Abstract

This study aims to analyze the rudimentary financial recording practices and the process of preparing financial statements for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Toko Kayla in Tanjungpinang City. Toko Kayla, operating in the retail trade sector for daily necessities since early 2024, is an interesting object of research because despite having an active transaction volume, the owner, Ibu Muridawati, still records transactions simply and has not implemented the applicable accounting standards.The method used is quantitative descriptive with a case study approach, where data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation study of Toko Kayla's transactions and activities for the 2024 period. The research findings indicate that Toko Kayla's current financial records are not fully compliant with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). The lack of understanding regarding accounting and SAK EMKM is a major obstacle, making it difficult for the owner to accurately calculate profit or loss and resulting in a lack of formal financial reports (statement of comprehensive income, statement of financial position, and notes to the financial statements).

Abstract

Bank Indonesia has established the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), a national payment system standard based on QR codes, to integrate various digital payment instruments into the National Payment System. The purpose of this policy is to improve transaction convenience and the security of the payment system, especially for UMKM. The aim of this research is to examine how QRIS is regulated and implemented from the perspective of Indonesian economic law, as well as its legal impact on legal certainty, consumer protection, and healthy business competition. A normative juridical research method is used, employing legislation and conceptual analysis. The research results show that QRIS is a powerful economic legal tool with a strong legal basis. Additionally, it serves as a tool to reduce chaos in the payment system. However, there are still issues with personal data security, transaction security, and oversight efficiency. As a result, to ensure the national digital payment system continues to operate smoothly, regulatory strengthening and harmonization between regulators are needed.

Abstract

Generation Z (Gen Z), born between approximately 1995 and 2010, is the first generation to grow up fully embedded in digital ecosystems and social media environments. In Indonesia, particularly in semi-urban areas such as Cibubur Raya, the widespread use of smartphones and app-based platforms has profoundly reshaped daily routines, consumption patterns, social interactions, and value orientations among Gen Z students. This article examines how social media use influences Gen Z lifestyles in Cibubur Raya, focusing on mobility, consumption behaviour, health-related practices, and socio-emotional life. Using a mixed-methods explanatory–descriptive approach, the study integrates a narrative review of global and Indonesian research published between 2020 and 2025, a conceptual synthesis of generational and social network theories, and the design of a school-based survey complemented by qualitative insights from teachers. Validated measurement instruments on social media use and problematic use among adolescents inform the survey framework. The findings identify four key patterns. First, high levels of social media engagement support identity formation and peer belonging but also contribute to social fatigue and problematic use for some adolescents. Second, influencer cultures significantly shape consumption, mobility, and financial behaviours, generating both opportunities and risks. Third, intensive social media use is associated with sleep disruption, sedentary lifestyles, body image concerns, and mental health symptoms, though impacts vary by context. Fourth, teachers observe a gap between students’ digital skills and their critical literacy, ethical awareness, and resilience. The study concludes by recommending integrated digital literacy, health, and well-being interventions.

Abstract

Ports play a strategic role in supporting the smooth flow of national logistics; therefore, the operational performance of port authorities is a crucial factor in loading and unloading activities. This study aims to analyze the role and performance of the Port Authority and Harbormaster Office (KSOP) in supporting the smoothness of loading and unloading activities of steel cargo vessels at Tanjung Balai Karimun Port. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through field observations, interviews, and documentation during an internship program at KSOP Tanjung Balai Karimun. Primary data were obtained from observations of 35 steel cargo vessels with a total cargo volume of 42,000 tons, interviews with KSOP officers, port operators, and shipping agents, as well as operational documentation. Secondary data were derived from KSOP operational reports, the Inaportnet system, and relevant literature. The results indicate that KSOP performance has a significant influence on the smoothness of loading and unloading activities, as reflected by an Effective Time to Berth Time (ET/BT) ratio of 62.4%, an average vessel waiting time of 0.85 hours, and a loading and unloading productivity rate of 26 tons per hour. Operational efficiency is supported by effective coordination among KSOP, port operators, and shipping agents; however, several constraints remain, including limited supporting facilities and potential administrative delays. This study concludes that optimizing digital-based service systems and strengthening inter-agency coordination are key strategies to improving loading and unloading performance at Tanjung Balai Karimun Port..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran TikTok sebagai medium jurnalisme baru melalui analisis narasi berita pada format video pendek di akun @metro_tv, dengan fokus pada studi kasus tragedi meninggalnya wisatawan asal Brasil, Juliana Marins, di Gunung Rinjani. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kerangka analisis framing model Robert N. Entman, penelitian ini membedah bagaimana realitas peristiwa dikonstruksi melalui elemen pendefinisian masalah, diagnosis penyebab, penilaian moral, dan rekomendasi penyelesaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TikTok berfungsi sebagai ruang jurnalisme digital yang adaptif, di mana Metro TV berhasil mentransformasi isu-isu kompleks seperti problematika diplomatik dan prosedur forensik menjadi narasi audiovisual yang padat, emosional, dan mudah dipahami tanpa mereduksi esensi nilai jurnalistik. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kekuatan visual, pemilihan diksi yang tepat, serta strategi pembingkaian yang humanis mampu menjaga kredibilitas informasi di tengah dinamika media sosial yang menuntut kecepatan dan keterlibatan audiens yang tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya saing komparatif dan kompetitif usahatani kelapa sawitrakyat serta dampak kebijakan pemerintah di Kecamatan Mersam, Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitiandilaksanakan pada tahun 2024 menggunakan metode survei terhadap 43 petani kelapa sawit yang dipilihsecara purposive di Desa Sengkati Mudo dan Desa Simpang Rantau Gedang. Analisis data dilakukan denganmetode Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) untuk mengukur keuntungan privat, keuntungan sosial, keunggulankomparatif, keunggulan kompetitif, serta dampak kebijakan pemerintah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa usahatani kelapa sawit rakyat menguntungkan dengan keuntungan privat sebesarRp22.104.134,46/ha dan keuntungan sosial sebesar Rp11.010.442,12/ha. Nilai PCR sebesar 0,69 danDRCR sebesar 0,82, nilai yang lebih kecil daripada satu, menunjukkan adanya keunggulan kompetitif dankomparatif. Hasil uji one sample test menunjukkan bahwa secara signifikan kelapa sawit mempunyai dayasaing baik dari aspek indikator daya saing PCR dan DRCR. Dari sisi kebijakan, pemerintah memberikanperlindungan terhadap output, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai NPCO dan EPC sebesar 1,18. Namun, pada sisiinput, petani masih menghadapi harga input tradable yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan harga sosial,tercermin dari nilai NPCI sebesar 1,16. Secara keseluruhan, usahatani kelapa sawit rakyat di KecamatanMersam memiliki daya saing yang baik dan layak dikembangkan dengan memperhatikan efisiensi inputserta kebijakan yang lebih mendukung petani.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan public speaking masyarakat, khususnya ibu-ibu PKK Kelurahan Kedaung. Rendahnya rasa percaya diri, ketergantungan pada teks, serta keterbatasan penguasaan teknik dasar berbicara di depan umum menjadi permasalahan utama yang dihadapi peserta. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 25 November 2025, dengan melibatkan sebanyak 150 peserta. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, simulasi, serta praktik langsung public speaking yang menekankan aspek intonasi suara, kontak mata, bahasa tubuh, ekspresi, dan pengelolaan rasa gugup. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kepercayaan diri peserta dalam menyampaikan gagasan di depan umum, berkurangnya ketergantungan pada teks, serta meningkatnya kemampuan komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal peserta. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan berlangsung. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan keterampilan komunikasi masyarakat serta mendukung pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya pada aspek pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Diharapkan kegiatan serupa dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan guna memperkuat kapasitas sumber daya manusia di tingkat masyarakat.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang menentukan keberhasilan proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Namun, pada praktiknya pembelajaran IPS masih sering dilaksanakan secara konvensional sehingga kurang mampu menarik minat dan motivasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual berbasis aplikasi Canva terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPS di UPTD SD Negeri 122349. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 24 siswa kelas V. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket motivasi belajar. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik untuk melihat perbedaan motivasi belajar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual berbasis Canva memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, media audio visual berbasis aplikasi Canva dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPS di sekolah dasar

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the Qur'anic text's figurative language (parables) through the lens of Balaghah, the Arabic science of rhetoric, in order to decipher its profound significance. The study utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, systematically analyzing Qur'anic texts according to Balaghah principles, including isyarah (figurative expression), tasybih (simile), and isti’arah (metaphor). The findings show that the Qur'anic use of parables serves multiple purposes: it explains abstract ideas, makes people feel something, and reinforces Islamic teachings. This study highlights the importance of comprehending Balaghah for scholars and readers of the Qur'an in order to understand its rhetorical beauty and implied meanings, which in turn enhances the depth and breadth of Qur'anic study and interpretation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing consumers’ purchase intention toward electric vehicles in Medan City. A quantitative approach was employed with a total sample of 123 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The independent variables consist of Attitude (X1), Subjective Norms (X2), Perceived Behavioral Control (X3), Price Value (X4), Perceived Risk (X5), Environmental Self-Image (X6), and Infrastructure Barrier (X7), while the dependent variable is Purchase Intention (Y). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software.   The results indicate that Attitude (X1), Perceived Behavioral Control (X3), Environmental Self-Image (X6), and Infrastructure Barrier (X7) have a positive and significant effect on consumers’ purchase intention toward electric vehicles in Medan City. Meanwhile, Subjective Norms (X2), Price Value (X4), and Perceived Risk (X5) show no significant effect on purchase intention. Therefore, it can be concluded that consumers’ positive attitudes, perceived behavioral control, environmental self-image, and adequate infrastructure support are key factors that enhance consumers’ intention to purchase electric vehicles in Medan City.
