Abstract

This research aims to examine the utilization of work infrastructure and self capacity building on the performance of school administrative staff. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach done to 109 school administration personnel. From the results of research conducted, the utilization of infrastructure facilities have a significant effect on the performance of school administrative staff on very high category. This can be explained by the high relation between the two dimensions of utilization of work infrastructure to the measured performance that is based on the principle and function of work infrastructure. Self capacity building also has a significant effect on the performance of school administrative personnel although it affects the middle category. This is identified by the low relation of five indicators of self capacity building to the performance of school administrative staff, ie workshop, seminar, courses, co- operative collegial development, and skill development model. The government should pay more attention to the availability, feasibility and convenience of work infrastructure and conduct various training aimed at the school administrative staff in an effort to increase the capacity building of school administration personnel to work.

Abstract

This study aims to see a comparison between extracurriculars implemented in public and private elementary schools. As for observations in the field, namely looking at comparisons regarding planning, implementation, and assessment of mandatory and optional extracurriculars. Researchers used 2 schools, namely 172 Andir Kulon Public Elementary School and Bintang Madani Elementary School located in the city of Bandung. This extracurricular aims to develop and train students' interests and skills outside of their academic abilities and carried out outside of school activities. The method used in this study is to use qualitative research. The methods used are interviews and field observations. The results of this study show that there are differences from the two schools. The difference looks significant starting from the planning, implementation, and extracurricular assessment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Al-Qur’an learning using the Bil Qolam method in improving the ability to read the Qur’an at Nurul Ulum MAN Purworejo Dormitory, and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing Al-Qur’an learning using the Bil Qolam method. In improving the ability to read the Qur’an in Nurul Ulum MAN Purworejo dormitory. The type of research used is dercriptive qualitative. The process of collecting data trough observation, interviewa, and documentation. The research results sgow that: 1) the implementation of the Bil Qolam method in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur’an at the Nurul Ulum MAN Purworejo Dormitory obtained good result, namely based on observations made by researches only 5% of student or 5 students from 54 students who have not been able to fully master the ability to read the Qur’an using the Bil Qolam method. 2) supporting factors in the application of the Bil Qolam method are the ability to read the Qur’an for students in the good category, the enthusiasm of the students, the support and motivation of the teacher, the Bil Qolam method is interesting, and can add to the insight and knowledge of the studentas. Abstract

Character education is efforts that are systematically designed and implemented in order to instill human behavioral values related to God Almighty, oneself, fellow human beings, the environment and nationality. The formation of the adolescent personality is related to many factors that influence it such as through education and self-control, emotional intelligence, the environment where blessings/work, conditions and self-discipline, the ability to manage oneself/emotions, the ability to face the situation at hand, and much more that can support the person. Character building is an effort to build and shape a person's morals and ethics to be good. This community service aims to develop the abilities of adolescents in an effort to build positive character. The method in this service is to provide training on Character Building to the cadres of the Mekarmukti Youth Posyandu, North Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, which totals 51 people. The participants before and after the training were given evaluations related to understanding Character Building. After providing training on Character Building, there is an increase in knowledge about Character Building, so that participants can understand the importance of building positive character in themselves.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Improving Student Learning Outcomes with the Poster Making Project on Norms". The subjects of this study were all class VII A students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Karangpandan for the 2022/2023 academic year. The purposes of this study were: (1) To find out the learning outcomes of class VII A students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Karangpandan before learning was carried out with the poster-making project, (2) To find out how the poster-making project could improve student learning outcomes for class VII A students at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Karangpandan, and (3) to find out the results of increasing student learning outcomes in class VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Karangpandan after learning by making a poster making project on the subject matter of Norma. Based on the aspects to be achieved, the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method was used in this study because in general CAR is very suitable for improving the quality of research subjects. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the poster making project could improve student learning outcomes on the subject of Norms

Abstract

The motivation behind this examination is to figure out the preparation, execution, assessment and arrangements in working on the exhibition of grade teachers. This study utilizes a subjective methodology. The assortment of information got from different sources, foundations, and different techniques in this examination is through library research. The consequences of this review demonstrate that working on the presentation of primary teachers through the administration of the head at SDN Pengantingan Batang Arah Tapan, to be specific in arranging the school chief makes a yearly everyday schedule (RKTS) that concerns 8 instructive norms, gives SKP rules (representative execution focuses) toward the starting year as a rule for educator evaluation by school directors and DP3 which concerns instructor conduct appraisal, by and by holding and including instructors in logical gatherings like instruction and preparing (redesigning/inservice preparing, studios and courses), in the assessment the Chief regulates the training of the educators (class visit strategies, confidential discussions, and gathering conversations), as well as endeavors made by the Head as a supervisor in further developing execution is to fabricate great correspondence with all educators in building a useful work culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) program in Nagari Batang Arah Tapan. The method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach to analyze the implementation of the cash transfer program in Nagari Batang Arah Tapan. The author collected various data regarding the BLT program which was carried out through literature review and interviews with the community and local nagari officials. Determination of the sample is done by using the unit of analysis method. The results of the research show that the implementation of the direct cash assistance program for the poor in Nagari Batang Arah Tapan has been implemented quite well. This can be seen from various measuring aspects, including aspects of policy standards and targets, resources, characteristics of the implementing agency, and the disposition of the implementer

Abstract

Nagari Batang Arah Tapan, which is in the Basa Ampek Balai Tapan sub-district, where the majority of the population owns UMKM businesses but has limited knowledge in marketing and promotion. Of the many UMKM in Nagari Batang Arah Tapan, there are obstacles that are often experienced, namely media promotion facilities for the location and product information produced, in this case a google maps UMKM mapping application is needed in Nagari Batang Arah Tapan as a means of finding UMKM locations. The purpose of the service is to socialize the use of Google Maps to the people in Nagari Batang Arah Tapan who have businesses. The results of the dedication carried out were an increase in ability to carry out promotions and marketing, especially the use of Google Maps as a means of promotional media. The impact after the implementation of the UMKM Socialization experienced an increase in knowledge of using the Google Maps application by 45% compared to the pretest score

Abstract

The people's gold mining activities in Huta Dame Village, Kotanopan Utara District, Mandailing Natal are still very simple. The purpose of this study was to analyze the TSS and pH parameters around the gold mining area so that they comply with quality standards. This research method is by interviews and direct observation to the field. The results of the analysis showed that the quality of acid mine drainage before treatment was 4.26 and after the addition of quicklime in 1 gram it was still acidic but in the addition of quicklime in the 65th minute (3 grams) a pH of 6.02 was obtained and it met the quality standard. The addition of 1 and 3 grams of alum is still acidic and this can cause the air in the mining environment to be corrosive due to the large amount of heavy metals originating from rocks which can cause environmental damage, due to excessive use of mercury resulting in the emergence of acid mine drainage. The addition of 1 and 3 grams of quicklime, TSS values 48 & 38 mg/l . The TSS values for the addition of 1 & 3 grams of alum were 20 & 28 mg/l and met the quality standards. Thus the use of quicklime in gold mining waste is more effective than the use of alum as an acid mine drainage treatment method.
