Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of verbs in Surah Al-Kahfi Ayat 9–26, especially in the story of Ashḥābul Kahfi, through a morphological approach (ṣarf) using a qualitative literature study method. The main focus of the study is to classify and study in depth the verbs of tsulāthī mujarrad and mazīd bi ḥarfin, and to explain their functions and meaning tendencies in the context of the Ayat. In the analysis process, each verb is reviewed in terms of madī and muḍāri‘ forms, wazan patterns, basic or additional meanings, and their relationship to the meaning of the Ayat as a whole. The results of the study show that the verbs of tsulāthī mujarrad tend to be used to describe the direct actions of the young men of Ashḥābul Kahfi, such as talking, walking, or sleeping. Meanwhile, the verbs of mazīd bi ḥarfin appear more often in the context of Allah's intervention or power, such as giving instructions, revealing events, or recording information. This finding reveals how the choice of the form of the fi’il in the Qur’an has a significant semantic and rhetorical role, and shows the richness of the structure and economy of the Arabic language. This analysis is expected to broaden scientific insight in the field of Qur’anic linguistics and contribute to Arabic morphological studies, especially in understanding the structure of fi’il derived from the sacred text.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of technology-based learning media on Arabic learning outcomes in students. In the digital era, the use of technology in the learning process has become an important strategy to improve the effectiveness and attractiveness of learning. Arabic, as a subject that requires a deep understanding of vocabulary, grammar, and language skills, is greatly assisted by the presence of interactive and flexible technological media. Through a quantitative approach, data was collected from students who used technology-based media in Arabic language learning and analyzed to assess the extent of improvement in their learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that the use of technology-based media has a significant impact on improving students' learning outcomes, particularly in terms of material comprehension and learning motivation. Therefore, the use of technology-based learning media is recommended as part of the teaching strategy for Arabic language instruction in schools.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the digital era has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including in the world of Islamic education. This transformation requires curriculum adjustments that not only maintain the values of Islamic teachings, but are also able to adapt to the needs of the times. This article aims to review and analyze the development of an adaptive Islamic education curriculum amidst the dynamics of the digital era. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative method based on literature studies, by reviewing various relevant literature related to the basic concepts of the curriculum, the principles of Islamic education, and the integration of technology in learning. The results of the study show that the development of Islamic education curriculum in the digital era cannot be done partially, but requires a holistic and collaborative approach. The involvement of various parties, such as educational institutions, government, and society is very necessary to create a relevant and contextual curriculum. The implementation of an online learning platform is one of the strategic solutions to improve the accessibility, quality, and efficiency of Islamic religious learning, especially in remote areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between fi'il rules in Arabic and the teaching of values and life lessons. Fi'il rules, which cover aspects of time (madhi, mudhari', and amr), form of action, and actor, not only function as grammatical elements in Arabic grammar, but also have deep philosophical and ethical dimensions. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this study examines key texts such as grammar books, the Quran, and classical and contemporary Islamic educational works. The results of the study indicate that understanding the structure and meaning of fi’il can be a strategic tool in instilling life values such as responsibility, discipline, diligence in doing good deeds, and spiritual awareness. Fi’il amr, for example, is frequently found in the verses of the Qur’an as a command to perform good deeds, avoid prohibitions, and build noble character. Thus, the study of fi’il rules can be used as an important tool in character education and noble ethics, especially in the context of integrative and value-based Arabic language learning.

Abstract

The rofa' alif sign in Arabic grammar not only has a grammatical function, but also contains symbolic meaning that is relevant to leadership values. This research aims to analyze the correlation between the symbolism of Rofa' Alif and the principles of policy and firmness in Islamic leadership. The method used is a descriptive qualitative study with a semiotic approach, including analysis of the text of the Nahwu book, interpretation, as well as interviews with Arabic language experts and Islamic leadership figures. The research results show that the rofa' alif sign represents firmness of principles, which is reflected in the straight and upright form of the alif, as well as justice because its use is limited to certain grammatical structures. Apart from that, this symbol also depicts wisdom through contextual flexibility in its application. These findings indicate that rofa' alif can be used as a symbol to frame an ideal leadership model that integrates firmness and wisdom, in accordance with leadership values in Islam. This research contributes to a new understanding of the relationship between Arabic linguistics and leadership concepts, and offers a unique perspective for the development of cultural and linguistic values-based leadership theories.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategic role of education in shaping Islamic civilization during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, particularly through the social dynamics that took place during the Mecca and Medina periods. This study uses a systematic literature review method, collecting data from various historical literature, classical Islamic education, and current academic sources. The results of the study indicate that education during the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW not only served as a means of conveying religious teachings but also as an effective instrument of social change. Through a prophetic approach integrated with societal realities, education was able to shape individuals of faith while building a civilized, inclusive, and value-based social system rooted in divine principles. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that education is the main foundation in the process of transforming a jahiliyyah society into an Islamic society that is just and civilized. This prophetic education model is relevant as inspiration for the development of a holistic and transformative contemporary Islamic education system.

Abstract

The era of globalization has significantly impacted various aspects of life, including the Islamic education system. The rapid pace of modernization and technological advancement necessitates a renewal of educational approaches that remain rooted in Islamic values. This study aims to comparatively examine the concept of Islamic education from the perspectives of two prominent figures, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and KH. Abdurrahman Wahid, in responding to the challenges of globalization while preserving Islamic and national identity. This research employs a qualitative method through a library research approach, using content analysis of the major works of both thinkers. Al-Attas emphasizes education as a process of Islamization of knowledge and the cultivation of adab (ethical discipline), whereas Wahid focuses on the importance of inclusivity, pluralism, and openness to global thought while upholding Islamic principles. Their differing backgrounds and intellectual orientations offer unique frameworks in formulating an Islamic education system relevant to contemporary contexts. The findings reveal that despite methodological and philosophical differences, both figures share the view that Islamic education serves as a means of social and moral transformation. Al-Attas’s concept is more normative and philosophical, while Wahid’s ideas are practical and contextual. These insights suggest that synthesizing both perspectives could provide a strategic foundation for developing an Islamic education system that is both adaptive to global challenges and faithful to spiritual and cultural Islamic values.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era marks a fundamental transformation in the education system, including Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning. This study examines the effectiveness of digital media in IRE learning in the Society 5.0 era, focusing on the integration of modern technology and traditional religious values. Through a literature review and descriptive analysis approach, this study identifies the various digital media used in IRE, analyzes their effectiveness levels, and formulates strategies for optimizing learning. The research findings indicate that digital media such as e-learning platforms, Islamic education apps, immersive technology, social media, e-books, Islamic educational games, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have proven effective in enhancing students' learning motivation. However, challenges arise in terms of integrating technology with traditional teaching methods and proficiency in using ICT. This study recommends PAI learning strategies that integrate modern technology with the reinforcement of Islamic religious principles to achieve holistic educational goals in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study stems from the phenomenon of the gap between the idealism of Islamic boarding school (pesantren) education, which is rich in moral values, and the reality of students' behavior influenced by digital culture. The research aims to describe how the process of internalizing akhlak mahmudah (noble character values) takes place in pesantren in facing the challenges of the digital era.This study uses a literature review approach by examining relevant scholarly sources on the internalization of akhlak mahmudah values in pesantren during the digital era. The findings show that internalization occurs through three stages: value transformation, transaction, and transinternalization, which are strengthened through the strategies of exemplary behavior, habituation, supervision, and integration of values into pesantren culture.Digital challenges such as uncontrolled access to information, lifestyles driven by social media trends, and weak character-based digital literacy are major concerns in education, particularly within the pesantren context. This study offers a fresh perspective by highlighting the importance of adaptive and contextual strategies in nurturing students’ character so that it remains relevant amid the intense flow of digital influence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategy of managing superior classes at SMPIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta in order to improve the quality of education and student learning achievement. Superior classes are classes that are specifically designed for students who have high academic potential and require an intensive, innovative learning approach, and are supported by adequate facilities. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the strategy of managing superior classes at SMPIT Abu Bakar Yogyakarta is carried out through careful planning, organizing learning structures, implementing active teaching, and systematic evaluation. Supporting factors in the implementation of superior classes include teacher quality, parental involvement, and learning facilities. The obstacles faced include social disparities between classes, limited certain facilities, and variations in student character. The solutions implemented include teacher training, improving communication between classes, and optimizing the use of learning technology.
