Abstract

This research departs from the curiosity to measure and find out the effectiveness of learning strategies in teaching al-Qur'an learning materials in improving the ability to read the Qur'an by conducting experimental research with strategies that have never been carried out before in the research place, namely the card sort learning strategy. to children at the Sidomulyo TPA, Palangka Raya. The research used a quantitative method research approach, with the type of research design being a one-group pretest-posttest design by conducting pretest and posttest. The population used is all students at TPA Sidomulyo with the type of sample being total sampling. Data collection techniques used pretest and posttest and data analysis techniques were tested with normality test, paired sample test. The results showed that (1) the use of card sort learning strategies can make the classroom atmosphere more active than passive, not monotonous and make children remember the learning materials that have been explained. (2) The significance value of 0.200 > 0.05 has been obtained. So it can be concluded that the residual value is normally distributed. Furthermore, the data is tested and the results obtained from the paired sample test are 0.00 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effectiveness of using the card sort learning strategy in improving the ability to read the Qur'an.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an merupakan firman Allah yang berfungsi sebagai petunjuk dan pedoman hidup bagi umat Islam. Mempelajari Al-Qur'an adalah salah satu ibadah yang sangat mulia kepada Allah SWT. Namun, di era modern seperti sekarang masih banyak anak-anak, remaja, bahkan orang dewasa lebih sering bermain gawai daripada belajar Al-Qur'an, akibatnya kebiasaan belajar Al-Qur'an mulai ditinggalkan. Padahal mempelajari Al-Qur'an memiliki manfaat dan keistimewaan yang luar biasa dibandingkan dengan yang lain. Maka dari itu, kegiatan pengabdian pendampingan dalam belajar Al-Qur'an ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian kepada masyarakat, khususnya anak-anak yang merupakan generasi penerus bangsa. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilaksanakan di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an Sukamulya kota Palangka Raya. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini: a) sebagai upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kemampuan anak-anak dalam membaca, menulis, dan menghafal Al-Qur'an dengan baik dan benar, b) memberikan pembiasaan sejak dini kepada anak-anak untuk mengenal dan belajar Al-Qur'an di tengah maraknya perkembangan teknologi yang semakin canggih, dan c) memberikan bantuan tenaga pendampingan kepada anak-anak dalam pemberantasan baca tulis Alquran. Pendampingan dilaksanakan secara tatap muka dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya-jawab, praktik, sosiodrama (bermain peran), dan bercerita (story telling). Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap pendahuluan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil akhir dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan dalam belajar Al-Qur'an memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman kepada anak-anak mengenai Al-Qur'an dan manfaatnya bagi kehidupan. Hal ini tampak dari adanya perubahan perilaku anak ke arah yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Pendampingan, Pembelajaran Al-Qur'an, TPA Sukamulya

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan metode berkisah melalui media visual dan pengaruhnya terhadap penguasaan nilai-nilai religius pada anak di TPA Sidomulyo Palangka Raya. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan jenis one group pre-test post-test design. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam penerapan metode berkisah melalui media visual terdapat sejumlah tahapan-tahapan, seperti membuat media pendukung, menyiapkan materi kisah, serta perlakuan (penerapan metode berkisah melalui media visual). Adapun pengaruhnya, berdasarkan rata-rata N-Gain Ternormalisasi maka dihasilkan nilai 0,34 sehingga termasuk pada kategori sedang, sementara hasil uji Paired Simple Test mendapatkan nilai 0,000. Nilai 0,000>0,05 maka terdapat pengaruh, sehingga diketahui bahwa metode berkisah melalui media visual terhadap penguasaan nilai-nilai religius di TPA Sidomulyo Palangka Raya adalah berpengaruh pada tingkat/kategori sedang.

Abstract

The Maulid Nabi Muhammad Saw activity at SMKN 3 Palangka Raya is held as a form of Islamic spiritual assistance, as well as a place to develop students' talents in a religious context. This activity involves various activities such as lectures, Islamic art, and creative presentations related to the Prophet's life story, with the aim of strengthening students' love for the Prophet Muhammad and supporting the development of speaking, art, and cooperation skills. This article discusses the implementation of this mentoring activity, the impact felt by students, and the successful implementation of student talents. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, this activity showed an improvement in the aspects of spirituality, speaking skills, and talent development. The mentoring results show that students are not only more involved in religious activities, but also more confident in expressing their religious understanding. This activity creates a positive atmosphere that supports students to learn, create, and contribute to spiritual and social development.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of a learning style-based learning approach and differentiated learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects using the service learning method. This approach is designed as a form of service to increase students' understanding of the subject matter in depth and at the same time as being applicable in everyday life. The main material focus includes the concept of Faith, the principle of a useful life which stresses the importance of avoiding negative behavior such as extravagance, riya', sum'ah, takabur, and hasad, as well as deepening understanding of the role of Insurance, Banks, and Sharia Cooperatives in supporting the economy of the people based on Islamic values. Through this service, students not only understand the material theoretically, but are also invited to integrate spiritual, moral and social values ​​into real practice. The results of the service are proven by the increasing depth of students' understanding of the material, as seen from their ability to explain, apply and instill Islamic values ​​in everyday life. Thus, this method is an innovative solution to optimize learning while instilling useful values ​​in students' daily lives.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities of Rohani Islam (Rohis) have an important role in character building and developing students' religious skills. This article aims to describe the process of mentoring student learning through Rohis extracurricular activities, especially in the field of religious lectures at SMKN 3 Palangka Raya. The method used in this activity is structured mentoring with a participatory approach. The results of this mentoring showed an increase in students' confidence in delivering religious lectures as well as their understanding of Islamic materials. This activity also has a positive impact in strengthening morals and religious values among students.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah as a non-formal Islamic educational institution has an important role in the progress of the Islamic ummah in Indonesia. However, currently, many Islamic madrasahs are no longer active for various reasons. This is due to several things, including curriculum, finances, infrastructure, and lack of cooperation between Islamic schools and the community. To ensure that the Islamic madrasa can continue to be active and exist, all elements in the madrasa need to play a good role, including the head of the madrasa. The purpose of this research is to examine the role of the head of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awwaliyah Thoriqossadah, Tamban Catur District so that the madrasah he leads can continue to exist today. This research is qualitative research located in MDTA Thoriqossadah, Tamban Catur District. The subject of this research is the head of the madrasah. The research results show that the madrasa head has carried out his role well as a decision-maker, information provider, supervisor, and as relationship builder. The role of the madrasah head as a decision maker can be seen in making decisions about using the yellow book-based curriculum, decision making in financial management, it can be seen that financial management is completely carried out by the madrasah starting from planning, extracting sources of funds to reporting, decision making in managing students can be seen from the division of groups classes according to age and ability in reading and writing the Al-Quran. The role of the madrasa head as a relationship builder can be seen from how the madrasa head has good relations with the parents of the students and the government through the head of the Kapuas district's educational boarding school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by teachers at MTsN 1 Katingan to increase students' learning interest in the Akidah Akhlak subject. It also identifies the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of these strategies. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects include Akidah Akhlak teachers, the school principal, and Class VII A students. Data validation was conducted through source triangulation, while data analysis involved data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results indicate that teachers employ various strategies to enhance learning interest, such as using creative and interactive methods, integrating relevant learning media, and utilizing school support through adequate facilities. Supporting factors include school policies, innovative teaching approaches, and parental involvement. Meanwhile, the obstacles found are the difficulty of understanding and applying the material, low student engagement, and limited learning facilities. These findings highlight the importance of a collaborative approach involving teachers, schools, and parents to foster students' interest in religious education.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in the world of education, especially in strengthening the character of students. This study aims to identify the role of information and communication technology (ICT) in strengthening character education through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to five selected relevant journal articles published in the last five years. The results of the analysis show that ICT can be strategically utilized in instilling character values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, empathy, and integrity. The implementation of ICT through learning platforms, digital applications, and technology-based literacy movements has proven to be able to create learning experiences that are morally charged as well as fun. However, the use of ICT also presents challenges such as cyberbullying and misuse of technology that need to be anticipated with digital literacy and ethical mentoring. This research recommends the wise and contextual integration of ICT in character learning to form a generation with strong character and adaptive to the times.
