EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. Abstract

Encouraging learning environments and strong teacher-student interactions are prerequisites for effective learning. Learning achievement can be enhanced by classroom environments that foster positive interactions between teachers and students, but it can also be impacted by school culture, one aspect of which is the morning culture. The aim of this research is to ascertain how the adoption of a morning-day culture will enhance students' academic performance. This research employs a case study methodology combined with a qualitative approach. The grade XI pupils and the instructor in charge of the morning day culture program are the subjects of this investigation. The class XI homeroom teacher served as the research informant. The methods of gathering data include documentation, interviews, and observation. Triangulating sources and approaches is one of the techniques used for data validation. Techniques for data analysis include gathering, reducing, presenting, and verifying data or drawing conclusions. The study's findings demonstrate that the morning day culture program at SMKN 1 Palangka Raya is implemented in a different way each day. Specifically, the flag ceremony is held on Monday, socialization or habituation is done on Tuesday, literacy is done on Wednesday, the school environment is cleaned on Thursday, and group gymnastics is done on Friday morning. In addition to serving as a routine, the morning day culture program has a big impact on the students at SMKN 1 Palangka Raya. For example, students in good physical and mental health find it easier to focus during class; students who are happy and motivated at school are more engaged in their studies; and literacy and socialization activities help students develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As a result, by enhancing character, enhancing health, and fostering skill development, this morning culture supports student learning achievement

Abstract

This study examines the factors contributing to reading aloud anxiety among eighth-grade students at MTSN 2 Merangin and proposes effective strategies to mitigate these anxieties. Key factors identified include fear of making mistakes, shyness, lack of confidence, fear of ridicule, and a perceived lack of ability in vocabulary, motivation, preparation, and grammar. To address these issues, various strategies were implemented: providing additional practice and constructive feedback, fostering positive thinking, creating a supportive and non-judgmental classroom environment, encouraging peer support through group activities, and incorporating games and interactive exercises. Data was collected through classroom observations, student and teacher interviews, and pre- and post-intervention surveys. Analysis showed significant improvements in students' confidence and participation in reading aloud activities. By understanding and addressing the root causes of anxiety, educators can create a more conducive learning environment that encourages active participation and enhances students' reading skills. This research highlights the importance of targeted interventions and supportive teaching practices in reducing reading aloud anxiety and improving overall student performance.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the morality of elementary school students. This research employs a literature review method. The data collection technique involves gathering previous studies and several journals to address the morality of elementary school students from the perspective of idealism philosophy. The data in this research is obtained from library research, which is used to explore a deeper understanding of the basic concepts of philosophy of education and their relevance in the development of the education system. The data from previous studies that has been collected is then compiled, analyzed, and concluded to derive conclusions about the religious morality of elementary school students from the perspective of idealism philosophy. The conclusion of this research is that morality and religiosity can be linked because both emphasize that intangible aspects, such as moral values or spiritual beliefs, are more important than physical or material aspects.

Abstract

Surgery is generally the treatment method of choice for these fractures because of the difficulty in maintaining cast reduction or functional bracing. One of the operative treatments is open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF).  ORIF is a surgical procedure performed with the aim of restoring bone alignment and providing stability to broken bone fragments after a fracture.

Abstract

The Effect of the Discovery Learning Model Assisted by Diorama Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Students at SD Negeri 20 Pulubala. Thesis. Department of Elementary Teacher Education. Faculty of Education. Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The supervisor is Prof. Dr. Abdul Haris Panai, M.Pd., MCE and the co-supervisor is Dr. Gamar Abdullah, S.Si., M.Pd.The research question in this study is "Does the discovery learning model assisted by diorama media affect the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 20 Pulubala?" The type of research used is quantitative research. This study employed the Pre Experimental Design method with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The independent variable in this study is the Discovery Learning model assisted by diorama media, and the dependent variable is science learning outcomes. The population of this study consists of all fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 20 Pulubala, totaling 14 students. Data collection in this study was carried out using a multiple-choice test method. Data analysis in this study included a normality test, hypothesis testing using the t-test, and N-Gain Score test.The normality test showed normal distribution values based on the research results and discussions. Subsequently, hypothesis testing using SPSS 29 yielded a significant value (one-tailed) of 0.001 <0.05, with the criteria that if the significant value is smaller than 0.05, then HO is rejected and H1 is confirmed, meaning that there is an effect of the discovery learning model assisted by diorama media on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 20 Pulubala. The improvement in student learning outcomes is indicated by an N-Gain Score of 0.63 or 63%, which falls into the moderately effective category.

Rahmatia Suleman, 2024. Improving the Learning Outcomes of Pure Substance and Mixtures Material using Snowball Throwing Model and Smart Card Media for Students in Class V of SDN 3 Talaga Jaya. Undergraduate Thesis. Department of Elementary Teacher Education, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The principal supervisor is Dr. Irvin Novita Arifin, S.Pd., M.Pd., and the co-supervisor is Dr. Gamar Abdullah, S.Si., M.Pd.The problem statement of this research is "Can the implementation of Snowball Throwing Model and Smart Card Media improve the learning outcomes of students in class V of SDN 3 Talaga Jaya?" This Classroom Action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Pure Substance and Mixtures material using the Snowball Throwing Model and Smart Card Media for students in class V of SDN 3 Talaga Jaya.The result gained from 27 students shows that in the early stage observation the learning outcome indicator reached 22.22% (6 students). In cycle I there were 52% (14 students) completed the Minimum Completion Criteria. Concluding it did not thrive enough, cycle II was held with the result of 86% (23 students) who completed the Minimum Completion Criteria. Overall, the percentage escalated to 34%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing Model and Smard Card in learning Pure Substance and Mixtures improved the learning outcomes of students in class V of SDN 3 Talaga Jaya.

Abstract

لم يتمكن الطلاب من كتابة المقالات باستخدام قواعد اللغة العربية الصحيحة وتؤدي هذه الأخطاء النحوية إلى معاني مختلفة وتؤدي إلى مقالات غير واضحة كاستخدام الضمير. يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد الأخطاء في استخدام الضمير في الإنشاء لدى طلاب الصف التاسع في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الواحدة بكوتاتشاني، وإلى معرفة العوامل المؤثرة للأخطاء في استخدام الضمير في الإنشاء لدى طلاب الصف التاسع في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الواحدة بكوتاتشاني. هذا البحث بحث وصفي نوعي، وأساليب جمع البياناتر المستخدمة الملاحظة والتوثيق والمقابلة شبه المنظمة. ومجتمع البحث هو طلاب الصف التاسع في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الواحدة بكوتاتشاني وتم أخذ العينة باستخدام تقنية أخذ عينات كرة الثلج. يستخدم تحليل البيانات نظرية (Miles and Huberman1992: 16)، وهي: تقليل البيانات وعرض البيانات والاستنتاجات أو التحقق. ثم يتم تحليلها مرة أخرى باستخدام تحليل الخطأ الذي يستخدم مفهوم رشدي أحمد طعيمه الذي يتضمن ثلاث خطوات، وهي: تحديد الخطأ ووصف الخطأ وتصنيفه بالإضافة وكذلك تفسير وشرح الأخطاء. ونتائج البحث التي تم الحصول عليها هي: ١) أن الأخطاء في استخدام الضمير في الإنشاء لدى طلاب الصف التاسع في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الواحدة بكوتاتشاني في الجنس والعدد والنوع. ٢) أن العوامل المؤثرة للأخطاء في استخدام الضمير في الإنشاء لدى طلاب الصف التاسع في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الواحدة بكوتاتشاني هي عدم فهم القواعد وتأثير اللغة الأم وطرق التدريس غير فعالة وقلة الممارسة وصعوبة حفظ الضمير وقلة دعم من بيئة تعليمية.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how picture media is used in the process of learning to write descriptive texts and whether or not it may help students in Class VII SMP IT Darussalam Tanon become better writers of descriptive texts. This study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology and gathers data through teacher and student interviews, classroom observations, and examination of students' writing both before and after the images are applied. Data triangulation—that is, comparing the findings of observations, interviews, and document analysis—was done in order to preserve the validity of the data. In order to achieve data accuracy, the triangulation technique employed was source triangulation, using data sources from students, teachers, and student writing. According to the findings of 32 student interviews, 29 students (90.63%) said that utilizing image media greatly aided them in writing descriptive text, whereas 3 students (9.57%) acknowledged that they still struggled with writing descriptive text even with the use of image media. These findings show that, even if some students still struggle, using picture media in descriptive text writing is a highly effective way to help students become better descriptive text writers. It has also been successful in raising kids' interest in writing through the use of picture media. Interviews with teachers indicate that this approach not only boosts writing abilities but also students' enthusiasm in studying. Students' interviews demonstrate that photos help pupils visualize and characterize the environment they observe.

Abstract

Tawhid is a word that is familiar to Muslims. Because in general we want or even claim to be a monotheist. However, it is possible that there are still many people who do not understand the nature and position of monotheism for human life, even those who already feel monotheistic. Starting from the many people's understanding of the nature of monotheism and forgetting about its high position, it is very important to convey a clear explanation of this issue. The learning process is the process of transferring knowledge from teacher to student, and appropriate methods are needed to ensure that knowledge given is fully accepted. At first glance, the importance of learning methods in the teaching and learning process is central for teachers in choosing learning methods that suit their students' personalities and optimizing and minimizing the advantages of the learning methods used by teachers in the classroom. We must realize that each learning method definitely has its own advantages and disadvantages. -each.  This research used descriptive qualitative methods which were carried out at the Mis Al Azhar Lil Mukhtarin Islamic Boarding School. The aim of this research is to find out how to apply rububiyyah material to students, instill the values ​​of monotheism in students, how to use the question and answer method and lectures in learning that takes place in the classroom.  The results of this research were that combining these two methods proved to be the most effective, with questions and answers strengthening understanding through active interaction and lectures providing a strong theoretical basis. By combining these two approaches, teaching tauhid rububiyyah can become more holistic, covering various aspects of learning and meeting the needs of different students.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the digital literacy skills of students in using Instagram social media in learning Indonesian. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with a survey technique. The population in this study was the results of filling out a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Forms to respondents. The results showed that 93.3% of students knew what digital literacy was while 6.6 percent of respondents did not know the definition of digital literacy. Students chose listening skills media on Instagram, which was shown the most, 53.3% on the Reels feature. Students chose the most Live speaking skills media on Instagram, 66.7%. Students chose reading skills media on Instagram, 36.7% on the Post feature and as many as 33.3% chose the Instagram Instastory and Reels features, choosing writing skills. The results showed that most respondents were skilled at using Instagram as a medium for learning Indonesian.
