Abstract

Education is something that humans really need, which aims to form good and virtuous people according to the ideals and values ??of society and to make the life of the nation more intelligent. This research aims to determine and analyze training and teaching experiences to improve teacher professionalism at the Al-Murabbi Islamic boarding school, Pontianak City. The focus of the research is 1) Increasing teacher professionalism competency through innovative learning model training, 2) Teaching experience on teacher professionalism competency, 3) Application of training and teaching experience to teacher professionalism at the Al-Murabbi Islamic boarding school, Pontianak City. The method used is qualitative descriptive to look for the breadth of the nature, character and climate of the organization. The data used is observing, analyzing research objects in training at Islamic boarding schools. Data collection through interviews, documentation and observation, data validity through observer diligence, references and member checks. Conclusions obtained from the research, 1) Teachers receive basic training; basic training in the form of making lesson plans, curriculum, using online systems when teaching and techniques when teaching. 2) Rank training; Rank training in the form of discipline, good quality lessons, innovation and creativity in teaching to students and female students at the Al-Murabbi Islamic Boarding School, Pontianak City. Pendidikan merupakan sesuatu yang sangat dibutuhkan manusia, yang bertujuan untuk membentuk manusia yang baik dan berbudi luhur menurut cita-cita dan nilai-nilai dari masyarakat serta untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan analisa pengalaman pelatihan dan mengajar untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru pada pondok pesantren Al-Murabbi Kota Pontianak. Fokus penelitian ialah 1)  Peningkatan Kompetensi profesinalisme guru melalui pelatihan model Pembelajaran inovatif, 2) Pengalaman mengajar pada Kompetensi profesionalisme guru, 3) Penerapan pengalaman pelatihan dan mengajar terhadap profesinalisme Guru pondok pesantren Al-Murabbi Kota Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif mencari keluasan sifat, karakter dan iklim organisasi. Data yang digunakan ialah mengamati, analisis objek penelitian pada pelatihan di pondok Pesantren. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi, keabsahan data melalui ketekunan pengamat, referensi dan member check. Simpulan yang di dapat dari penelitian, 1) Guru-guru mendapatkan pelatihan dasar; pelatihan dasar berupa pembuatan RPP, kurikulum, mengunakan sistem online saat mengajar dan teknik-teknik saat mengajajar. 2) pelatihan Kepangkatan; pelatihan kepangkatan berupa kedisiplinan, mutu pelajaran yang baik, inovasi dan kreativitas mengajar kepada santri dan santriwati Pondok Pesantren Al-Murabbi Kota Pontianak.

Abstract

Schools' leadership must adapt to the era of societal development and digital technology with all its demands, impacts, and acceleration. One of the inevitabilities is a change in the school's vision. The new vision to become the core values ??of the school community's daily behavior and performance ethos requires innovative and strategic promotion so that the community can easily recognize, understand, and guide the attitudes and culture of school community interaction in the learning process. This research aims to describe the principal's strategic efforts in introducing a new school vision and the effectiveness of the publication media used in recognizing the vision at UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 2 Prajekan in 2022/2023. This research approach uses quantitative descriptive with random sampling, amounting to 192 respondents consisting of teachers, administrative staff, school committees, and students through a questionnaire. The research results show that (1). The strategic efforts of the school principal in introducing the school's vision at UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 2 Prajekan received a positive response from the school community with a popularity level of vision reaching 92.2%, vision acronym 90.6, understanding of vision 95.8, and user-friendly 97.4% with an average value of 94% (excellent). (2). The publication media used by the school principal in introducing the new vision of the UPTD SPF school at SMP Negeri 2 Prajekan proved effective with an average score of 97.17% (perfect) based on a criterion-referenced evaluation. Kepemimpinan di sekolah perlu mengadaptasi era perkembangan masyarakat dan teknologi digital dengan segala tuntutan, dampak, dan akselerasinya. Salah satu keniscayaan adalah adanya perubahan visi sekolah. Visi baru agar dapat menjadi nilai-nilai inti perilaku keseharian dan etos kinerja warga sekolah membutuhkan promosi yang inovatif dan strategis sehingga warga sekolah dengan mudah dapat mengenal, memahami, dan menjadi pedoman sikap dan budaya interaksi warga sekolah dalam proses pembelajaran.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan upaya-upaya strategis kepala sekolah dalam mengenalkan visi baru sekolah dan efektifitas media publikasi yang digunakan dalam pengenalan visi di UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 2 Prajekan tahun 2022/2023. Pendekatan penelitan ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan random sampling yang berjumlah 192 responden terdiri dari guru, tenaga administrasi, komite sekolah, dan siswa melalui angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1). Upaya-upaya strategis kepala sekolah dalam mengenalkan visi sekolah di UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 2 Prajekan mendapat respon positif dari warga sekolah dengan tingkat popularitas visi mecapai 92,2 %, akronim visi 90,6, pemahaman visi 95,8, dan ramah pengguna (user friendly) 97,4% dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 94% (sangat baik). (2). Media publikasi yang digunakan kepala sekolah dalam mengenalkan visi baru sekolah UPTD SPF SMP Negeri 2 Prajekan terbukti efektif dengan pencapaian rata-rata nilai sebesar 97,17% (sangat baik) berdasarkan penilaian acuan kriteria (citerion referenced evaluation).

Abstract

Management of curriculum is an important thing to pay attention to because it contributes to realizing institutional goals in educational institutions, such as the Arabic language program for medical and health students at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim, Malang. This research aims to find out how the Arabic language program curriculum management is implemented at Mabna Ar-Razzi, Batu, and the problems of its implementation in the 2023 academic year. The subject of this research is the language division at Mabna Ar-Razzi. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study type of research. Meanwhile, the data collection technique uses observation of Arabic language program activities, interviews with the language division and documentation containing a schedule of Arabic language program activities. The results of this research show that the implementation of the Arabic language program curriculum management at Mabna Ar-Razzi, Batu is going well with various kinds of skills-supporting activities and Arabic language elements. The problem in implementing this program is the lack of supervision and lack of active participation from students. Manajemen kurikulum merupakan suatu hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan karena memiliki kontribusi dalam merealisasikan sebuah tujuan institusional pada lembaga pendidikan seperti halnya pada lembaga program bahasa Arab untuk mahasiswa kedokteran dan kesehatan di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum program bahasa Arab di mabna Ar-Razzi, Batu dan problematika pelaksanannya pada tahun ajaran 2023. Subjek penelitian ini ialah devisi bahasa yang ada di mabna Ar-Razzi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deksriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Sedangkan tehnik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi terhadap kegiatan program bahasa Arab, wawancara kepada devisi bahasa dan dokumentasi berisi jadwal kegiatan program bahasa Arab. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum program bahasa Arab di mabna Ar-Razzi, Batu berjalan dengan baik dengan berbagai macam kegiatan penunjang ketrampilan dan unsur bahasa Arab. Sedangkan problematika yang ada dalam pelaksanaan program ini adalah kurangnya pengawasan dan partisipasi aktif dari siswa.

Abstract

Alumni have an important role in the development of the boarding school, especially as a connector of information in the form of personal promotion, so the attachment of alumni and the boarding school must be maintained and maximally empowered. Alumni also become the mediators of the boarding school in promoting it to the community in accordance with the function of alumni in building a good image of the boarding school. This research focuses on 1) how the role of alumni as mediators and personal promotion strategies. 2) What is the boarding school's promotion strategy through alumni? This research uses descriptive qualitative research through data collection techniques based on the results of observations and interviews in the field related to the required data. The results of this study indicate that the role of alumni is very influential in conveying information at the boarding school, and the boarding school's strategy in carrying out promotions involves alumni as a conduit of information to the community regarding the boarding school. In addition, the strategy is carried out by providing reinforcement to alumni when going into the community to invite continuing education to the boarding school based on good manners. Alumni memiliki peranan penting dalam perkembangan pondok pesantren terutama menjadi penyambung informasi dalam bentuk promosi secara personal sehingga keterikatan alumni dan pondok pesantren harus dijaga dan diberdayakan secara maksimal. Alumni juga menjadi mediator pondok pesantren dalam mempromosikannya kepada masyarakat sesuai dengan fungsi alumni dalam membangun citra yang baik dari pondok pesantrennya. Penelitian ini fokus 1) bagaimana peran alumni sebagai mediator dan strategi promosi secara personal. 2) bagaimana strategi promosi pondok pesantren melalui alumni. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif secara deskriptif melalu teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dilapangan terkait data yang diperlukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran alumni sangat berpengaruh dalam menyampaikan informasi dipondok pesantren dan strategi pondok pesantren dalam melaksanakan promosi melibatkan alumni sebagai penyambung informasi kepada masyarakat terkait pondok pesantrennya.Selain itu strategi yang dilakukan dengan cara memberikan penguatan kepada alumni ketika terjun ke masyarakat untuk mengajak melanjutkan pendidikan ke pondok pesantren dengan berlandaskan akhlakul karimah.

Abstract

By the mandate of development reform in the context of saving the normalization of national life as the direction of the state, education cannot be separated from educational elements, including educators, parents, students, facilities and infrastructure, society, and educational goals. Starting from the context of the problem that will be solved in this thesis research, the focus is on what problems teachers and parents make in fostering student ethics at MA Sunan Giri Krucil and what form of synergy teachers and parents take in fostering student ethics at MA Sunan Giri Krucil. Researchers used interview, observation, and documentation methods to collect data. They used qualitative descriptive analysis to analyze the data collected in this thesis. In several discussions that have been presented with several analyses and various theories used, the author can draw conclusions related to the Synergy of Teachers and Parents in the Ethical Development of Students at MA Sunan Giri, Krucil Village, Krucil District, Probolinggo Regency, namely the efforts of teachers and parents in fostering student ethics, including students coming to school on time, student study results when completing assignments from the teacher. Then, additional hours are attended by students, assignments given by the teacher are completed, the interaction between parents and teachers, fulfillment of learning tools, and the atmosphere within the family. The obstacles for teachers and parents in developing student ethics at MA Sunan Giri, Krucil Village, Krucil District, Probolinggo Regency, namely that MA students are adults. They are reluctant to be asked to study because social media influence them. Influence by friends, children studying are disturbed by homework and student conditions, and sometimes students are in a stall when entering class. Sesuai dengan amanat reformasi pembangunan dalam rangka penyelamatan normalisasi kehidupan Nasional sebagai haluan negara, dalam pendidikan tidak terlepas dari unsur pendidikan diantaranya pendidik, orang tua, peserta didik, sarana dan prasarana, masyarakat dan tujuan pendidikan. Bertolak dari kontek pemasalahan yang akan di pecahkan dalam penelitian skripsi ini di fokuskan dalam masalah apa saja usaha-usaha guru dan orang tua dalam pembinaan etika siswa di MA Sunan Giri Krucil dan bagaimana bentuk sinergitas guru dan orang tua dalam membina etika siswa di MA Sunan Giri Krucil, Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, dalam menganalisis data yang terkumpul dalam skripsi ini menggunakan analis Diskriptif Kualitatif. Dalam beberapa pembahasan yang telah di paparkan dengan beberapa analisa dan berbagai teori yang di gunakan, maka penulis dapat menarik kesimpulan terkait dengan Sinergitas Guru dan Orang Tua Dalam Pembinaan Etika Siswa DI MA Sunan Giri Desa Krucil Kecamatan Krucil Kabupaten Probolinggo yaitu usaha guru dan orang tua dalam membina etika siswa, diantaranya siswa itu datang ke sekolah tepat waktu, Hasil studi siswa ketika menyelesaikan tugas dari guru. Kemudian adanya jam tambahan yang diikuti oleh siswa, Tugas yang diberikan oleh guru terselesaikan, Interaksi orang tua dengan guru, pemenuhan alat belajar kemudian suasana didalam keluarga. Adapun hambatan-hambatan guru dan orang tua dalam membina etika siswa di MA Sunan Giri Desa Krucil kecamatan krucil Kabupaten Probolinggo yaitu siswa MA itu sudah dewasa dan enggan jika disuruh belajar karena dipengaruhi oleh media sosial. Pengaruh dari teman, Terkadang anak sedang belajar diganggu dengan tugas-tugas rumah, Kondisi siswa, Ketika masuk kelas terkadang siswa ada di warung.

Abstract

This study aims at exploring the Malaysian Islamic secondary school principals’ leadership challenges. To respond to the study aim, a qualitative method using some series of interview were applied among seven leaders of Islamic Secondary Schools. The informers were selected based on some criteria such as the length of service as a leader and leadership knowledge. The   data that were analyzed using thematic analysis  reported   seven challenges of Malaysian Islamic secondary school principals’ leadership, namely: (i) lack of knowledge, in particular, the field of school management such as finance, IT, asset,  data  and information,   (ii) lack of management skill to figure out conflicts regarding  incentive differences among senior and novice teachers, (iii) lack of collaboration among stakeholders, (iv) need to allocate more finance for the program of competency development such as enhancing novice teachers’ pedagogical skills, (v) lack of  managing   boarding students with the useful programs, (vi) less concern to support some Ministry of Education’s policies, and (vii) less concern on the changing environment, in particular, the field of pedagogical changes for the post pandemic. The implication of this study is to be aware for the educational stakeholders, in particular, the school principals, to take into account this study findings in order to make self-improvement for enhancing the students learning and school achievement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tantangan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menengah Islam di Malaysia. Untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian, metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan serangkaian wawancara diterapkan pada tujuh pemimpin Sekolah Menengah Islam. Informan dipilih berdasarkan beberapa kriteria seperti lama masa kerja sebagai pemimpin dan pengetahuan kepemimpinan. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik melaporkan tujuh tantangan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menengah Islam di Malaysia, yaitu: (i) kurangnya pengetahuan, khususnya, bidang manajemen sekolah seperti keuangan, TI, aset, data dan informasi, (ii) kurangnya kemampuan manajemen untuk mengatasi konflik terkait perbedaan insentif antara guru senior dan guru pemula, (iii) kurangnya kolaborasi di antara para pemangku kepentingan, (iv) perlu mengalokasikan lebih banyak dana untuk program pengembangan kompetensi seperti peningkatan keterampilan pedagogis guru pemula, (v) kurang mengelola siswa berasrama dengan program yang bermanfaat, (vi) kurang mendukung kebijakan Kementerian Pendidikan, dan (vii) kurang peduli terhadap perubahan lingkungan, khususnya perubahan pedagogis pascapandemi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah agar para pemangku kepentingan pendidikan, khususnya kepala sekolah, dapat mempertimbangkan temuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan perbaikan diri dalam rangka meningkatkan pembelajaran dan prestasi sekolah.

Abstract

Teachers' abilities influence the effectiveness of learning, but their performance could be better, reducing the quality of schools. The 2015-2021 Teacher Professional Test showed that 81% of teachers still needed to achieve the minimum score. The poor performance of supervisors due to their small number also exacerbates the problem. Improving the quality of supervision through altruistic leadership, motivation, professionalism, and work culture is crucial to improving the quality of education in Indonesia. This study investigates whether there is a relationship between altruistic leadership and achievement motivation on the performance of supervisors of North Aceh District Ibtidayah Madrasahs. This study used a mixed method sequential explanatory approach with a Path Analysis research model with an associative research type. Data were collected through questionnaires from 150 respondents in 14 A accredited Madrasah Ibtidayah. This study found that 1) altruistic leadership on supervisor performance (original sample) is 0.630, which means there is a positive influence between the two variables. Then, the resulting t-count value is 7.185, which means that these results are said to be significant because the t-count value is greater than the t-table (7.185> 1.96), or it can be said that the hypothesis is accepted. 2) the effect of achievement motivation variables on supervisor performance (original sample) is 2.224, which means there is a positive influence between the two variables. Then, the resulting t-count value is 2.511, which means that these results are said to be significant because the t-count value is greater than the t-table (2.511> 1.96), or it can be said that the hypothesis is accepted. This study concludes that a significant relationship exists between altruistic leadership and improving supervisors' performance, and achievement motivation has a positive influence. A significant relationship exists between improving supervisors' performance in North Aceh Regency. Kemampuan guru mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran, tetapi kinerja mereka bisa lebih baik, sehingga mengurangi kualitas sekolah. Uji Profesi Guru tahun 2015-2021 menunjukkan bahwa 81% guru masih perlu mencapai nilai minimum. Kinerja pengawas yang buruk karena jumlah mereka yang sedikit juga memperparah masalah ini. Meningkatkan kualitas pengawasan melalui kepemimpinan altruistik, motivasi, profesionalisme, dan budaya kerja sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menyelidiki apakah ada hubungan antara kepemimpinan altruistik dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja pengawas Madrasah Ibtidayah Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksplanatori sekuensial metode campuran dengan model penelitian Analisis Jalur (Path Analysis) dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari 150 responden di 14 Madrasah Ibtidayah yang terakreditasi A. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksplanatori sekuensial metode campuran dengan model penelitian Path Analysis dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari 150 responden di 14 Madrasah Ibtidayah terakreditasi A. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa 1) kepemimpinan altruistik terhadap kinerja pengawas (original sample) sebesar 0,630 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh positif antara kedua variabel tersebut. Kemudian, nilai t-hitung yang dihasilkan sebesar 7,185, yang berarti hasil tersebut dikatakan signifikan karena nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel (7,185 > 1,96), atau dapat dikatakan hipotesis diterima. 2) pengaruh variabel motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja supervisor (original sample) sebesar 2,224 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh positif antara kedua variabel tersebut. Kemudian, nilai t-hitung yang dihasilkan sebesar 2,511 yang berarti hasil tersebut dikatakan signifikan karena nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel (2,511 > 1,96), atau dapat dikatakan hipotesis diterima. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan altruistik dengan peningkatan kinerja supervisor, dan motivasi berprestasi memiliki pengaruh yang positif. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara peningkatan kinerja pengawas di Kabupaten Aceh Utara.

Abstract

Conflict management is nothing but the efforts that need to be made to prevent and avoid conflicts, reduce risks, and not interfere with organizational performance. The purpose of this study is 1) To analyze the actions of the School Principal in managing conflicts between teachers and students, 2) To analyze how the actions of the Principal in managing conflicts between teachers and teachers, 3) To find out the inhibiting and supporting factors of the Principal in managing conflicts that occur in Darussalam School. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of study. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis used qualitative analysis with the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity uses triangulation of techniques and sources. The results of this study are 1) The action of the Head of School in managing conflicts between teachers and students is to use several stages in managing conflicts, namely identifying conflicts, the next step is reducing conflicts by coordinating, and the last one is resolving the root of the conflict. 2) The action of the Principal in managing conflicts between teachers and teachers is to apply the confrontation approach method, the compromise method, and the integration method. 3) The inhibiting factor in managing conflicts is the existence of parties who do not want to cooperate and cover up the chronology of the conflict. The supporting factors are the teachers' excellent cooperation and a strong sense of kinship. Manajemen konflik tidak lain adalah upaya-upaya yang perlu dilakukan untuk mencegah dan menghindari konflik, mengurangi risiko, dan tidak mengganggu kinerja organisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk menganalisis tindakan Kepala Sekolah dalam mengelola konflik antara guru dengan siswa, 2) Untuk menganalisis bagaimana tindakan Kepala Sekolah dalam mengelola konflik antara guru dengan guru, 3) Untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung Kepala Sekolah dalam mengelola konflik yang terjadi di Sekolah Darussalam. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Tindakan Kepala Sekolah dalam mengelola konflik antara guru dengan siswa adalah dengan menggunakan beberapa tahapan dalam mengelola konflik, yaitu mengidentifikasi konflik, langkah selanjutnya adalah meredam konflik dengan melakukan koordinasi, dan yang terakhir adalah menyelesaikan akar konflik. 2) Tindakan Kepala Sekolah dalam mengelola konflik antara guru dengan guru adalah dengan menerapkan metode pendekatan konfrontasi, metode kompromi, dan metode integrasi. 3) Faktor penghambat dalam mengelola konflik adalah adanya pihak yang tidak mau bekerja sama dan menutup-nutupi kronologi konflik. Faktor pendukungnya adalah kerja sama para guru yang sangat baik dan rasa kekeluargaan yang kuat.

Abstract

The attractiveness of pesantren is determined through the quality of graduates. The talent interest factor requires innovative policy support. This study aims to explore the implementation of innovative leadership and describe the characteristics of innovative leadership in developing the potential of talented santri at Almuslim Peusangan Bireun Islamic boarding school. The sources of informants in this study are the head of the care sector, the head of the teaching sector, the supervisor of the santri organization, and the supervisor of the santri talent interest section. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach located at the Almuslim Peusangan Bireun Integrated Islamic Boarding School. The results of this study found that the leader of the Al Muslim integrated pesantren applies innovative leadership characteristics, 1) The innovations made are, a). Creating a digitalization program in learning, b). Creating a santri entrepreneur program, c). And increasing the potential of students. 2) Increasing the competence of santri is done through, a). External and internal support (cooperation), b). Development of individual potential, c). Development of institutional potential.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how optimizing press agentry based on Islamic boarding school values can improve the visibility of pesantren, audience engagement, and reputation through an integrated strategic approach. This study uses a qualitative approach of the case study type. The subjects of the study consisted of caregivers, heads of Islamic boarding schools, Islamic boarding school administrators, guardians of students, public relations, and students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that optimizing press agentry in pesantren can improve the visibility of institutions by utilizing modern technology, as long as the messages conveyed are in accordance with the character of the audience and still reflect the values of the Islamic boarding school. Effective use of technology can strengthen the image of Islamic boarding schools, but it is important to maintain a balance between modernity and tradition so that their Islamic identity is not disturbed. In conclusion, a communication strategy that combines Islamic boarding school values with technology can strengthen the visibility of institutions and build better relationships with stakeholders, without sacrificing the identity and basic principles of Islamic boarding schools.
