Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the sports class management strategy at MTsN 6 Sragen and its impact on the image of the madrasah. The establishment of dedicated sports classes in educational institutions in Indonesia, including religious-based schools, is a relevant innovation for optimizing student potential, both in academic and non-academic areas. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study collected data through in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, such as the madrasah principal, program coordinator, sports teachers, and students. The results identified four main themes: (1) sports class management as a form of educational innovation, (2) the role of sports in character building and the image of the madrasah, and (3) challenges faced in implementing sports classes, and (4) contributions within the community to strengthen madrasa branding. Despite various obstacles, such as limited facilities and budget, sports classes have great potential to contribute to improving the image of madrasas and developing student character. This study also highlights the importance of support from internal stakeholders and the external community in ensuring the successful management of sports classes and enhancing the reputation of madrasas. The findings of this study provide an overview of the importance of integrating sports into educational strategies and its impact on comprehensive student character development, which in turn can strengthen the positive image of the institution.

Abstract

This study investigates effective strategies to improve the motivation and job satisfaction of elementary school teachers working in rural settings, with a particular focus on SD Negeri 2 Kopen, Jatipurno District. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a phenomenological design. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document reviews involving eight teachers with varying professional backgrounds and experiences. The results indicate that teachers maintain a high level of motivation and job satisfaction, even amid limited infrastructure and resources. Intrinsic factors play the most crucial role in shaping teachers’ enthusiasm and satisfaction—especially the sense of purpose in their profession, moral commitment to students, and the spiritual values that drive their dedication to teaching. Additionally, supportive leadership from the principal and positive social interactions among colleagues foster a conducive and collaborative work environment, enhancing teachers’ emotional attachment to their institution. In contrast, extrinsic aspects such as financial compensation and physical facilities were perceived as less adequate but did not significantly reduce teachers’ motivation or work commitment. These outcomes align with both classical and modern motivation theories, including Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, Self-Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan), and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Each emphasizes that motivation and job satisfaction are grounded in fulfilling essential psychological needs—autonomy, competence, and relatedness—alongside achieving meaning and self-actualization within one’s profession. Consequently, this research suggests the need for supportive and participatory leadership, a collaborative school culture, and ongoing professional development programs as key strategies to sustain and strengthen teachers’ motivation and job satisfaction in rural elementary education.

Abstract

Pergeseran geopolitik Asia-Pasifik menempatkan Sulawesi Utara sebagai wilayah terdepan bibir Pasifik yang menghadapi ancaman non-tradisional seperti perubahan iklim dan ketimpangan Barat-Timur Indonesia, di mana studi existing kurang integrasi holistik human security-geostrategi. Penelitian kualitatif studi kasus instrumental ini mengelaborasi penguatan human security sebagai strategi pengelolaan, mengkorelasikan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia dengan posisi geostrategis. Populasi mencakup dokumen human security dan geostrategi Sulawesi Utara (1937-2025); purposive sampling pilih 20-30 sumber representatif hingga saturasi teoritis. Dokumen sekunder sebagai instrumen, dianalisis model Miles dan Huberman dengan coding tematik, triangulasi, dan content analysis. Hasil tunjukkan lokasi Pasifik perkuat hub perdagangan seperti KEK Bitung di tengah pergeseran kekuatan global yang butuh keseimbangan state-human security via pendidikan, kesehatan, ekonomi. Kesimpulan sarankan integrasi teori Ratulangi dengan human security Paris untuk pembangunan resilien berorientasi global yang seimbang militer-kesejahteraan

Abstract

Mesin pembakaran internal merupakan sumber tenaga utama pada kendaraan bermotor yang kinerjanya sangat dipengaruhi oleh sistem pendinginan. Suhu kerja mesin yang terlalu tinggi dapat menurunkan efisiensi termal, mempercepat keausan komponen, serta meningkatkan konsumsi bahan bakar. Oleh karena itu,diperlukan metode pendinginan yang lebih efektif untuk menjaga stabilitas suhu operasi mesin.Penenlitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisisdan mengembangkan metode pendinginan yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi mesin pembakaran internal melalui pengendalian suhu optimal pada rung bakar dan komponen vital mesin.Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Beberapa sistem pendinginan di bandingkan,yaitu pendinginan konvesional berbasis air, pendinginan berbasis cairan etilen glikol, dan sistem pendingin tambahan menggunakan modul termoelektrik (peltier). Hasil menunjukan bahwa penggunaan sistem pendinginan hibrida (air + paltier) mampu menurunkan suhu kerja mesin seingga 12% di banding sistem konvesional dan meningkatkan efisiensi termal sebesar 7,8%. Selain itu, konsumsi bahan bakar menurun secara signifikat tanpa mengurangi performa mesin. Metode hibrida terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi mesin pembakaran internal melalui pengendalian suhu yang lebih stabil. Penerapan metode ini berpotensi di kembangkan untuk kendaraan hemat energi dan ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

The accelerated development of digital technologies has generated significant implications for human resource management practices within the tourism industry. These changes necessitate continuous adjustments in workforce competencies to effectively respond to increasingly complex and technology-driven industry dynamics. Within the framework of Industry 5.0, digital transformation is no longer understood merely as an effort to optimize operational efficiency, but rather as a strategic process aimed at reinforcing the role of humans as the central actors of innovation, oriented toward human values and sustainability. This article aims to comprehensively examine the role of digital upskilling and reskilling as strategic approaches to developing tourism human resource capabilities in response to the adoption of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and shifts in tourist preferences and behaviors. The study employs a literature review approach by analyzing various empirical and conceptual studies relevant to human resource development, digital transformation, and sustainable tourism. The findings indicate that digital upskilling and reskilling play a strategic role in shaping core competencies of tourism human resources that are adaptive, creative, and highly competitive. Beyond enhancing digital technical skills, these approaches also contribute to strengthening social, cognitive, and innovative capabilities among tourism workers. The study underscores that the development of tourism human resources aligned with the principles of human-centric innovation is a critical prerequisite for ensuring the sustainability and competitiveness of the tourism industry in the era of Industry 5.0.

Abstract

Sexual deviant behavior develops along with the times to lead to crime, while Islam strongly opposes sexual deviant behavior. Indonesia as a nation with the majority of Muslims, ideally the values of Islamic law can be actualized in the national criminal law. However, in reality, the new Criminal Code does not explicitly mention sexual deviant behavior, and this results in the low legal certainty of the act. This research aims to identify the behavior of sexual deviation in the view of Islamic law as well as the actualization of Islamic legal values in the criminalization of sexual deviation in the new Criminal Code. The type of research method used in this study is normative juridical with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results of this study found that the behavior of sexual deviation in the view of Islamic law has 3 kinds, against humans, animals and inanimate objects. The form of actualization of Islamic legal values related to sexual deviant behavior in the new Criminal Code is identified in the form of: homosexuality, lesbidan, pedophila, bestiality or zoophilia, necrophilia, inces, digisexual, exhibitionism, frotteurism and thus, the New Criminal Code has regulated acts that can be categorized as sexual perversion as in the view of Islamic legal values.

Abstract

Kota Ambon menghadapi permasalahan serius dalam pengelolaan sampah, di mana timbunan harian sekitar 246,74 ton melebihi kapasitas pengangkutan sebesar 185,5 ton sehingga terjadi penumpukan di beberaopa sudut kota dan TPA Toisapu dengan karakteristik sampah campuran berkadar air tinggi (sekitar 55%). Kondisi ini menurunkan nilai kalor efektif (LHV), menyebabkan pembakaran kurang stabil, dan menjadikan kinerja sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Sampah (PLTSa) kurang efisien. Penelitian ini mengkaji sistem PLTSa konfigurasi turbin uap konvensional dengan konfigurasi terintegrasi rotary dryer, di mana uap panas keluaran turbin (170°C, 8 bar) dimanfaatkan sebagai media pengering sekaligus pengkondensasi untuk menurunkan kadar air sampah dari 55% menjadi 12% sebelum pembakaran. Analisis termodinamika dan eksergi dilakukan untuk laju alir sampah 2,1 kg/s dengan kondisi operasi sebagaimana guna membandingkan kinerja kedua sistem PLTSa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengeringan meningkatkan LHV dari 3,26 MJ/kg menjadi 7,55 MJ/kg, menaikkan daya listrik netto dari sekitar 0,60 MW menjadi 0,943 MW, serta meningkatkan efisiensi termal dari 8,8% menjadi 10,6% dan efisiensi eksergi dari 7,5% menjadi 10,1%. Analisis eksergi mengidentifikasi boiler sebagai sumber utama destruksi eksergi (sekitar 6,158 MW atau 66,7% dari total 9,232 MW), diikuti oleh rotary dryer dan turbin, sementara kontribusi pompa sangat kecil. Secara keseluruhan, konsep integrasi rotary dryer ini secara signifikan meningkatkan pemanfaatan energi dan eksergi dari sampah campuran serta mendukung pengelolaan sampah dan energi yang lebih berkelanjutan di wilayah pesisir seperti Ambon

Abstract

The decline of exemplary leadership represents a fundamental challenge in contemporary Islamic education, where leadership is increasingly reduced to administrative functions rather than serving as a moral and spiritual role model. This study aims to critically analyze the decadence of exemplary leadership in Islamic educational institutions from the perspective of Islamic educational management grounded in Qur’anic ethics. Employing a qualitative library research approach, this study applies thematic tafsir analysis of Qur’anic verses and prophetic traditions related to leadership, trust (amanah), justice, honesty, and ihsan, and integrates them with contemporary Islamic educational management literature. The findings indicate that the weak internalization of Qur’anic values in leadership practices results in crises of integrity, moral inconsistency, and value dissonance, which negatively affect organizational culture, institutional trust, and the normative goals of Islamic education. This study emphasizes that exemplary leadership constitutes the core legitimacy of leadership in Islamic education and cannot be replaced by managerial competence alone, and it proposes a conceptual framework for restoring Islamic educational leadership through the integration of Qur’anic ethics and modern management principles.

Abstract

Kegiatan bimbingan belajar di Nagari Pilubang merupakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Program ini dilaksanakan sebagai respons terhadap tantangan pendidikan di daerah pedesaan yang memerlukan dukungan tambahan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi akademik siswa. Melalui metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan pendekatan personal, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap prestasi akademik dan motivasi belajar siswa di wilayah Nagari Pilubang, Sumatera Barat. Kegiatan bimbingan belajar dilaksanakan dari tanggal 25 Juni 2025 hingga 10 Juli 2025, dengan frekuensi 2 kali seminggu pada hari Selasa dan Kamis. Berdasarkan hasil pretest, dari 21 responden, 8 siswa (38%) memiliki hasil belajar kategori kurang, 9 siswa (43%) kategori sedang, dan 4 siswa (19%) kategori baik. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan bimbingan belajar, hasil posttest menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dimana siswa dengan kategori kurang menurun menjadi 2 siswa (10%), kategori sedang menjadi 7 siswa (33%), dan kategori baik meningkat menjadi 11 siswa (52%). Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bimbingan belajar efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan adanya program ini, diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

Pengelolaan kas merupakan salah satu fungsi strategis dalam operasional bank umum karena berkaitan langsung dengan kemampuan bank dalam memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendek, menjaga kelancaran transaksi, serta mempertahankan kepercayaan publik. Kas sebagai aset paling likuid memiliki peran penting tidak hanya dalam aktivitas operasional harian, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen utama dalam manajemen risiko likuiditas dan pemenuhan ketentuan regulator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif konsep, karakteristik, mekanisme, serta tantangan pengelolaan kas pada bank umum dalam perspektif akuntansi perbankan dan teori manajemen likuiditas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi kepustakaan dengan memanfaatkan buku Akuntansi Perbankan, standar akuntansi keuangan, serta regulasi Bank Indonesia dan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan kas yang efektif memerlukan sistem pencatatan real-time, klasifikasi kas yang tepat, serta rekonsiliasi harian sebagai bagian dari pengendalian internal. Selain itu, penerapan teori likuiditas seperti primary reserve theory, shiftability theory, dan anticipated income theory memberikan kerangka dalam menentukan jumlah kas yang optimal. Transformasi digital perbankan turut menambah kompleksitas pengelolaan kas melalui peningkatan transaksi real-time dan risiko operasional baru. Secara keseluruhan, pengelolaan kas yang efektif harus mengintegrasikan akurasi akuntansi, ketahanan likuiditas, serta pengendalian operasional untuk menjaga stabilitas dan kinerja bank umum.
