Propose the research is determine the relationship of learning motivation and student learning outcomes in biology learning media courses at STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of learning motivation and student learning outcomes in biology learning media courses at STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. This research is a descriptive study. The sample are students at biology learning media course. Sample method using total sampling techniques and the research instrument was a student questionnaire. The results of this study, namely r count = 0.07 and r table = 0.266. This shows that the value of rcount < ttable which means there is no significant relationship. Thus, this research states that there is a very low and insignificant relationship between motivation and student learning outcomes in biology learning media courses at STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat academic year 2018/2019.

This research is motivated by student pay less attention when the teacher delivers the material, lack of reading learning resources, and lack of activities working together in groups, such as give opinion in groups and do assignment in groups. This shows that the competence of studen’s attitude is still low. In addition, teachers have not used the right models and media. The research population was all students of class X SMA N 1 Sitiung. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The research design used Randomized d Group Posstest Only Design. The research instrument was an observation sheet of student’s attitudes with indicators of responsibility and cooperaton in groups. Data analysis used t test. Based on the value of learning outcomes in the domain of student’s attitude, it was found that th = 2.39 while tt = 1.67 mean that th > tt and hypotesis was accepted. It can be concluded that Problem Based Learning model with video can improve learning outcomes in the domain of student’s attitude class X SMA N 1 Sitiung.

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan pembelajaran abad 21 yang harus dimiliki peserta didik, kemampuan ini diperlukan untuk menemukan ide – ide baru yang dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah dalam dunia nyata, proses penemuan ide-ide berkaitan erat dengan self regulation. Model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat adalah model pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan siswa untuk mengamalkan nilai sains, menerapkan pengetahuan ilmiah dan memecahkan masalah di lingkungan masyarakat, dengan ide yang tengah terjadi di masyarakat sebagai topik dalam pembelajaran, model ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan self regulation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan self regulation. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen, desain penelitian Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMPN 1 Sumberejo, diperoleh sampel dengan cluster random sampling yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan MANOVA, diperoleh hasil sig< 0,05 artinya model pebelajaran Sains Teknologi Masyarakat berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan self regulation peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Sumberejo

Cinnamon contains flavonoid compounds that can reduce diabetes blood glucose levels. Diabetes is a group of metabolic disorders characterized by impaired glucose metabolism. The use of injectable or oral chemical drugs is relatively expensive and produces side effects. One class of secondary metabolite compounds that can treat diabetes mellitus is flavonoids. One of the plants that contain flavonoids is Cinnamomum burmanii. The purpose of this study was to examine the extract of Cinnamomum burmanii stem bark in terms of the extraction method and the effective dose against diabetes. The method used is to study 33 selected articles to obtain 5 national journals, 10 international journals, and 8 indexed journals, totaling 23 articles. The results of the identification of 23 scientific articles show that the use of doses in the range 1-200 mg / kgBW by the maceration extraction method is 39.13%. The conclusion obtained from this review literature is that the use of cinnamon bark extract (Cinnamomum burmanii) by maceration method in the dose range 1-200 mg / kgBW can be used to reduce diabetes blood glucose levels

Fluorescent pseudomonad is a biological agent that can be used as a controlling plant disease, increasing plant growth and phosphate availability for plants, as well as producing compounds that are signals for plants to produce secondary metabolites that are antimicrobial. Pseudomonad fluorescent can be grown in various growing media. The purpose of the study was to find out the number of pseudomonad fluorescent bacteria in Cas isolates grown in various formulas. This research is an experimental study. The design used complete random design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 3 replays. The treatment is formula M1 (molasses 10 g/L+ ZA 5 g/L), M2 (molasses 10 g/L+ ZA 10 g/L), M3 (molasses 5 g/L+ ZA 5 g/L), M4 (molasses 5 g/L+ ZA 10 g/L), and M5 (NB 8 g/). The data obtained was analyzed with Anova and DNMRT dvanced tests at a real rate of 5%. The results showed that pseudomonad fluorescent isolate Cas grown in formula M3 ( molasses 5g/L + ZA 5 g/L) produced the highest number of bacteria which is 118.3 x 108 while the lowest number of bacteria in formula M5 ( NB 8g/L) is 9.76 x 108 cfu/mL.

COVID-19 has an impact on various sectors of life. One of them has an impact on the education system. The learning system that is usually carried out directly and face-to-face has turned into online learning where teachers and students do not need to meet in person. Online learning is an alternative to break the chain of spreading COVID-19. Online learning is a new challenge for Indonesian education. One of them is learning biology. This research was conducted to determine the perceptions of teachers and students regarding online learning during the pandemic period in biology subjects. The method used was a survey by distributing questionnaires to teachers and students of class XI IPA as respondents. The questionnaire consists of several statement items using a Likert scale with 4 alternative answers. The questionnaire for teachers focuses on 4 dimensions, namely implementation, interest, motivation, and attitudes and responses. In the questionnaire for students, it focuses on 5 dimensions, namely implementation, interest, motivation, attitudes and responses, and satisfaction. The results showed that online learning in biology subjects had not been carried out well. Teachers and students have problems in implementing online biology learning

Fungi are eukaryotic organisms that do not have green leaf substance (chlorophyll), have different shapes and sizes, are unicellular and multicellular in addition to fungi also do not like light. The Jorong River Pangalek Forest Area is one of the places that has high humidity and low temperature. This is because the forest area has dense trees and shrubs. This research was conducted in January 2021, using a descriptive survey for field sampling using the tracking method on a radius of 10 meters to the left and to the right along the predetermined research path. Sample identification was carried out at the Botany (Biology) Laboratory of STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. The results of the research that have been obtained in the Jorong Sungai Pangalek Forest area found 28 types of macroscopic fungi belonging to 2 divisions, 5 classes, 9 orders, 13 families and 21 genera. Environmental factors that affect the air temperature ranges from 210C-250C, humidity ranges from 28% - 35%, and soil pH around 6.4 - 6.6. Based on these results, it shows that the Jorong River Pangalek Forest area has a variety of macroscopic types of fungi.

The purpose of this study was to determine the creative thinking ability of students who are high achievers, medium achievers, low achievers at SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Penuh and to determine a comparative analysis of the creative thinking abilities of all students in biology learning at SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Penuh. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. informants in the study were biology teachers and students at SMP Negeri 12 Sungai Penuh. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of the research are the creative thinking abilities of high achieving students are students who have the maximum creative thinking stage, Students who have high creative thinking abilities have better achievement and their thinking abilities follow the stages in creative thinking skills. are students who have the ability at several stages of creative thinking, but there are also some stages of creative thinking that still cannot be implemented properly and optimally. Such as the illumination stage and the verification stage. Students with low creative thinking abilities have low learning achievement. Materi fungi bersifat abstrak berpotensi menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis miskonsepsi siswa pada materi fungi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2020 hingga Juli 2020. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA. Sampel yang diteliti berjumlah 47 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen soal sebanyak 41 soal pilihan ganda dan instrumen angket sebanyak 35 pertanyaan. Data dianalisis mengunakan uji validitas soal dan uji validitas angket. Data yang diperoleh diolah secara kuantitatif dengan Microsoft Excel. Uji validitas soal mendapatkan hasil bahwa pengetahuan konsep siswa terhadap materi fungi tergolong rendah. Uji validitas angket mendapatkan hasil bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar berasal dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Sub materi yang memiliki pengetahuan konsep yang paling rendah dan tingkat kesulitan belajar dengan kategori tinggi yaitu klasifikasi fungi dengan presentase (46%). Kesulitan belajar pada faktor internal yaitu pada minat, motivasi, kesiapan dan perhatian siswa. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu lingkungan sekolah, keluarga dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi fungi masih rendah terlihat dari penguasaan konsep dan faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Rotating Trio Exchange learning strategy on ecosystem materials on the activities and learning outcomes of class X students at Madrasah Aliyah Kedaisianam. The research design used for this research is in the form of the Nonequevalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques using pretest-posttest and observation sheets. In this study, it is know that there is an effect of the Rotating Trio Exchange learning strategy on activities as evidenced by the average by the average value of the percentage of student learning activities in the good category.While in the control class the average percentage value of student learning activities is in the sufficient category. The learning outcomes obtained were 55.95 (pretest) and 90.00 (posttest) for the experimental class and the average learning outcomes in the control class were 53.33 (pretest) and 84.76 (posttest). For the results of the t-test, it is found that tcount 3.20 while ttable 2.09. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be proven that the Rotating Trio Exchange strategy has an effect on the activities and learning outcomes of class X students at Madrasah Aliyah.
