Abstract

The implementation of education in Indonesia is none other than to produce a golden generation that is intelligent and has noble character. Intelligence possessed not only in the academic field, but must be spiritually intelligent. The current moral degradation is caused by many triggering factors. The most visible factor is the increasing sophistication of information and communication technology which has not been utilized properly by the community and youth, and the association of adolescents that is too free so that spiritual intelligence has not been formed. Spiritual intelligence needs to be instilled from an early age, one of which is by forming gratitude as the foundation of educational values. Gratitude needs to be trained for every human being under any circumstances, because gratitude is not only spoken but must be manifested by concrete actions. This research is a library research or library research, in this case the researcher looks for sources and data from books, journals, and commentary books that are in accordance with the research title. This is in accordance with the content of QS Al-Fatihah related to the educational values in it. The results of this study include the value of aqidah (tauhid) education, sharia education, religious education, moral education and historical education.

Abstract

The problem of difficulty in reading the Qur'an and anything the hindrances for students must receive attention, not only for students at the elementary level but also for students at the junior and senior secondary levels. This research intends to determine the application of mentoring programs in improving the ability to read the Qoran, and to find out about supporting and inhibiting factors. This research used a qualitative-descriptive method and a phenomenological-naturalistic approach in MTs Al Islam Jamsaren Surakarta. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis techniques. Then, to test data validity, the researcher used triangulation techniques/methods. The result showed that the implementation of mentoring the Qur’an in MTs Al Islam Jamsaren Surakarta runs well. It is evidenced by the increasing of student’s quality of reading the Qur’an. Supporting factors of the success are enthusiasti, self-awareness, mandatory programand parent’s role. While the constraints are limited time and unconducive place.

Abstract

Kasus kekerasan seksual di pesantren kembali terjadi adanya, masyarakat umum ataupun pemerintah dibuat kaget atas terjadinya pelecehan seksual yang dialami oleh 13 orang santriwati yang berada di daerah Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kebijakan pemerintah dalam mencegah kekerasan seksual di lingkungan pesantren dan apa saja yang melatar belakangi kekerasan seksual bisa terjadi di lingkungan pesantren. Metode penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif studi pustaka, untuk metode analisisnya dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan adalah kekerasan seksual yang terjadi di pesantren disebabkan oleh penyalahgunaan relasi kuasa seorang ustadz ke muridnya serta belum adanya aturan secara khusus dari pemerintah untuk mencegah kekerasan seksual di pesantren. Saran yang diberikan dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat lebih cermat memilih pesantren yang jelas sanad keilmuan Kiai nya dan untuk pemerintah perlu secepatnya membuat aturan khusus ataupun merivisi UU No. 18 Tahun 2019 tentang pesantren agar dapat menambahkan kebijakan mengenai pencegahan dan penanggulangan kekerasan seksual di pesantren.

Abstract

One of the important factors that influence student activity in learning is motivation. Ideally, every student has a strong motivation in following each subject, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). However, the reality is that there are still many students who are demotivated in learning PAI. This happens because in the PAI learning process it is only a transfer of material and is rote. Thus, teachers need to strive for learning that is in harmony with how the brain works so that students are motivated to learn PAI. This study aims to describe the design of brain-based learning (Brain Based Learning). This research is in the form of library research using a descriptive analytical approach to the Brain Based Learning themes of Eric Jensen's thinking. In this study it was found that to increase students' learning motivation with a Brain Based Learning model, the following steps could be taken: pre-exposure, preparation, initiation/acquisition, elaboration, memory formation, reinforcement, celebration and integration

Abstract

Managerial competence for school principals is one of the basic principles in managing educational institutions and developing a religious culture in schools. One of the backgrounds of this research is that the religious culture at SMP N 19 Merangin has become a real practice and a shared vision in educational institutions. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. Data sources were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and data verification. The result of this study is that the principal's managerial competence in developing a religious culture by emphasizing and managing resources at SMP N 19 Merangin. These resources are encouraged by planning and implementation by teachers and students as well as adequate learning facilities. Such as disciplinary attitudes, religious literature, and environmental support in the development of a religious culture. In addition, the development of a religious culture is practiced in the rules or regulations of students in the school environment, such as respecting religious differences, differences of opinion, and religious celebrations. The practice has become a living value that takes place in the daily lives of school members.

Abstract

Character education is currently still not optimally applied in the world of education, especially since it has entered the era of the industrial revolution era 4.0 where conditions are open without knowing the limitations of distance and time and it is easier to access any information, this can cause students to experience character decline, and this will have a negative impact on the development of the nation. With conditions like now, the world of education is more effective in solving character problems in students, especially in disciplined character education. In the application of character education, good cooperation between schools and parents is needed, with good cooperation, it is hoped that character education, especially disciplinary characters, can be embedded in students. There are two factors that can influence and shape discipline in students, namely: first internal factors, second external factors, from these two factors in order to be formed in students there must be a bond of cooperation between the school, parents and the environment /community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam novel Sang Juara karya Al Kadri Johan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode baca dan catat dan dianalisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 18 nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel Sang Juara, meliputi 1) religus, 2) jujur, 3) toleransi, 4) disiplin, 5) kerja keras, 6) kreatif, 7) mandiri, 8) demokratis, 9) rasa ingin tahu, 10) semangat kerja keras, 11) cinta tanah air, 12) menghargai prestasi, 13) bersahabat atau komunikatif, 14) cinta damai, 15) gemar membaca, 16) peduli lingkungan, 17) peduli sosial, 18) tanggung jawab. Dari hasil analisis 18 nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kutipan novel Sang Juara karya Al Kadri Johan ini dapat diimplikasikan pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VI, sesuai KD 3.20 menganalisis pesan dari dua buku fiksi ( novel dan puisi)yang telah dibaca. Setelah mempelajari materi ini, siswa dapat mempelajari nilai pendidikan karakter. Perserta didik juga dapat menemukan nilai pendidikan karakter dalam novel. Berdasarkan temuan itu, novel Sang Juara layak dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran sastra di sekolah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah karena mengandung banyak nilai pendidikan.

Abstract

Based on the results of research observations at SMA Negeri 2 lumajang in class XIC in Islamic religious education subjects do not get serious attention from students, so they often leave class, permission to go to the bathroom, sleep in class as the reason. This research aims to find out about the use of the jigsaw method in increasing the learning activity of grade XIC students in PAI subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang. By using the Classroom Action Research method. The object of the study was class XIC students of SMA Negeri 2 Lumajang with a total of 36 students. This research was carried out as many as two cycles, each cycle was carried out for 1 meeting. the Classroom Action Research is prepared based on field data using a qualitative approach. The results showed that the learning process using the jigsaw method had a positive impact on increasing learning activity that occurred in students in cycle I and cycle II. The increase in active indicators in cycle I averaged aspects of paying attention / listening to teachers' explanations in cycle I reached 82.8 and in cycle II rose to 84.8, aspects of reading material in cycle I reached 84.7 and in cycle II rose to 86.3 aspects of discussing with groups in cycle I reached 79.9 and in cycle II to 86.5, and aspects of working with groups in cycle I reached 80 and in cycle II to 84.11. The other supporting data is the learning outcomes of students in this case the researcher provides practice questions. And the average of learning outcomes in cycle I was 93.3 and in cycle II increased to 97.7

Abstract

This study examines the strategy of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in fostering a religious culture in students at MIN 11 Banda Aceh. This research is a qualitative study with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of PAI teachers, madrasah heads, and students in grades II, V, and VI, totaling 73 people. The results showed that PAI teachers instill a religious culture through habituation strategies, exemplary motivation, and open communication. The three central values developed include honesty, humility, and discipline. The value of honesty is instilled through teacher examples and contextual Islamic stories. The value of humility is strengthened through the 5S culture (smile, greeting, greeting, politeness, courtesy), visual media such as posters, and community involvement. Meanwhile, the value of discipline is developed through scouting activities, exemplary teachers, and persuasive approaches to enforcing rules. The study also found several internal obstacles, such as limited worship facilities and low student interest, and external, such as lack of communication with student guardians and the negative influence of digital media. This study recommends the need for synergy between madrasah, parents, and the community to support the implementation of a religious culture. Madrasahs are also advised to strengthen religious facilities and conduct character development more sustainably and participatory manner. This study is expected to be a reference in developing Islamic character education strategies in primary madrasahs.

Abstract

This study explores the management of superior Madrasa programs in improving the competitiveness of institutions at MTsN 1 and MTsN 2 Ponorogo. Both institutions have their own uniqueness that is not possessed by other institutions, including a history of consistent competitiveness since their establishment in 1979. The focus of this study is on the planning, organization, implementation, and supervision of superior Madrasa programs. The study used a multi-site study method with a phenomenological approach and field research type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation studies, with snowball sampling techniques for selecting informants. The results of the study indicate that the planning of superior Madrasa programs involves mapping the talents and interests of students, developing a comprehensive curriculum, innovative learning methods, and teacher coaching. Organization is carried out through the formation of a special team, determining the structure and tasks, and monitoring and evaluation. Implementation involves student selection, curriculum implementation, innovative learning methods, intensive guidance, and comprehensive assessment. Supervision includes the formation of a special supervision team and the implementation of periodic supervision, as well as providing recommendations to related parties. This study confirms Henry Fayol's theory of management functions, namely planning, organizing, commanding, coordinating, and controlling. This finding provides an important contribution to the development of educational management in superior Madrasas to improve the competitiveness of institutions.
