Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Abstract

One of the determining factors for the success of catfish cultivation is fish feed. Catfish feed is an intake or food given to catfish which is useful for meeting nutritional needs that are useful for meeting nutritional needs to support the growth, survival and health of catfish. The target audience for community service activities is a group of fish farmers in Sukaa Karya Village, Jambi City. The number of catfish farmers is 10 people. The pattern of implementation of the activity method will be taken in stages, namely a. Preliminary survey and Problem Identification b. Training Activities, c. Skills Activities, d. Evaluation. Based on the results of the community service activities, the following conclusions can be drawn: The response of fish farmers in participating in this community service activity in making catfish feed is very positive and shows a willingness to know and master skills in making catfish feed. Making catfish feed with coconut cake is one alternative for catfish feed.

Abstract

Pengembangan jiwa entrepreneurship dan UMKM di kalangan anggota AMGPM Dakota Cabang Eirene Ranting Evangelis merupakan upaya penting untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan pemberdayaan ekonomi komunitas. Kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan kewirausahaan, pendampingan usaha mikro, dan pelatihan digital marketing dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Metode yang digunakan berupa observasi, pelatihan interaktif, pendampingan, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman kewirausahaan peserta sebesar 60%, munculnya beberapa inisiatif usaha mikro baru, dan peningkatan penggunaan media sosial untuk pemasaran produk. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mempererat solidaritas dan tanggung jawab sosial dalam komunitas AMGPM. Kesimpulannya, program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas ekonomi anggota dan memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai model pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis gereja

Abstract

Di tengah tantangan dunia kerja dan tingginya angka pengangguran terdidik, mahasiswa diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi pencari kerja, tetapi juga pencipta lapangan kerja. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan motivasi berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Pattimura melalui kegiatan ekspo kewirausahaan inovatif. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, dimulai dari pelatihan dasar kewirausahaan, pendampingan pengembangan ide usaha, hingga pelaksanaan ekspo sebagai wadah promosi dan kolaborasi bisnis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada minat dan rasa percaya diri mahasiswa dalam memulai usaha. Expo ini juga mendorong terbentuknya ekosistem kewirausahaan yang lebih aktif dan kolaboratif di lingkungan kampus. Melalui program ini, mahasiswa tidak hanya mampu mengembangkan ide bisnis secara nyata, tetapi juga membangun karakter entrepreneur yang adaptif, inovatif, dan visioner.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of a public figure’s actions—in this case, Cristiano Ronaldo—on Coca‑Cola’s brand perception during Euro 2020. The focal case involves Ronaldo removing two Coca‑Cola bottles from his table at a press conference and recommending mineral water, which triggered public reactions and a temporary decline in Coca‑Cola’s market value. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach and a case study method, data were collected through documentation (press conference recordings, media reports, and social media posts) and a literature review on brand perception theories, celebrity endorsement, and nonverbal communication. Content and semiotic analysis were applied to investigate the symbolism of Ronaldo’s gestures and media narratives in shaping consumer perception constructs. Findings indicate that a simple gesture by a public figure can serve as a powerful signal influencing brand associations and market investment behavior, although long-term effects are moderated by external factors such as global economic trends and corporate communication strategies. These results have implications for marketing practitioners in designing crisis management strategies and leveraging public figures more cautiously, as well as opening avenues for further research on social media dynamics and consumer trust.

Abstract

This study attempts to determine the process of implementing student moral development and the obstacles that cause moral deviations. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques in this study are: Data reduction, data coding, drawing conclusions. The results of student moral development through the habituation method are quite good, this can be seen from several students who were previously considered to have poor morals, but after moral development through the habituation method, experienced positive behavioral changes. These changes can be seen as students who participate in activities and obey the rules applied by the madrasah, their behavior leads to good things in accordance with religious teachings, including behaving respectfully, disciplined, caring for others, and being generous.

Abstract

The character of the nation is an important aspect of the quality of human resources (HR) in Indonesia because the quality of the nation's character determines the progress of a nation. A high-quality character needs to be formed and nurtured from an early age. Early childhood is a critical period for the formation of a person's character. According to Freud, the failure to instill good personality traits at an early age will shape a problematic personality in adulthood. The success of parents in educating their children to overcome personality conflicts in early childhood is crucial to the child’s success in social life in adulthood. The purpose of this research is to examine the instillation of discipline and hard work in the learning process of economics subjects at MAN Nglawak Kertosono. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which involves written or spoken words from individuals and observed behaviors. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The instillation of character at MAN Nglawak Kertosono, particularly in economics learning, is when the teacher incorporates characters relevant to the material being studied and the methods used during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Moderation in Islam is a religion that is Rahmatan lil 'alamin, not like the ideology of extremists who tend to prioritize a hard stance without compromise, or the ideology of liberal groups who often interpret religious teachings very loosely, freely, and even almost out of line with religious truth. This article aims to implement and develop the PAI learning model so that students behave moderately in Islam, both in faith, worship, and muamalah. So that it will produce a complete understanding of true religious moderation. The result of this article is to formulate an effective PAI learning model to be applied to students to optimize the values ​​of moderation so that they do not behave extreme in religion, both in terms of faith, worship, and socializing with others as exemplified by our prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam.

Abstract

This community service was conducted in several villages in Indonesia, including Legian Badung, Baubau Kupang, and Ogan Jaya in North Lampung, over periods ranging from two weeks to one month. The aim was to provide counseling on the use of Meta AI to improve digital literacy in rural communities in Indonesia. The methodology involved discussions with colleagues and village officials to identify suitable themes, followed by obtaining permission from village authorities. The implementation stage included counseling on how to use Meta AI, covering aspects like opening WhatsApp, accessing Meta AI through the chat tab, agreeing to terms, typing prompts, sending messages, and providing feedback. The counseling also highlighted the advantages of Meta AI, such as its ease of use, multi-language capabilities, and 24-hour availability. The authors found that Meta AI's simple interface allows users of varying technological backgrounds to interact with it easily, and its constant availability and multi-language support enhance its utility as an educational and communication tool globally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of education and the role of supervision in country SD as new 147 if viewed in qualitative terms the main focus is on how a supervision of education influences the improvement of learning, teacher professionalism, and the attainment of national standards of education. The approach to case studies is used in this study asa method to understand the problem, data is collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Research indicates that effective supervision plays a significant role in the improvement of education, to improve the quality of learning and professional teachers in country SD as new 147, especially in learning planning, the implementation of the curriculum, and the assessments of learning. It also refers to the evaluation process in improving the quality of education, such as education services, learning, resources and results.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the feasibility instrument of the book Indonesian Language: Moving Together for Grade V Elementary School, especially in Chapter 2 "World Window Book", according to the BSNP reference. The method used is descriptive qualitative with document review techniques, identifying the quality of book content, language quality, presentation quality and display or graphic quality. The results of the analysis showed that: (1) the content aspect of the book covers almost all fiction and nonfiction text material according to Curriculum 2013 and has been updated in the last five years; (2) the language aspect meets the Enhanced Indonesian Spelling Edition V and uses a straightforward and easy to understand style; (3) the presentation aspect presents complete exercises at the end of the chapter that are interesting and motivate students to discuss, write creatively, and read comprehension; (4) the graphical aspect uses standard font sizes and illustrations that support the visualisation of the text. Nevertheless, there are recommendations to add exercises to differentiate sentence structures and argumentation texts to improve students’ critical thinking skills.
