EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

Stunting is a major concern in Indonesia, impacting children's growth, development, and longterm productivity. This study applies a meta-analysis methodology, reviewing 15 relevant studies published from 2019 to 2024, sourced from platforms like Google Scholar, DOAJ, and JSTOR. The research seeks to examine the various factors that contribute to stunting, including exclusive breastfeeding, the appropriate timing for introducing complementary foods (MP-ASI), caloric intake, dietary variety, and the quality and frequency of meals. The findings indicate that exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, the timely initiation of MP-ASI (at 6–8 months), sufficient caloric intake, and dietary diversity—especially iron-rich foods—are highly effective in reducing stunting. Additionally, a dietary pattern involving more than three meals a day and adequate intake of animal protein is strongly linked to better nutritional status. However, challenges such as limited access to nutritious food and insufficient nutrition education remain significant, particularly for families with lower income. In conclusion, addressing stunting demands a comprehensive approach that includes nutrition education, improved eating habits, and greater access to healthy food, supported by collaboration among families, healthcare professionals, and communities to promote the optimal growth and development of children in Indonesia.

Abstract

The transformation of the school supervisor’s role has become a strategic necessity in enhancing the quality of education in an increasingly dynamic global era. Supervisors now serve not only as administrators but also as facilitators, motivators, and catalysts for change to promote innovative learning and sustainable professional development. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with document analysis to examine the evolution of the supervisor's role, challenges encountered, implementation strategies, and their impact on education quality. Findings reveal that the shift from conventional approaches to transformative supervision significantly improves learning quality, strengthens the culture of school excellence, and accelerates the achievement of national education standards (SNP). Challenges such as digital divides, resource limitations, and resistance to change can be addressed through need-based supervision, blended supervision, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. Technology-based approaches have also proven effective in supporting development, particularly in remote areas. The study concludes that transforming school supervisors is a critical element in achieving more inclusive, adaptive, and globally competitive education. Comprehensive policy support, capacity building through technology-based training, and cross-sector collaboration are essential to ensure the sustainability of this transformation.

Abstract

The rapid development of the era demands Islamic religious education to continuously adapt. Increasing students' literacy is a major challenge in developing the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in the digital era. The Merdeka Curriculum provides schools with more flexibility in designing learning that is suitable for students' characteristics. This study aims to examine the role of teachers in facing the challenges of developing the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in the 21st century, especially at MA Al-Amin Bogor, SMP IT Roudlotul Jannah Ciawi, and SDIT Darul Ma'arif. The method used in this research is a qualitative field research method, which is a field study by examining a case. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies of research respondents. Data analysis was carried out in stages, namely data collection, data reduction, conclusion, and verification. The results of the study show that the role of teachers is very important in facing the challenges of developing the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in the 21st century, at MA Al-Amin Bogor, SMP IT Roudlotul Jannah Ciawi, and SDIT Darul Ma'arif. Through teaching experience, the author analyzes the required teacher competencies, efforts to adapt to changing times, and learning innovations that can be carried out. A case study of problem-based learning in the Islamic History and Culture (SKI) subject with the utilization of blogs as a learning medium, as well as the development of digital-based teaching materials using Canva and CapCut, will be the focus of the discussion. The challenges faced, innovations made, and their impact on student learning will be discussed in depth.

Abstract

In the context of farming communities which tend to have limited resources, the application of Islamic parenting principles is expected to have a positive impact on the formation of children's religious character. The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and questionnaires. Research subjects included parents and children from farming families in Bronjong Village. The informants consisted of three farming families chosen randomly. This research aims to find out how parents make efforts to build religious character in the children of farming families in Bronjong Village, Lamongan. The research results show that: firstly, the implementation of Islamic parenting in Bronjong Village involves several key strategies, including religious education at home, application of Islamic moral values in daily activities, and participation in community religious activities. Both children's religious character is formed through consistency in the application of Islamic values and a supportive social environment. Thirdly, Islamic parenting can be an effective strategy in shaping children's religious character, even in the context of limited resources.

Abstract

presence of a son in a Chinese family is seen as more valuable because there is a certain value in a son. This literature research aims to analyze and explain the meaning of boys in terms of basic human values. This research is included in cultural psychology research. The results of this literature study show that there are 8 values ​​for boys, including: traditional values, security, conformity, benevolence, prosperity, appreciation, strength, and stimulation. Referring to the results of literature research, a psychological approach can be applied in developing knowledge, understanding and insight about the meaning of boys in various cultures.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development of a digital comic medium that features the Batak Toba folktale titled “Raja Si Opat Ama” in German. The development process utilizes the Next GToon application to facilitate the creation of engaging and interactive digital comics. The primary aim of this research is to preserve the cultural heritage of Batak Toba while introducing it to the international community, particularly German speakers. During its development, the folktale was translated into German and visualized in the form of a digital comic. The illustrations, storyline, and dialogues were designed by considering local cultural aspects to maintain authenticity while ensuring that they are easily understood by foreign readers. With this medium, it is expected that readers can learn about Batak Toba culture in an enjoyable and modern way. The final product is a digital comic that serves not only as entertainment but also as a tool for cultural and language learning.

Abstract

The implementation of technology-based education in schools in Indonesia offers various opportunities to improve the quality of learning and access to education. However, this process also presents complex challenges, especially related to infrastructure gaps, digital literacy, and curriculum adaptation. This study aims to identify challenges and opportunities in the implementation of technology-based education in SMP Islam Andalusia Kebasen using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, field observations, and document analysis from various sources, including teachers, students, and policy makers. The results of the study indicate that the main obstacles include limited access to technological devices, low digital competence among educators and students, and financial constraints. On the other hand, significant opportunities were found in the form of increasing learning flexibility, potential for global collaboration, and the development of more innovative teaching methods. This study concludes that to realize a successful implementation, collaborative efforts are needed between the government, schools, and the community in overcoming challenges and utilizing existing opportunities. Strategic efforts include improving technological media, digital literacy training programs, and developing policies that support the integration of technology in education. This study provides relevant insights to support the transformation of inclusive and sustainable technology-based education in Indonesia

Abstract

Gen Z is a generation that has been exposed to technology and the internet from an early age. In addition to having a positive impact, advances in technology and information also contribute to a major challenge for Generation Z, namely the increase in the use of smartphones that have no certain limits. This dependence gave birth to phone snubbing or phubbing behavior. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Phubbing. Respondents in this study were 100 Gen Z. This study uses a correlational quantitative method with simple linear regression analysis. The result of the study is that there is a significant relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Phubbing. The results of the analysis show a negative relationship, meaning that if Emotional Intelligence in individuals increases, the lower the Phubbing behavior. Emotional Intelligence as an independent variable contributes 49.7% influence on Phubbing behavior. Thus, Gen Z with good Emotional Intelligence has self-control, empathy and is able to control the use of smartphones in social interactions.

Abstract

The transformation of learning resources at this time is very important for an effective and efficient teaching and learning process. Learning resources as a foundation and can also be said to be the main factor in the success of the learning process. The transformation of learning resources in accordance with the current digital era can facilitate the achievement of educational goals and also improve students' digital literacy. The purpose of this study is to determine the digital literacy and creativity of Information Technology Education students through the creation of power point presentation materials. The benefits of this study are so that students have a contribution to educational digital literacy, especially the creation of Power Point as presentation materials in the classroom. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative methods are research methods based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine the conditions of natural objects where researchers act as key instruments. The data collection techniques in this study are questionnaires and documentation. The questionnaire was made based on the 4P's Model by Kaufman & Sternberg, namely person, process, product, and press. This study uses data analysis techniques consisting of 3 flows of activities that occur simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that through the transformation of learning resources can improve digital literacy and can also improve student creativity through technology that is developing very rapidly today, can be seen by producing a power point presentation media product so that it can become digital literacy while increasing student creativity and having a positive impact on the learning process.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business environment, companies are required to continuously enhance employee productivity and performance to achieve their set targets. Employee performance reflects their level of satisfaction and responsibility toward their work, which directly impacts efficiency and outcomes. One strategic approach to improving performance is through career development programs designed to strengthen individuals' skills, attitudes, and character. Additionally, providing incentives in the form of rewards plays a crucial role in motivating employees to work more effectively. PT. Dwidaya Mitra Persada, a company engaged in heavy equipment rental and the provision of permanent employees (PKWTT), recognizes that effective human resource (HR) management is key to achieving optimal performance. Factors such as job performance, education level, and work tenure are fundamental components in the company’s career development initiatives. However, challenges such as low attendance rates and delays in task completion remain issues that need to be addressed. Therefore, prioritizing career development and implementing reward strategies are essential steps toward enhancing employee professionalism and ensuring the company's success.
