intersections experience high traffic density, which elevates the risk of accidents. This study offers practical recommendations to support traffic management decisions and guide the development of a more efficient urban transportation system.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi, perkembangan teknologi telah membawa dampak besar dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk industri properti. PT Jarnas Properti, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penjualan properti, masih menggunakan metode pemasaran tradisional seperti media cetak dan komunikasi langsung. Pendekatan ini dinilai kurang optimal untuk menjangkau calon pelanggan secara luas dan efisien. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi properti berbasis web yang mampu mendukung pengelolaan bisnis secara efektif dan meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan menggunakan framework Laravel dengan arsitektur Model- View-Controller (MVC), bahasa pemrograman PHP, dan database MySQL. Proses pengembangan dimulai dengan perancangan sistem menggunakan pemodelan UML untuk memastikan struktur sistem yang terorganisasi dan skalabel. Aplikasi yang dirancang mencakup fitur manajemen properti, pemesanan online, dan antarmuka pengguna yang ramah, sehingga dapat memberikan akses informasi properti secara mudah dan cepat. Hasil pengembangan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data, memperluas jangkauan pemasaran, serta meningkatkan daya saing PT Jarnas Properti di era digital. Dengan sistem informasi ini, perusahaan dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih optimal dan modern sesuai kebutuhan pelanggan.

Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education demands more contextual and technology-based learning. One key technology from Industry 4.0 that has the potential to be adopted in education is the Internet of Things (IoT). However, IoT implementation in learning systems is still limited, and curricula tend not to accommodate industry needs for graduates with digital literacy and data-driven skills. Students often lack direct experience in applying technology in real-world settings, especially in sustainability and operational efficiency. This research developed a project-based learning model using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach integrated with simple IoT devices. Students were tasked with mapping the logistics processes of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), identifying waste sources, and formulating circular supply chain solutions based on data from temperature, humidity, and motion sensors. The projects were conducted collaboratively with SME partners to ensure relevant and applicable learning contexts. The learning process was combined with Kolb's experiential learning cycle to strengthen student engagement and reflection on industry practices. Evaluation showed that 92% of students understood the concept of a circular supply chain, and 85% could operate IoT devices independently. The average final project score reached 93.8/100, with solutions directly valued by the partner SMEs. This research contributes to developing a contextual, technology-based learning model that bridges the academic world and the needs of small industries. Other educational institutions can replicate this model to strengthen the integration of digital literacy, sustainability, and industry collaboration.
