Abstract

This research aims to analyze the challenges and solutions of Islamic education in the digital era in an effort to maintain religious values in the midst of the rapid flow of modernization and technological development. This research uses the library research method by examining various relevant literature sources, such as books, journals, and previous research results. The results of the study show that technological advances have a great influence on students' learning patterns, behaviors, and moral values. However, with the right strategy, technology can also be used as a means of da'wah and strengthening Islamic character. Efforts that need to be made include the integration of Islamic values in digital-based learning, improving teachers' competence in technological literacy, and collaboration between schools, families, and communities. This research emphasizes that Islamic education must be adaptive to the development of the times, but still adhere to religious values in order to produce a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, faithful, and noble. In addition, curriculum innovation that is responsive to the needs of the times and the use of safe and directed digital media is needed to support the formation of students' character comprehensively.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction and loyalty are central issues in marketing management, as both play crucial roles in ensuring business sustainability amid increasing competition. Satisfied customers tend to make repeat purchases, provide positive recommendations, and build long-term relationships with the company. Therefore, understanding the factors that influence customer satisfaction and loyalty has become an important agenda for both academics and practitioners. This study aims to address two main questions: (1) What factors influence customer satisfaction? and (2) How does satisfaction contribute to the formation of customer loyalty? The method used is a literature review, selecting articles from various online databases such as ResearchGate, Academia, and open-access journals using the keywords customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Of the 45 identified articles, 20 were selected for in-depth analysis. The review results reveal three main trends: first, service and product quality are the most consistent determinants of satisfaction; second, price, promotion, and brand image play significant roles; and third, customer trust is an essential variable that strengthens the satisfaction–loyalty relationship. Overall, satisfaction functions as the main mediating variable in the formation of customer loyalty.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education has become a crucial issue in the era of globalization, marked by increasing competition between institutions and public expectations for superior educational services. Integrated Quality Management (TQM) emerges as a strategic approach to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction of various educational stakeholders. This study aims to review the development of studies related to TQM implementation in education through a qualitative literature review. Data were collected from scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025 using Google Scholar and Publish or Perish with the keywords "TQM implementation in education." From the initial 30 articles, five of the most relevant main articles were selected. The analysis revealed three main themes: (a) the application of TQM to strengthen institutional resilience, (b) the integration of Islamic values ​​in quality management, and (c) the challenges and opportunities of TQM in vocational education. This study concluded that the stakeholder satisfaction dimension remains underexplored and requires further empirical research.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia and the National Curriculum in Japan from both conceptual and practical perspectives. The analysis focuses on the fundamental principles, educational goals, learning approaches, and classroom implementation. Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes flexibility and autonomy for teachers and students, highlighting competency development, character building, and the Profil Pelajar Pancasila (Pancasila Student Profile). Meanwhile, Japan’s National Curriculum centers on fostering a well-balanced personality through integrated moral, social, and academic education. Conceptually, both curricula share similarities in promoting holistic learning and character education, yet they differ in implementation and assessment systems. In Indonesia, project-based and differentiated learning approaches are key features, whereas Japan emphasizes collaborative learning, discipline, and hands-on experience in daily life. Practically, Indonesia faces challenges in ensuring equal access to resources and teacher readiness, while Japan has established a stable and standardized national education system. This comparative analysis reveals that Indonesia can learn from Japan in terms of consistency, learning culture, and the integration of moral and social values. Thus, the study provides valuable insights for enhancing Indonesia’s curriculum to become more globally responsive while preserving national identity and character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi sekolah dalam mencegah dekadensi moral siswa di SMK Al–Azami Cianjur. Fenomena kemerosotan moral di kalangan pelajar menjadi tantangan serius di era modern, sehingga lembaga pendidikan Islam dituntut untuk berperan aktif dalam pembinaan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di SMK Al–Azami Cianjur selama Oktober–November 2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, serta peserta didik, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pencegahan dekadensi moral dilakukan melalui lima strategi utama: (1) pembiasaan religius melalui kegiatan shalat berjamaah, shalat dhuha, puasa sunnah, dan budaya 5S (senyum, salam, sapa, sopan, santun); (2) penguatan pendidikan moral dan etika di setiap mata pelajaran dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler; (3) pendampingan psikologis melalui layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) serta kerja sama dengan lembaga STIFIn untuk mengenali potensi siswa; (4) kolaborasi aktif antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat; serta (5) penerapan disiplin yang tegas namun mendidik. Strategi tersebut membentuk ekosistem pendidikan yang harmonis dan berakar pada nilai-nilai Islam. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis pembiasaan dan keteladanan efektif dalam membentuk generasi berakhlak mulia, disiplin, dan bertanggung jawab di tengah tantangan moral abad ke-21.

Abstract

The authority of fatwa in Islamic law is essential in directing the legal and moral behavior of Muslims. This study investigates the intricate dynamics of fatwa authority, emphasizing the equilibrium between its legality and its application in modern Islamic communities. The research investigates the historical underpinnings of fatwa issuance, examining the methodologies and standards used by religious scholars and organizations in the promulgation of fatwas. It also looks at the problems that come up when trying to put fatwas into practice in today's world, such as the role of governmental institutions, the many ways that Islamic scholars interpret them, and the changing demands of society. This study seeks to comprehend the legitimization and application of fatwas within various Muslim communities by a critical examination of legal and socio-political issues, while also evaluating the efficacy of fatwas in influencing contemporary Islamic legal practices. This research closes by offering ideas to augment the relevance and efficacy of fatwas within modern Islamic legal frameworks.

Abstract

This study compares the Islamic religious education systems in Indonesia and Malaysia with a particular focus on curriculum design and its implementation within secondary schools. Using a qualitative research approach, data were gathered through document analysis and interviews with educators and school administrators from both countries. The findings show that although Indonesia and Malaysia share similar objectives in fostering students’ understanding and practice of Islamic teachings, several significant differences remain in terms of curriculum structure, learning materials, and instructional strategies. In Indonesia, Islamic religious education is more closely integrated into the national curriculum, emphasizing a balance between religious values and general educational competencies. Meanwhile, Malaysia adopts a more specific and traditionally oriented curriculum that places stronger emphasis on classical Islamic knowledge and conventional pedagogical practices. Implementation in both countries is shaped by government policies, socio-cultural contexts, and local wisdom that influence how Islamic education is delivered in the classroom. Overall, this study is expected to contribute as a useful reference for enhancing the effectiveness, relevance, and contextualization of Islamic education systems in both nations.

Abstract

This research aims to respond to the complex challenges of the digital era, where students are not only required to develop scientific thinking skills but also to strengthen ethics and character as the primary basis for filtering information and acting wisely in cyberspace. Rapid technological developments are often not directly proportional to the mastery of moral literacy, so the application of Islamic ethical values ​​is crucial to create a balance between intellectual intelligence and good morals. This research aims to examine how combining scientific thinking with Islamic ethics can strengthen students' character, while also identifying effective implementation approaches in contemporary learning environments. The method used is a literature study with descriptive qualitative analysis, involving the review of various literature sources related to scientific thinking, character education, and Islamic ethical principles. The results show that the collaboration between systematic, critical, and objective scientific thinking processes with Islamic ethical values ​​such as honesty, responsibility, and politeness can shape students' mindsets and behaviors that are more moderate, responsible, and ethical in the use of technology. This integration also improves students' ability to carefully assess digital information, make appropriate moral decisions, and avoid deviations in cyberspace. In terms of implications, this research emphasizes the need to develop a curriculum and teaching strategies that structuredly combine cognitive and affective aspects, so that schools can produce a generation that is not only academically superior, but also has a strong, adaptive character and noble morals amidst the unstoppable wave of digital technology development.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of repentance (taubah) as the foundation of moral pedagogy through a thematic interpretation approach to the Hadith Qudsi and classical and contemporary Islamic scholarly literature. The study employed a qualitative method based on literature review, examining the meaning, values, and educational implications of the teachings of repentance. The results of the study indicate that repentance is not merely understood as a spiritual act of seeking forgiveness, but as a holistic educational process. This process encompasses self-awareness (ma'rifah) of mistakes, deep regret (nadam), a strong determination not to repeat them ('azm), and concrete behavioral change ('amal). From an Islamic educational perspective, the values ​​of repentance play a crucial role in fostering moral responsibility, self-reflection, the habituation of good deeds, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement. The integration of repentance values ​​into learning can be realized through a character-based curriculum, reflective methods, strengthening worship practices, and moral development. Thus, repentance becomes an essential instrument in shaping a perfect human being who is faithful, has noble character, and possesses social awareness.     Kata kunci: Taubat, Hadis Qudsi, Pedagogi Moral, Pendidikan Islam, dan karakter.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of video media in visualizing Islamic values in the teaching of Aqidah and Akhlak at MA Al Manshuriyah Pagelaran. The study is grounded in the need for a more contextual, engaging, and relevant learning approach for the digital generation, particularly in delivering concepts such as monotheism, proper conduct, and social morality. A descriptive quantitative method was employed involving 24 students using questionnaires and classroom observations. The findings indicate that video media enhances student engagement, clarifies the understanding of abstract concepts, and fosters a more interactive learning atmosphere. The visualization of Islamic values through video enables students to comprehend commendable behavior more concretely and in relation to their daily experiences. The study implies that video-based learning is an effective strategy to strengthen value internalization in Aqidah and Akhlak teaching and is recommended for continuous integration into instructional practices.
