EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the leadership of Madrasah Heads in Improving the Professional Competence of Teachers at MTs Nurul Huda Pematang Cengal. Data collection for this research was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Leadership is interpersonal influence, in certain situations and directly through the communication process to achieve one or more specific goals. The head of a madrasah is a teacher who is appointed to occupy a structural position in the madrasah, he is assigned to manage the madrasah. Competency is a collection of knowledge, behavior and skills that teachers must have to achieve learning and educational goals. Professional competence is the ability to master learning material broadly and in depth which enables teachers to guide students to meet the competency standards set out in the National Education Standards. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the leadership of the madrasa head in improving the professional competence of teachers at MTs Nurul Huda Pematang Cengal is carried out through several things, including the madrasa head having to provide training or workshops to the teachers, the madrasa head also providing motivation and support to the teachers, head Madrasas also supervise all teachers to continuously improve their quality. Meanwhile, teachers' professional competence is considered good and sufficient, such as having been certified, having attended training, workshops and MGMP.

Abstract

Telecommunications users in Indonesia continue to grow rapidly from year to year. Along with the public's increasing need for communication, whether via SMS, telephone or data services, there is competition among telecommunications providers to attract or retain customers. Customer Opinion shows the level of service quality provided by the provider. Various opinions expressed by customers about telecommunications providers can be known through the social media Twitter. Twitter as a type of microblogging that produces raw data that can overwhelm its users, one solution to this problem is to classify raw data. The Naïve Bayes method can handle text or documents. The documents used in this research are comments from Twitter users. The Naïve Bayes method was chosen because of its ability to handle large text data with sufficient accuracy and an efficient computational process (Aggarwal & Zhai, 2012). It is hoped that the results of this analysis will provide insight for telecommunications providers in improving the quality of their services in accordance with user needs and expectations (Smith et al., 2023). This research uses techniques to categorize customer sentiment opinions towards telecommunications providers in terms of time and location in Indonesia. Sentiment analysis only includes positive, negative and neutral classes. The expected benefit in this research is that telecommunications providers can evaluate performance and services based on time and location to achieve customer satisfaction from various complaints faced, as well as build more effective communication strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop augmented reality-based learning media using Asemblar Edu for science subjects in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sahid, focusing on understanding the concept of the digestive system. The research employs the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis phase, student needs and issues in learning were identified through interviews and surveys conducted at MI Sahid, involving 25 fifth-grade students and 2 teachers, revealing the necessity for a more interactive learning approach. The learning media was designed with storyboards and engaging content, then developed and tested in the classroom. Pretest results showed an average score of 49%, which increased to 84.67% in the posttest, indicating a significant improvement in understanding. Student responses to the media averaged 89.55%, categorized as very good. Feedback from both students and teachers indicated that the media effectively enhanced engagement and motivation in learning. This study concludes that the use of augmented reality media is effective in improving students' understanding of science concepts at MI Sahid. It is hoped that the findings can serve as a reference for educators in integrating technology into learning and encourage the development of similar media for other subjects in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the methods, strategies, techniques, media and evaluation of Arabic language structure learning. The study uses a literature study with a qualitative method. The data collection method used is the documentation method from various literature related to the research. The data is analyzed qualitatively through descriptive analysis, which is in the form of descriptive information relevant to teaching Arabic language structure. The results of this study indicate that the Arabic grammar teaching method consists of the deductive method, the inductive method, the problem method, the integrated text method and the activity method. Learning strategies are applied based on students' education level, both elementary, middle and advanced levels. The learning media used can be print media or electronic media. The evaluation of grammar learning takes various forms adjusted to the teaching objectives. This study concludes that the methods, strategies, techniques, media and evaluation of Arabic grammar teaching are very diverse, both in type and in application, all of which are adjusted to the grammar material taught and students at each level of education.

Abstract

The Rejang tribe is one of the tribes that has long inhabited areas in the Bengkulu Province and has spread across several regencies in the province. There are differences between the Rejang tribe in Lebong Regency and the Rejang tribe in Rejang Lebong Regency due to adaptation and cultural blending. This study identifies the differences in form characteristics in Rejang vernacular architecture in Lebong and Rejang Lebong Regencies, including roof shape, wall board arrangement, window types, door types, building materials, building colors, room dimensions, building orientation, and building foundations. Three samples of vernacular buildings from each region will be analyzed using the Descriptive Qualitative method based on non-numeric data. The results show that there are 5 differences and only 4 similarities in the physical characteristics of vernacular architecture in Lebong and Rejang Lebong Regencies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of educational management information systems in administrative management at SDN Kemakmuran 1 and MTs Ma'arif NU 4 Songgom Brebes. The author uses field research where researchers go directly to the field to obtain research data. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the application of educational management information systems in administrative management at SDN Kemakmuran 1 and MTs Ma'arif NU 4 Songgom Brebes. Data collection methods used in this study are interviews, observations and documentation. Furthermore, the author analyzes the data using the Miles and Huberman model by reducing data, presenting data and verifying data. Then the data is tested for validity with data triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the application of educational management information systems in administrative management at SDN Kemakmuran 1 and MTs Ma'arif NU 4 Songgom still has several obstacles in its implementation but can be categorized as quite good. This is evidenced by the existence of several applications to help manage the administration of the two schools.

Abstract

As an inseparable part of Islamic civilization, the nature of science reflects a series of philosophical concepts, such as dichotomy of science, Islamization of science, integration of science, and interconnection of science. The dichotomy of science raises problems related to the sharp gap between religious science and worldly science, requiring a careful approach to overcome this disparity. Meanwhile, the Islamization of science challenges to align Islamic values with modern science, while the integration of science emphasizes the formation of a holistic framework that covers the entire spectrum of science. This article uses a literature study method, by the author tracing the literature in libraries, books, scriptures, journals, newspapers, magazines, articles, and others, most of which are found in the last five years. The results of this writing find that overall, the implications of this problem show that the development of Islamic education requires a profound transformation in the educational paradigm, improving the quality of human resources, and forming an inclusive and holistic educational vision. Only by overcoming these problems, Islamic education can play a more effective role in forming individuals who are not only superior in science, but also have a strong moral and spiritual foundation in accordance with Islamic principles.

Abstract

This research was conducted because there is a problem of communication adaptability in new students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. Communication adaptation is a form of individual adjustment in interacting with other individuals. One of the factors that influence communication adaptability is self-concept which is defined as an individual's perception of himself. The sample of this research is new students of Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo in 2023 totaling 339 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-concept and communication adaptability in new students with a correlation coefficient of 0.420 and a significance value (p) of 0.001.

Abstract

This research aims to identify cultural preservation strategies through the standardization of Kelintang Jolo music notation in Muaro Jambi. The process skills used are ethnophysics-based qualitative research. This research uses a method that combines a qualitative approach with ethnographic and physics studies. The data collection techniques used were site survey, research instrument development, observation and documentation, interviews, data analysis and conclusion drawing, and evaluation. The results of this study indicate that Kelintang Jolo notation has an important role in preserving the traditional culture of Muaro Jambi which consists of (1) History of Kelintang Jolo. (2) The process of making Kelintang Jolo. (3) The concept of Ethnophysics in Kelintang Jolo. (4) Kelintang Jolo instrument. (5) Standardization of Music Notation. The implication of the research is expected support from various parties to maintain the sustainability of Kelintang Jolo music notation as a valuable cultural heritage. It is hoped that the results of this study can contribute to cultural preservation efforts through the standardization of traditional music notation in Indonesia.
