Abstract

The community service activity is a mentoring program for student reading communities to provide reading skills in the context of science. This activity was carried out with student reading communities from various universities in Palangka Raya City for three weeks with the IAIN Palangka Raya service team. The purpose of this community service activity is to train reading skills in English and also to increase the insight of students into the science. The method of this activity includes the preparation phase (problem identification and planning), the implementation phase, and the evaluation phase (interviews and feedback). From the results of this mentoring activity, it can be concluded that this activity has a positive impact on community members by making them more productive in reading and increasing their skills and interest in reading.

Abstract

This abstract discusses the comparison between manual transaction input and using Accurate in financial reports. Manual transaction input method involves the process of manually entering data into the accounting system, such as recording purchase transactions, sales, and other expenses. Although this method can produce accurate financial reports, it requires more time and effort from the inputting party. In addition, the risk of error is also higher because data entry is done manually. On the other hand, using Accurate as a transaction input system can improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reports. Accurate is an accounting software designed to assist entrepreneurs or accountants in managing company financial transactions. By using Accurate, transaction input can be done automatically through integration with various data sources, such as cash register systems, purchase systems, and sales systems. This reduces the need for manual data entry, so the required time and effort can be minimized. In addition, Accurate also comes with automatic validation features that can reduce the risk of human error in inputting transactions. This feature will check the entered data and provide warnings or notifications if there are errors or non-compliance with applicable accounting rules. Thus, the accuracy of financial reports can be improved. In this study, a comparison will be made between manual transaction input and using Accurate in financial reports. By comparing these two methods, it is hoped that information can be found to help entrepreneurs or accountants in choosing the most efficient and accurate transaction input method for their company.

Abstract

This research discusses conflict resolution in the lives of Javanese transmigrants in the Paya Tungel Village, Jagong Jeget district, through the mediation of the Jagong Jeget district, which depends on the customary law applied by the indigenous population in Gayo land. In the customary law of the Islamic community in Jagong Jeget, conflict resolution involves the role of Tuha Peut (Village Government). A descriptive qualitative research method was used to obtain in-depth explanations through four informants who are Tuha Peut (Village Government) in Paya Tungel Village. The results show that conflict resolution in Paya Tungel uses mediation, reconciliation, and sanctions/laws to deter perpetrators, as well as guidance by Tuha Peut (Village Government) if the problem cannot be resolved within the family. Ralf Dahrendorf suggests mediation and reconciliation methods in resolving conflicts, as well as through compromise (Consensus) by recognizing differences in interests and seeking common ground acceptable to all parties involved.

Abstract

The text discusses the rules and ethics of journalism, focusing on guiding individuals or groups in managing the behavior of the press, broadcasting, and mass media from the process of news gathering, writing, composition, and dissemination. The research methodology used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to determine the most appropriate method. The research applies three stages: planning, implementation, and analysis of the results, which analyze the results of the Literature Review conducted by the author. Based on the research results and discussions regarding the analysis of Indonesian press law and ethics in being accountable for press coverage that can trigger conflicts in society, it can be concluded that reporting that can trigger conflicts in society is through the right of reply (Article 5 paragraph [2] Press Law) and the right of correction (Article 5 paragraph [3] Press Law).

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the audit committee and the public accounting firm's reputation on the integrity of financial reports, with corporate governance as a moderator. In this study, corporate governance is represented by independent commissioners and institutional ownership. The sample used in this research consists of 60 companies, including 20 in the financial sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020-2023. The data for this research is derived from the companies' annual reports. The data was tested and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and moderated regression analysis (MRA) conducted using SPSS 26 software. The research found that the audit committee and the reputation of the public accounting firm collectively influence the integrity of financial reports. The reputation of the public accounting firm influences the integrity of financial reports, and institutional ownership can moderate the reputation of the public accounting firm's influence on the integrity of financial reports. The audit committee does not partially affect the integrity of financial reports. Independent commissioners and institutional ownership cannot moderate the influence of the audit committee on the integrity of financial reports. Independent commissioners cannot moderate the influence of the public accounting firm's reputation on the integrity of financial reports.

Abstract

Choosing the right English learning method for early childhood is very important. At an early age, children's development is in a concrete phase. Therefore, the learning process applied to early childhood education must be based on something real or tangible in accordance with the learning objectives, which is to convey basic concepts that have meaning through real experiences, in order to enhance the creativity, memory, and curiosity of the child. The Community Service Program (PKM) involves a series of structured stages. First, observation and survey of the location where the PKM activities will be carried out to ensure all necessary preparations. As a plan to fully implement this activity, it will be divided into two parts. First, a final evaluation will be conducted on the training that has taken place. The final step is to prepare a final report summarizing the entire program journey, including objectives, methods, findings, and recommendations for the future.

Abstract

The Deli Malay tribe is one of the Malay ethnic groups originating from North Sumatra. The majority of the Deli Malay people are located in Deli Serdang, around Medan Madya City. The tradition of eating face-to-face rice began from the past lives of the very Islamic Malay people, where marriages were arranged through matchmaking and family introductions through the tradition of eating face-to-face rice. The purpose of this research is to understand the tradition of eating face-to-face in the Deli Malay tradition from the perspective of the Qur'an. Eating face-to-face is eating together or eating from the same dish. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to deeply examine eating face-to-face, or what is commonly called face-to-face rice. The research found communication patterns through interviews with one of the researcher's friends. Eating face-to-face rice is one of the highly anticipated customs of the Malay people by both sides of the bride and groom in the marriage process. Eating face-to-face rice is not only for the customary process, but also has many symbolic meanings taken from this customary process. The research results show that the tradition of eating face-to-face is allowed as long as it does not violate religious rules according to Islamic law.

Abstract

The motif of this research is the lack of creativity of the seventh-grade fiqh teachers at MTs Al-Ikhwan Serapuh ABC in exploring learning models that can be used in the monotonous fiqh subject, causing students to get bored. Therefore, there needs to be a shift in the internal paradigm of teaching and learning strategies and the implementation of teacher-student interactions, implementing the right or wrong strategies in the process of teaching fiqh in the seventh grade at MTs Al-Ikhwan Serapuh ABC. The aim of this research is to answer whether the true or false strategy can improve students' learning outcomes about halal and haram food in the seventh grade at MTs Al-Ikhwan Serapuh ABC. This question is discussed in a classroom action research conducted over two cycles, each stage consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results show that the true or false strategy can improve students' learning outcomes in halal and haram food in the seventh grade at MTs Al-Ikhwan Serapuh ABC. This is reflected in the students' learning completeness per cycle, which is in the pre-cycle with a minimum passing grade (KKM) of 75 students pre-fap only 53.1%, in cycle I 65.3%, and in cycle II 85.6%.

Abstract

Health is one of the basic needs of humans to live decently and productively. Therefore, controlled health services are needed in terms of cost and quality, because every human being, whether rich or poor, living in a developed or developing country, is always faced with life-threatening risks. The implementation of the referral system in Indonesia is regulated in a tiered or tiered form, namely First, Second, and Third level Health Facilities, which are interconnected. Until now, the implementation of the tiered referral system is still being perfected, especially related to the understanding of BPJS participants about the tiered referral system. Many participants who come to PPK I or PPK II do not understand the tiered referral mechanism. The method used in this research is the Literature Review method, which is a systematic, reproducible, and explicit method for identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing the works and thoughts of researchers. The results of this study indicate that many people or patients still do not understand the tiered referral system in the national health insurance (JKN). After reviewing five articles, it is concluded that many people or patients still do not understand the tiered referral system in the national health insurance (JKN). This is due to the lack of understanding of health workers about the vertical and horizontal referral system, as well as the lack of socialization about the referral system to patients, explanations from health workers are only obtained when requesting a referral and through posters at community health centers.

Abstract

As we know that history cannot be separated from a series of events limited by the space and time in which the events occurred. Many people say that history is something static that cannot be repeated based on its context. Along with the development of human knowledge and the potential for great curiosity, it has influenced people's perspectives on history, which used to consider history as static, rigid, and even without any contribution to the advancement of scientific studies. However, this view has been shaken by the struggle of Islamic studies, where history is always dynamic, following the "pulse" of human civilization development. This article uses a heuristic method with critical analysis based on primary books, to dissect the uniqueness of the past that has a unique influence on the present and future. In this context, the effort to link the relevance of Islamic education as a field of life facing challenges is studied from various perspectives, including the historical perspective. At this point, the dynamism of Islamic education can mean developing scientific knowledge.
