Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Regional Infrastructure Capital Expenditure disaggregated into Capital Expenditure on Equipment and Machinery (X1), Buildings (X2), and Roads, Networks, and Irrigation (X3) on the Open Unemployment Rate (Y2) through Non-Mining Economic Growth (Y1) as an intervening variable. The research employs an explanatory associative quantitative method with a Path Analysis approach. Fifteen years of annual time-series secondary data (2010–2024) were collected from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The regression results indicate that only Capital Expenditure on Buildings has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Conversely, economic growth has no significant effect on the open unemployment rate, which mathematically invalidates the mediation function in the Sobel Test. This condition provides empirical confirmation of the jobless growth anomaly in a resource-rich region. Another crucial finding shows that Capital Expenditure on Roads, Networks, and Irrigation has a direct, positive, and significant effect on increasing open unemployment, driven by the massive migration influx of job seekers into the buffer zone of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) that excludes the local workforce. The Government of Kutai Kartanegara Regency is recommended to re-engineer infrastructure procurement contract clauses to mandate local labor absorption and accelerate competence certification for the domestic workforce.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and provide evidence regarding the influence of financial literacy, heuristic bias, framing effect, cognitive illusions, and herd mentality on crypto investment decisions among crypto investors in Indonesia. Data were obtained from respondents who are crypto investors within the Indonesian crypto community, using a convenience sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression models using SPSS software. Testing was carried out through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and simultaneous and partial hypothesis tests. The results show that financial literacy, heuristic bias, framing effect, cognitive illusions, and herd mentality simultaneously have a significant influence on crypto investment decisions. Partially, these five variables also have a positive and significant influence on crypto investment decisions. These findings contribute to investors' understanding of the importance of improving financial literacy and the ability to manage psychological influences to make investment decisions more rational and measurable. Theoretically, this study supports behavioral finance theory, which explains that investment decisions are influenced by psychological and social factors, and the Theory of Planned Behavior, which emphasizes the role of knowledge in shaping attitudes and behavioral control that influence investment decisions.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of coffee shop businesses in Indonesia has intensified competition within the industry, making customer retention increasingly important for business sustainability. In this context, customer loyalty is shaped by multiple determinants, including environmentally oriented marketing practices and the level of trust in a brand. This research examines the role of green marketing and brand trust in influencing customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction acting as a mediating variable among Fore Coffee consumers in Surabaya. A quantitative approach was applied, and data were gathered from 100 respondents using a Likert-scale questionnaire through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis with IBM SPSS version 25. The findings reveal that both green marketing and brand trust significantly enhance customer satisfaction. Nevertheless, customer satisfaction does not demonstrate a significant effect on customer loyalty. In addition, no significant indirect effects were found from green marketing and brand trust on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction. These results imply that customer loyalty formation may be driven by additional factors beyond satisfaction alone.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test a Canva-based history learning tool and evaluate its effectiveness in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Pangkalpinang. The ADDIE paradigm, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, was used in the study's Research and Development (R&D) methodology. A single-group pretest-posttest efficacy test design was employed within a mixed-methods approach. Purposeful sampling was used to identify 36 eleventh-grade students as participants. A response questionnaire, an expert validation sheet, and learning outcome tests in the form of a pretest and posttest were among the research tools. N-Gain was used to examine quantitative data to identify changes in student learning outcomes. According to the data, the average pretest score of 64.00 increased to 90.50 on the posttest, and the average N-Gain score was 0.67, considered moderate. According to the distribution of N-Gain categories, 50% of students fell into the high group, 44% into the middle category, and 6% into the low category. These findings indicate that history learning materials created using Canva successfully improved students' cognitive learning outcomes. The visual, structured, and interactive presentation of the materials, which helped students understand historical ideas and events more systematically, impacted this progress. This study advances the creation of digital learning resources and provides a creative way to improve the standards of history teaching in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a digital technology-based recitation method in addressing students’ learning difficulties in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at Muhammadiyah High School in Bima City, as well as to analyze its supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used was qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the digital technology-based recitation method was carried out through three structured stages: the planning stage, which included selecting platforms such as Google Classroom, WhatsApp Groups, and YouTube; the implementation stage, which involved assigning varied tasks such as watching videos, recording recitations, and digital presentations; and the evaluation and follow-up stage, which included rubric-based assessment and periodic feedback. Supporting factors include teachers’ willingness to learn technology, students’ enthusiasm, and school facility support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include teachers’ limited time to develop content, uneven digital competencies among teachers, internet connection stability, students’ limited data quotas, and the temptation to use social media or play games. This study concludes that the digital technology-based recitation method is effective in helping students overcome learning difficulties, increasing independence and responsibility, and fostering a deeper understanding of Islamic Education (PAI) material.

The findings indicate that the forms of collaboration include the use of communication books based on daily worship reports, regular meetings between parents and teachers, home visits, and joint religious activities. Efforts to prevent adolescent deviant behavior are carried out through contextual PAI learning, religious habituation programs such as Dhuha prayer, congregational Dzuhur prayer, Qur’an recitation, and short religious talks, as well as the implementation of an early detection system and student mentoring. The challenges encountered include parents’ limited time due to economic factors, low levels of parental education, suboptimal supervision of gadget use, and differences in religious understanding. This study concludes that the established collaboration is fairly effective but not yet optimal; therefore, strengthening communication and increasing parents’ continuous involvement are necessary.
