Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic religious education in shaping the nation's character. The study uses a qualitative research method with a literature study, which answers existing problems by reviewing relevant literature to provide solutions. The results show that religious education is an irreplaceable fundamental support in character formation, because religion contains noble values of absolute goodness and truth. These noble values, such as honesty and trustworthiness, will give birth to excellent character in everyday behavior. Islamic religious education is a continuation of the role of religion that not only teaches ritual actions such as prayer and reciting prayers, but more than that, it also shapes the overall behavior of humans in order to obtain the pleasure of Allah SWT. Islamic religious education plays a significant role in shaping the character or behavior of students. Basically, the learning of Islamic religious education is directed towards shaping the character of the students. Through religious education, it is hoped that students will know, understand, and practice character values in daily life, so that they will become students with excellent character.

Abstract

Cooperatives play a crucial role in the economic development of the community, especially in rural areas like Namo Bintang Village, Pancur Baru District. Cooperatives can be an effective means to stimulate economic growth and improve the welfare of the community. However, in carrying out their role, cooperatives face various challenges that need to be overcome in order to provide the greatest benefit to the community. This research aims to analyze the role of cooperatives in the economic development of the community in Namo Bintang Village and identify the challenges faced by cooperatives in achieving their goals. The research methodology used in this study is field research, which includes interviews and direct observations of cooperatives in Namo Bintang Village. The research identifies several challenges faced by cooperatives in Namo Bintang Village. First, the limited capital affects the ability of cooperatives to provide loans to their members. Second, the lack of access to a wider market limits the sale of cooperative products. Third, the lack of involvement of the younger generation in cooperative activities threatens the sustainability of cooperatives in the future. In addressing these challenges, several recommendations are given. First, the government needs to provide financial and technical support to cooperatives through mentoring and training programs. Second, cooperatives need to innovate in product marketing and expand their networks. Third, cooperatives must actively involve the younger generation by involving them in the decision-making process and providing opportunities for skills development.

Abstract

The mobile JKN application is the latest innovation from BPJS health in improving services to the public, especially in the health sector, which can be accessed through smartphones. However, many people still do not utilize this application. This study aims to determine the utilization of the mobile JKN application and measure its effectiveness in improving public health services. The method of writing this journal involves searching for articles through Google Scholar and PubMed with the keywords "utilization of mobile JKN services". This application allows membership registration and provides health services such as health counseling, immunization, family planning, and health screening effectively. Thus, it is expected that through this digitalization, at least 98% of the population in Indonesia can become mobile JKN participants, ensuring equal quality of health services. Research results from experts also show that the use of mobile JKN has satisfactory quality for its users, although many people are still unaware of the existence of this application.

Abstract

Education is a conscious effort to educate and teach students, so that students can develop from not knowing to knowing. Learning is said to be successful if the goals of the learning process can be achieved. Therefore, a process is needed that gives students the opportunity to interact actively, discover knowledge, and solve problems in learning. In this study uses a quantitative research method in 2 classes of SMA Negeri 1 Bahorok. The sample selection was done by drawing lots in three classes with the same major to take two classes that will be used as research samples (random classes in parallel classes). This research was conducted in class X at SMA Negeri 1 Bahorok, academic year 2022/2023. The number of samples in this study is 59 students, divided into 2 classes. This study aims to analyze the learning obstacles of students at SMA Negeri 1 Bahorok in class X IPA. The results of this study show that students' obstacles in learning Biology generally stem from the lack of peers to discuss with, so students do not have a target to aim for, which causes students to feel hopeless.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the issues related to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Biology subjects at Al-Hidayah Medan High School and the efforts made by educators to address these issues. The research was conducted on July 12, 2023 using a qualitative approach through interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis was carried out by asking questions and recording important information. The results of the research show that there are obstacles both from internal and external factors. Internally, educators experienced some difficulty in planning learning activities and managing time to deliver the material to be taught. While externally, educators faced challenges in delivering the material due to differences in student characteristics and the lack of available facilities.

Abstract

The Lam Ara Tunong Village is located in a rural area with unique social and cultural characteristics. This analysis will examine the understanding of the people of Lam Ara Tunong Village regarding awareness and concern for the environment. The aim is to investigate the understanding and concern of the people of Lam Ara Tunong Village towards the environment, which is a key factor in maintaining ecosystem sustainability and natural balance. The research uses a survey method by distributing a Google form questionnaire to respondents. The research is expected to provide insights and open up the mindset of the people of Lam Ara Tunong Village. The population sampled is from Lam Ara Tunong Village, with a sample of 60 local residents. The data collection technique uses the Guttman scale, with the instrument of random sampling technique. Furthermore, the questionnaire data is analyzed by looking at the choice scores.

Abstract

The residents of Pangradin Village in the Jasinga District of Bogor Regency have minimal knowledge about the benefits of mangosteen peel. Usually, mangosteen peel is just considered organic waste, even though it actually has many other benefits. The community service in Pangradin Village is carried out through approaches such as counseling, Q&A, and discussions. As a result, the community's understanding of the benefits of mangosteen peel for health can increase.

Abstract

Knowledge is very important for every individual and can even elevate human dignity. In Islam, seeking knowledge is also an act of worship to Allah with specific goals. The importance of having knowledge is to prove the power of Allah SWT. The goal is to strengthen human belief and faith in Allah SWT. With knowledge, humans can read the Qur'an which contains all the issues on earth and study the universe created by Allah. This type of research is field research conducted by being directly present at the object, especially to gather data and information. The nature of this research is qualitative, producing descriptive data in the form of written or oral words from the people or subjects observed. The PKM on the Socialization of the Urgency of Knowledge (Lectures) for the Younger Generation is aimed at teachers at Pondok Salaf Nurul Hidayah in Bogor Regency and has received enthusiastic responses. The students of Pondok Salaf Nurul Hidayah in Bogor Regency also responded well, even hoping for the socialization/seminar/workshop activities related to the Urgency of Knowledge (Lectures) for the Younger Generation to be good, correct, directed, and sustainable.

Abstract

Various cultures related to pregnancy and postpartum still exist in society with various forms of prohibitions and behaviors that must be avoided by mothers during pregnancy and postpartum. Batang Kilat Coastal Area in Medan Labuhan District is a modern coastal area, so research on cultural practices related to pregnancy and postpartum needs to be conducted there. The purpose of this research is to explore beliefs and cultural practices related to pregnancy and postpartum in the Batang Kilat area. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study and data collection method through in-depth interviews. The participants in this research are pregnant women and postpartum women, with a total of seven participants. The results of the research show five main themes, namely views on examination and care during pregnancy, views on birth attendants, views on food taboos and behaviors during pregnancy, views on behavior during postpartum, and family support in postpartum care.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the percentage of the population that actively smokes and to demonstrate the behavior of coastal communities in the Sei Mati Medan Labuhan Village related to health. To achieve this goal, the researcher used a quantitative descriptive method by administering questionnaires to informants or the public to calculate, present, and percentage the number of people regarding smoking behavior. The analysis technique was conducted through interviews with questions that had been prepared in the questionnaire. The research results indicate that out of 30 samples taken from coastal communities, 60% of the respondents are active smokers, with the majority being 20 years old. The supporting factor for public health education strategies in the Sei Mati Medan Labuhan Village is the high number of active smokers in the coastal area and its connection to driving behavior in the community itself.
