EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah buku ajar dan PowerPoint sederhana yang banyak berupa tulisan sehingga proses pembelajaran membosankan dan tidak tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran IPAS. Maka dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis PowerPoint pada pembelajaran IPAS. Peneliian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis hasil penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi serta respon guru dan perserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis PowerPoint dan berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data yang dilakukan hasil validasi ahli materi dengan jumlah skor 46 dan persentase 88% yang dinilai berdasarkan aspek relevansi materi, penyajian materi, kebahasaan, serta kemutakhiran materi dan kriteria sangat layak oleh ahli materi dan memperoleh jumlah skor sebanyak 72 dengan persentase 100% dengan kriteria sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli media berdasarkan aspek kemudahan penggunaan dan navigasi, tampilan visual, integrasi media pembelajaran, dan manfaat media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan termasuk kedalam kategori sangat praktis berdasarkan analisis angket respon guru dan respon siswa yang dinilai berdasarkan 10 indikator dan aspek penilaian, memperoleh persentase sebesar 98% dengan skor sebanyak 39 dari respon guru dan persentase sebesar 97% dengan skor sebanyak 58 berdasarkan respon siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Self-concept is an individual's views and feelings about himself that determine the determinants in communicatingwith others. Children who have a negative self-concept will view themselves and their environment in a low lightand aggressiveness among students will have the most negative impact. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between bullying behavior and self- concept in children at SDIT Al-Uswah Tuban. The design of this study used analytic correlation with a cross-sectional approach which was analyzed using random sampling technique on 52 respondents. The data was taken using a questionnaire on bullying behavior and self-concept, thenanalyzed using the Spearman rank test. The results showed that 71.2% had a high self-concept, 69.2% had mild bullying behavior. Statistical test results obtained p = 0.001 (p <0.05) and r = 0,436, which means that there is a significant relationship between bullying behavior and self-concept in children with sufficient relationship strength.Students who have a high self- concept have low bullying behavior. Therefore, parents are expected to monitor andgive advice to their children to be kind to others. Therefore, the school teaches children many things so that this can become a child's weapon in the future through religious knowledge, because to become a better person.

Abstract

This problem is: Social phenomena, various social phenomena and various norms, factors of social phenomena, the impact of social phenomena in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq?. The aim of this research is: To describe social phenomena, various social phenomena, factors of social phenomena, the impact of social phenomena in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. The method in this research is a descriptive analysis method. The results of the research state as follows: 1) Social phenomena in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. Based on data analysis, social phenomena were found in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. From the results of reading the novel, 90 data were collected containing social phenomena. Data analysis states that there are 9 social phenomena described by the author. 2) Various social phenomena in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. Based on data analysis, various kinds of social phenomena were found in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. There were 6 types found, namely: 1) Habitual norms, 2) Moral norms, 3) Legal norms, 4) Narcotics abuse, 5) Corruption, 6) Religious norms. 3) Factors of social phenomena in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. Based on data analysis, various kinds of social phenomena were found in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. There were 2 types of factors found, namely: 1) Structural factors, 2) Cultural factors. 4) The impact of social phenomena in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. Based on data analysis, various kinds of social phenomena were found in the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq. There were 2 types of impacts found on social phenomena, namely: 1) Positive impacts, 2) Negative impacts. The suggestions are as follows: 1) For readers, the author hopes that this research will increase readers' appreciation of literary works. 2) For literary researchers, this research can be the beginning of inspiration for researchers themselves to be able to make better research, especially in researching literary works.  3) For future researchers, future researchers should be able to conduct research more perfectly, both related to this research, and related to other problems in research with the object of the novel Ancika by Pidi Baiq.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between students' Arabic speaking proficiency and their involvement in muhadatsah activities at SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Ulum Medan. The sample consists of 50 students from the eighth grade. The research design is correlational with a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire as the instrument. Descriptive analysis results show that the average Arabic speaking proficiency score is 27.86, and the average participation in muhadatsah activities is 26.88. Pearson correlation test reveals a strong positive relationship between Arabic speaking proficiency and involvement in muhadatsah, with a value of 0.772. The instrument proved to be reliable and valid. The study concludes that muhadatsah activities are effective in improving students' Arabic speaking skills. Therefore, the muhadatsah method needs to be adopted and further developed in Arabic language teaching at SMP Islam Terpadu Al-Ulum Medan.

Abstract

A pile foundation is needed to support the building, if the hard soil layer is very deep. The pile foundation functions to move or transfer the load above it (superstructure) to deeper soil layers. For this purpose, it is necessary to evaluate the capacity of a single pile and the capacity of a group of piles that are capable of carrying the load above them. Evaluation of pile capacity requires calendaring data in the form of field driving data which is carried out when the pile reaches hard ground with penetration and rebound values taken for 10 strokes. Based on calendaring data, single pole capacity analysis was carried out using several methods. The results of the bearing capacity analysis from one method are compared with other methods and their relationship with pile penetration. The capacity value of the pile group is calculated based on the pile efficiency. Most of the pile capacities show almost the same single pile capacity values, such as the Hiley method (666.16 kN), Navy-Mckay (752.14 kN), Janbu (440.91 kN), except that the Sanders method gives results that are much different from The value of other methods is 1138.28 kN, this could be because this method only considers the weight of the pile. The relationship between single pile capacity and pile penetration shows that the smaller the pile penetration value, the greater the pile capacity. This is obtained in all methods used, although with different calculation methods and method.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) find out the comparisonof students' writing skills before and after using theDuolingo application and (2) find out theadvantages and disadvantages of students whenusing the Duolingo application. This research usesmixed methods. Data collection techniques includetests, interviews, and documentation methods. The test was carried out in two stages, namely pre-testand post-test. Interview informants were selectedusing purposive sampling techniques. Data were processed using descriptive statistics and Miles Huberman analysis. The research was conductedon 10 English Literature students at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. The research results showthat based on the results, Duolingo's role canimprove students' writing skills. This can be seenbased on the results of the post-test carried out bystudents. In the post-test assessment, allparticipants obtained higher scores that exceededthe mean. The highest score on the post-test was 95 and the lowest score was 80. There were nostudents below the completeness score and 10 students above the completeness score. Then theaverage post-test score was 89.5. Meanwhile, otherresearch results show that the advantages anddisadvantages of using the Duolingo applicationcan be seen in the interview results. In terms ofadvantages, students believe that Duolingo canimprove their writing skills because there are lotsof features such as flashcards, translations, quizzes, listening sections, exercises, and others. Meanwhile, the disadvantage of using theDuolingo application is that this application takesup a lot of memory space on the cellphone whenthe user uses it all the time, especially when itreaches a high level or unit.

Abstract

The cosmetic brand Somethinc has achieved various milestones since 2019. However, some of its products still experience low sales. To remain competitive, Somethinc needs to develop an effective marketing strategy, with electronic word of mouth on TikTok potentially serving as a solution. This study aims to assess the impact of electronic word of mouth through TikTok on the purchase intention of Somethinc products among female students in Jakarta. This research employs a quantitative approach, combining survey and observational methods, with data collected through a questionnaire. The results reveal a t-test significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a t-value of 12.121, which exceeds the critical value of 1.984, confirming the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. These findings indicate a significant effect of electronic word of mouth through TikTok on the purchase intention of Somethinc products. The coefficient of determination (R-squared) is 0.600, meaning that electronic word of mouth through TikTok accounts for 60% of the variance in purchase intention for Somethinc products, while the remaining 40% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of TPACK Framework in English Language Teaching in SMPN 4 Tanjungpandan, Belitung, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. The research is a qualitative study. The participants of this research consisted of two English teachers from SMPN 4 Tanjungpandan and the students of nineth grade. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a framework for understanding the varied forms of knowledge necessitated by EFL teachers to integrate ICT in their teaching. The results of this study indicate that implementing TPACK framework in Englis classroom gives positive impact to the learning achievements both the teachers and the students. By integrating technology learning applications such as World Wall, You Tube apps, the learning process becomes interesting and enjoyable. The participation of the students increases significantly. In the future, TPACK Framework takes part in increasing the quality English Language Teaching in Indonesia.

Abstract

The use of deep images in foreign language textbooks is one of the strategies to make it easier to understand vocabulary, grammar, and cultural context visually and intuitively. Bayna Yadaik is one of the Arabic as a foreign language textbook that uses pictures in every part of its reading proficiency. This study aims to explain the role of images in supporting the learning of life topics in the reading proficiency of the book Bayna Yadaik Volume 2. This study uses the analysis of visual texts by Kress & Leeuwen (2006) which focuses on the interactional meaning in visual texts to uncover the interactive meaning of the images. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The main data source consists of 26 visual images from Chapters 1-4 of the book Bayna Yadaik Volume 2 in the reading proficiency section. Images in dialogue (12 images) and paragraph text (14 images) support the conversation and situation being discussed and help explain more complex contexts. The results of the analysis showed that images played a role in helping students understand the text and context in the book. Images help understand the text through aspects of social distance, power, contact, and involvement.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze students' numerical thinking processes in solving FPB and KPK story problems based on local wisdom, as well as to identify effective learning strategies to improve students' numerical abilities. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through numerical thinking process tests, interviews with students and teachers, and observation of learning implementation. The research subjects consisted of 29 class IV students at SDN Wonokromo III Surabaya who were grouped based on high, medium and low abilities. Data was analyzed through reduction, presentation and verification. The research results show that students with high ability (MY) can solve questions well, showing strong and consistent numerical abilities. Students with moderate abilities (RP) are able to solve several questions, but still need improvement in understanding the KPK concept. Low ability (MM) students experienced difficulty in all questions, indicating the need for deeper and more focused learning strategies. The integration of local context in mathematics learning has proven effective in increasing student engagement and understanding.
