Abstract

This study is based on the fact that reading corners are effective in fostering students' reading habits and creating a learning environment that supports literacy. Recommendations are given to schools to continue developing reading corner facilities and involving the entire school community in literacy programs.

Abstract

The Aru Islands Regency, located in Maluku Province, covers an area of 6,426.77 km² and has a population of 102,237. One of the infrastructure initiatives being carried out by the local government is the construction of the Marbali Bridge. This study focuses on the use of reinforced concrete as the primary construction material for the bridge. It includes calculations of various technical aspects, such as loading according to SNI 1725-2016, with a moment capacity (Mu) control of ≥ p (BGT intensity), reinforcement and T-beam dimensions with an Rn control of < Rmax, and evaluation of deflection in the T-beam with a load combination control of δ ≤ δ Max. The results indicate that the ultimate moment (Mu) in the beam is 4,273 kN/m, and the ultimate shear force is 729.91 kN. The flexural reinforcement consists of 12 bars of D32 mm, while the shear reinforcement uses 2 bars of D12 mm for D13-100 mm stirrups. Accordingly, the calculation results conform to the established standards and the technical requirements needed for the construction of this bridge.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the reading ability of students aged 7-8 years before and after using Kincir Pintar (Smart KINTAR) media in Indonesian language learning to improve reading ability at SDN Tenembak Alas, Southeast Aceh Regency. The research used is a type of classroom action research. The subjects used were all second grade students aged 7-8 years at SDN Tenembak Alas, totaling 26 students. The results of the pre-cycle research showed that children's reading ability still experienced problems in recognizing letters, memorizing and spelling letters. Of the 26 children, 19 children were categorized as unable to read (73%) and 7 children were able to master reading skills (27%). In the first cycle, data was obtained that 26 children's reading abilities were still low, 8 children were unable to read (31%) and 18 children were able to master reading skills (69%) as expected. In cycle II research was carried out by improving the difficulties faced by children to obtain maximum improvement. In cycle II there was a significant increase, of the 26 children in the very good reading ability category there were 22 people (84%) while in the category of mastering reading skills according to expectations there were 4 there are no children (16%) and there are no children in the not yet improved category.

Abstract

Job stress can affect an individual's performance and well-being at work. The pressure faced by employees, whether originating from excessive workloads, tight time demands, or unclear roles, can cause anxiety, fatigue, and decreased productivity. Prolonged work stress can lead to mental and physical health problems, such as sleep disorders, depression, and even heart problems. Therefore, it is important for companies to create a work environment that supports work-life balance and provides support to reduce stress, to ensure employees remain healthy, motivated and productive. This research approach uses quantitative survey methods. The research sample in this study used a population of all teachers at SMK Darunnajah 2 Cipining 33 Teachers. The research data collection technique was carried out using questionnaires and documentation. The research procedure begins with preparing the grid, preparing the instrument, carrying out a trial, the trial results are tested for validity and reliability, improving the instrument, then the instrument is used to retrieve data. The calculation results show the regression equation Ý = 26,888 + 0.517 Because the sig value. Fchange < 0.05, then the decision is H1: accepted and H0 rejected. This means it is significant. So it can be concluded that work ethic has a positive and significant effect on Teacher Work Commitment. The simple correlation coefficient value of rxy = 0.940 and the variance significance test is 85.4%, while the remaining 15.5% of teacher work commitment is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam tentang pelaksanaan program minat baca dalam mengembangkan gerakan literasi siswa dalam implementasi literasi informasi terhadap peran perpustakaan di SD Negeri 08 Indralaya Utara. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa (1) Program minat baca siswa telah diimplementasikan, namum belum optimal dan (2) sebagai bentuk dari optimalisasi diperpustakaan, sekolah masih berusaha untuk membuat kondisi perpustakaan lebih nyaman. Literasi informasi merupakan kemampuan individu dalam mengakses, mengevaluasi, menggunakan, dan berbagi informasi secara efektif. Perpustakaan di sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam membantu siswa mengembangkan keterampilan literasi informasi mereka. Melalui koleksi buku yang beragam, program-program literasi, dan kerja sama dengan guru, perpustakaan dapat menjadi tempat yang strategis bagi siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam mencari, mengevaluasi, dan menggunakan informasi secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana implementasi literasi informasi dapat meningkatkan peran perpustakaan di SD Negeri 08 Indralaya Utara dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan praktik literasi informasi di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Enhancing students' speaking skills specifically in expressing opinions, engaging in discussions, and delivering presentations requires innovative approaches in schools. This study aims to assess the improvement in students' speaking abilities and self-confidence through the implementation of the Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) learning model in Class VC at SD Negeri 105855 PTPN II Tanjung Morawa. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the phenomena occurring within the study's context. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the implementation of the ETH model has a positive impact, evidenced by the following outcomes: (1) students demonstrate effective collaboration, (2) students formulate relevant questions related to the learning material, and (3) students exhibit the courage to perform in front of the class and respond to inquiries from other groups. This model significantly enhances students' learning outcomes, fostering increased activity and enthusiasm during the learning process, as the employed strategies effectively engage their interest. Consequently, the Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) model has received positive feedback from students and is recommended for application by educators.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and media has had a significant impact on various aspects of society, including the use of good and correct language. Recently, a new trend has emerged among elementary school students, known as slang. Slang Refers to the use of informal language that often contains trendy terms in everyday conversation. Examples of common slang words used include "mantul", "santuy", and others. The use of this slang has triggered concerns in society about its impact on the development of Indonesian among elementary school students. This study aims to analyze the influence of slang on Indonesian, identify commonly used slang vocabulary, analyze the development of slang among lower grade students, and assess the positive and negative impacts of the use of slang. The research method used is a survey delivered to selected respondents, as well as a literature review of relevant books, magazines, and online sources. The novelty of this study lies in the exploration of how slang affects the development of Indonesian among elementary school students.

Abstract

The Ngelegi Besi Mersik ceremony is an important tradition in the Karo community, particularly in Namo Serit Village, Deli Serdang Regency. This ceremony aims to provide spiritual strength to the Tumbuk Lada knife through a blessing from the kalimbubu (family elders). This study analyzes the meaning of the speech acts in the ceremony using a semantic approach. Data were collected through literature study and observation of relevant sources. The analysis results indicate that the speech acts in this ceremony carry cultural values and philosophies of the Karo people, reflected in the choice of words, expressions, and symbolism used. A deep understanding of the meaning of these speech acts can enrich knowledge about oral traditions and the culture of the Karo community.

Abstract

The daurah program is a coaching space designed to grow the potential and hone the abilities of participants, both in terms of knowledge and morals. This article shows the development process of participants during the daurah, starting from understanding the material, discipline, until they one by one succeeded in achieving their respective targets. With a structured yet warm approach, participants showed significant progress in a relatively short time. This reflection not only records achievements, but also describes the growth process that is gone through with enthusiasm, learning together, and sincerity in seeking knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between learning motivation and students' mathematics learning outcomes. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of eight scientific articles from 2009 to 2025. The findings indicate that learning motivation plays a vital role in encouraging student engagement, enthusiasm, and confidence, which positively impact academic achievement. While most studies show a significant relationship between motivation and learning outcomes, some findings reveal that other factors also influence students' academic performance.
