Abstract

The purpose of this study, (1) Knowing the feasibility of android-based Arabic learning media with interactive learning theory to improve the learning outcomes of class X MA Al Huda Kediri City students. (2)Knowing the effectiveness of Arabic learning media based on Android to improve the learning outcomes of students in class X MA Al Huda Kota Kediri. This type of research and development in this study uses the type of Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluate). The instruments in this study are Observation, Interview, Questionnaire Assessment of Media Experts, Material Experts and Construct Experts, Tests, and Documentation. The sample used was one Class X as an experimental class for large-scale trials with 15 students. Data were analyzed qualitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The feasibility of android-based learning media can be seen from the average assessment of the Material validation test of 98.65%, Media validation test of 92.5%, Construct validation test of 96.7%. The feasibility test of the android-based learning media is each classified with very feasible criteria. (2) The effectiveness of android learning media in improving learning outcomes is a significant difference between before and after using android learning media. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon statistical test, there is an increase in learning outcomes with an average increase (mean rank) of 7.50. While the difference in the significance of the Post Test value of student learning outcomes against the Pre Test value of student learning outcomes is 0.001 <0.05, with the conclusion that the hypothesis is accepted, namely there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students who use android-based learning media, and the use of android-based learning media is effective. The implications of android learning media for Arabic language learning can be seen based on the analysis of the use of class X android-based Arabic learning media, making the learning process more effective, delivering interesting material and learning methods more interactive. So that the need for interesting and interactive android-based learning media has a positive impact on Arabic language learning class X MA Al Huda Kota Kediri.

Abstract

Learning Arabic is a learning that most people consider difficult, because Arabic is inseparable from the science of nahwu. And the basis of nahwu knowledge that is commonly used by Islamic boarding schools is the book of Jurumiyah, because the book is considered the simplest and easiest to explain and usually the learning of the book of Jurumiyah is carried out in Islamic boarding schools but this is done in madrasas or formal institutions, and every learning must have advantages and disadvantages, one of which is in the study of the book of Jurumiyah. The formulation of this research problem is how the learning process of the book of jurumiyyah for grade 9 students at Mts Islamiyah Sukoharjo Plemahan Kediri, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of learning the book of Jurumiyah for grade 9 students at Mts Islamiyah Sukoharjo Plemahan Kediri. This study uses a qualitative research approach that is descriptive. Research Place at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, grade 9 students at Mts Islamiyah Sukoharjo Plemahan Kediri. The data sources came from the school principal, the teacher of the teacher, the Arabic teacher and the 9th grade students. The method of data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research on the study of the book of jurumiyah for grade 9 students at Mts Islamiyah Sukoharjo Plemahan Kediri have the goal of providing students with a basic understanding of the rules of nahwu used in Arabic, in the learning of the book of Jurumiyah the teacher uses the bandongan method. As for the reason for using this jurumiyah book because this book is the most famous book in all circles and the easiest for beginners or beginners, this jurumiyah learning is carried out 1 time for 1 week and has been included in the madrasah curriculum. Meanwhile, the advantages in the learning process of the book of Jurumiyah students are able to understand qowaid correctly. And the shortcomings in the learning process of the book of Jurumiyah are that the material taught focuses on qowaid so that students do not delve too deeply when learning Arabic.

Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar merupakan bagian terpenting dalam pendidikan. Pendidikan pada hakekatnya adalah usaha sadar melalui kegiatan bimbingan, pengajaran atau latihan yang berlangsung di sekolah untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik agar dapat memahami peranan dalam berbagai lingkungan hidup secara tepat. Dari hasil pengamatan yang pernah dilakukan, Dari hasil observasi tersebut diketahui bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar Bahasa Arab disebabkan karena beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, diantaranya metode pembelajaran yang digunakan pendidik kurang bervariasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektivitas model Tgt terhadap peningkatan kompetensi menulis Bahasa Arab siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Kediri. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen.Data yang diperoleh berupa angka pretes dan postes yang digunakan sebelum dan sesudah respon menggunakan model TGT .Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu:uji Validitas, uji Reliabilitas , Uji Normalitas (Kolmogorf smirnove), Uji Homogenitas ,dan Uji T . Hasil peneitian ini menunjukkan bahwa:1) penggunaan TGT dalam meningkatkan penguasaan maharah kitabah sudah dibilang baik. 2) hasil dari uji IBM SPSS versi 27 menunjukkan uji normalitas diperolih sig 0,200 > 0,05 yang berarti data yang diperoleh normal. Hasil post-test menggunakan model TGT lebih tinggi daripada pre-test kelas eksperimen dengan nilai rata-rata 83,16 dan pada kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 76,16 . Pada tabel 4.6 nilai Sig. (2-tailed) yang diperoleh adalah 0,005 <0, 05. Karena data hasil uji hipotesis kurang dari 0,05 maka hipotesis penelitian yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini Diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan TGT efektiv dalam peningkatan kompetensi menulis siswa kelas 11 MAN 2 Kota Kediri.

Abstract

Teaching Arabic in Indonesia often challenges fostering practical language skills, particularly at Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and universities. The Language Immersion method, which involves intensively using the target language in natural situations, offers an appealing alternative to enhance Arabic proficiency. While several studies have discussed this method, there remains a gap in its systematic application in academic settings. This study aims to explore the approach and implementation of the Language Immersion method in Arabic teaching at UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. It employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research locus is the Arabic Language Education Program at UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember, with lecturers and students as subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the language immersion method significantly improves Arabic students' speaking, reading, and listening skills. Through discussions, role-playing, and presentations, students learn contextually. However, challenges such as lecturer consistency, limited resources, and the need for Arabic-speaking environments outside the classroom must be addressed for optimal results.

Abstract

This analytical rhetorical study explores the concept of brevity (Ijaz) and elaboration (Itnaab) within Arabic literature and the Qur'an. Ijaz, or brevity, is defined as the expression of a substantial meaning through few words, which, despite their conciseness, fully convey the intended message. In contrast, Itnaab, or elaboration, refers to the art of extending and expanding on a meaning through additional words, providing deeper clarification or emphasis. Both linguistic phenomena serve distinct rhetorical purposes in enhancing the communication of ideas, whether through subtlety or emphasis. The study delves into examples from classical Arabic literature and the Qur'anic text, illustrating how each technique plays a vital role in effective expression. Through a detailed analysis of various passages, this study highlights the balance between conciseness and elaboration in Arabic rhetoric and their respective roles in conveying complex ideas, emotions, and theological concepts. The findings emphasize that both Ijaz and Itnaab contribute to the richness and depth of Arabic and Qur'anic discourse.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas metode silent way dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa arab siswa di Mts Raudlatisshibyan NW Belencong Lombok Barat serta untuk mengetahui peningkatan efesiensi penggunaan metode tersebut. Peneltian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen. teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes berupa pilihan ganda, lalu dalam uji instrumen menggunakan uji validitas, uji reabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran dan daya beda. Dalam penelitian ini untuk uji analisis data menggunkan uji t dan N gain, Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pengelolaan data menggunakan uji hipotesis (uji t) di peroleh Thitung> dari pada Ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, adapun penggunaan metode silent way menunjukkan adanya peningkatan di tandai dengan hasil N-Gain score yang dimana pengunaan metode silent way ini cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa arab pada siswa, hal ini membuktikan bahwa ada perbedaan dan peningkatan pada penggunaan metode silent way terhadap kemampuan berbahasa arab siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application and effectiveness of audio-visual media in improving the learning outcomes of maharoh kalam of class VIII students of MTs Ma'murotul Husna, by utilizing Audio-Visual media based on the Spinning-Wheel Application. The research method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a quantitative experimental research type. While the research design used is Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this case, the independent variable is audio-visual media based on the Spinning Wheel application and the dependent variable is the learning outcomes of maharoh kalam. Based on the results of the calculation of the difference test using paired sample t-test between the pre-test and post-test values. The results of the paired sample t-test in this study were 0.000 or with a significance level of 0.000 <0.005 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant difference during the pre-test and post-test of the experiment. These results indicate that the use of audio-visual media based on the Spinning Wheel application is effective in improving the learning outcomes of maharoh kalam class VIII MTs Ma'murotul Husna. So it can be concluded that: 1) the application of audio-visual media based on the spinning wheel application can facilitate an educator and help students in the learning process, 2) audio-visual media based on the Spinning Wheel application is effective in improving the learning outcomes of maharoh kalam of class VIII students of MTs Ma'murotul Husna. So, this shows that the application of audio-visual media based on the Spinning Wheel application is effective in significantly improving the learning outcomes of maharoh kalam in Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of theatrical methods in teaching Arabic to improve students' speaking skills at State Islamic Junior High School 2, Labuhan Batu Selatan, North Sumatra. This study employed a qualitative research method with descriptive analytical approach, the research collected data through interviews with teachers and students, direct observations, and document analysis. The results showed that the implementation of theatrical methods significantly improved students' fluency, confidence, and understanding of the material. This method also created a more interactive and lively learning environment. The success of the theatrical method heavily relies on the active role of the teacher in guiding and motivating students. This study makes an important contribution to the development of Arabic teaching methods by demonstrating that theatrical methods can effectively and contextually enhance students' speaking skills, with potential integration into Arabic language curricula in junior high schools.

Abstract

Nahwu (Arabic grammar) is a fundamental discipline in Islamic studies, particularly for understanding the Qur'an and Hadith. Debates regarding authoritative sources for establishing grammatical rules have long existed, with the concept of al-sima' (direct reception from eloquent native Arab speakers) being a primary foundation. This research aims to analyze the concept of al-sima' according to Imam Jalaluddin al-Suyuthi (d. 911 H/1505 M) in his work "Al-Iqtirah fi Ushul al-Nahwu". The method employed is a textual analysis of Al-Iqtirah and related literature. The findings indicate that Al-Suyuthi defines al-sima' as any speech trusted for its eloquence (fasahah), encompassing the Qur'an, Prophetic Hadith, and the speech of Arabs up to a certain period before linguistic corruption. The criteria for valid al-sima' include eloquence and source authenticity. Al-sima' has a close relationship with other nahwu sources such as qiyas (analogy), ijma' (consensus), and istishhab (presumption of continuity), with the Qur'an taking precedence in cases of conflict. Al-Suyuthi also applied al-sima' in linguistic analysis, including the acceptance of qira'at syadz (irregular Qur'anic readings) as proof (hujjah) as long as they do not contradict qiyas. In conclusion, al-sima' constitutes a primary authoritative source in Ushul An-Nahwi according to Al-Suyuthi, with clear criteria and applications in the formation of Arabic grammatical rules.

Abstract

Lexicography is a branch of applied linguistics that focuses on the compilation, analysis, and development of dictionaries or lexicons. In the context of Arabic language learning, lexicography has a strategic role as a bridge between linguistic theory and the practical needs of learners in understanding the meaning, use, and structure of Arabic vocabulary effectively. This study aims to explore the contribution of Arabic lexicography as part of applied linguistics in knowledge to support the development of Arabic language learning, especially for foreign speakers. This study uses library research with descriptive analysis used to examine various models of contemporary Arabic dictionaries and how they are applied in modern Arabic classes. The results of the study show that lexicography not only acts as a passive learning aid but can also be a medium for developing lexical and communicative competence. Such interactive electronic dictionaries provide great opportunities for facilitating learners with various learning styles. In addition, the development of corpus-based dictionaries has also been shown to increase the relevance of the context of vocabulary use according to actual needs. However, there are still challenges in integrating lexicography into the teaching curriculum, such as limited resources, lack of training for teachers, and the need for innovation in user-friendly dictionary design. Therefore, synergy is needed between lexicographers, teaching material developers, and education practitioners in designing applicable lexicographic instruments. This study concludes that Arabic lexicography is an important pillar in applied linguistics that has great potential to support functional and communicative Arabic language mastery.
