The Student Journal of Early Childhood Education focuses on early childhood studies, discussing parents-child relationship, multiple intelligence, and pedagogies to publish novel and relevant articles. This journal is published twice a year; March and September. This journal is published by Department of Early Childhood Education, Faculty of Education, and the State University of Gorontalo. Additionally, the readers of this journal are researchers, lecturers, students and other related professions from inter-disciplined majors. This research is experimental quantitative research. The result found a significant difference in the average pretest and posttest with a total of 20 students, which can prove the average value of the pretest data. pre-test data shows that the highest score is 20 and the lowest is 12. After analysis, the average value is 17.95, and the standard deviation is 2.2355. Meanwhile, post-test data shows the highest score is 40 and the lowest score is 32, and after analysis, the average value is 37.45, and the standard deviation is 2.7810. This demonstrates that the research sample obtained an increase in average results from the initial and final tests. Thus, this hypothesis study stated that there is an influence of rewards on interest in learning religious and moral values of children in TK. Rewards are a big attraction for children to continue participating in learning activities about religious and moral values, especially understanding prayer.

This study aimed to improve the cognitive abilities of children in group B. The design of this research is a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttes design. The research subjects were twenty children selected through purposive sampling. It can be proven by the results of the pre-test (before the experiment) amounted to 17.6, and the post-test (after the experiment) amounted to 21.9 The test results obtained tcount = 5.92417962, ttable value at = 0.05; dk = n-1 (20-1 = 29) obtained = 1.729. Thus, tcount is greater than ttable (tcount = 5.92417962; ttable = 1.729,). Based on the test criteria, Ha is accepted if tcount ≥ ttable at = 0.05; n-1; therefore, the alternative hypothesis or Ha can be accepted. All in all, it can be stated that there is an effect of the short story method on children's cognitive abilities. Short stories that are packaged in short and concise form make it easier for children to focus and comprehend information.

This study aims to determine the teacher's strategy in dealing with aggressive behavior in early childhood at Kihadjar Dewantoro 1 State Kindergarten, Kota Timur District, Gorontalo City. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research discussion, the strategy for dealing with early childhood aggressive behavior applied by teachers in Kihajdar Dewantoro 1 State Kindergarten, Kota Timur District, Gorontalo City, has been able to handle and minimize the occurrence of aggressive behavior. The results of this study describe the teacher's strategy for dealing with early childhood aggressive behavior in Kihajdar Dewantoro 1 State Kindergarten, Kota Timur District, Gorontalo City, that the strategy applied by the teacher has undergone changes for the better. Such as identifying children's problems by looking at and recording children's behavior with anecdotal notes. Then a gentle approach strategy by giving persuasion and giving praise. However, if a gentle approach strategy is not effective, a punishment strategy will be used.

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the development of audio-visual media in improving the cognitive abilities of group B children at the Damhil Darma Wanita Persatuan Kindergarten, Gorontalo State University, Gorontalo. The method used in this research is the research and development method. There are six stages, namely potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. From the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the development of audio-visual media in improving the cognitive abilities of group B children has been declared valid.

This study aimed to determine the effect of loose part media on the counting skills of 4-5-year-old at TK State Menara Laut Kindergarten, Leato District, Gorontalo City. This study employed a quantitative experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 15 children from Group A at the mentioned Kindergarten. The pretest data showed a highest score of 16 and a lowest score of 12, with an average score of 14.27. On the other hand, the posttest data displayed a highest score of 30 and a lowest score of 25, with an average score of 28.07, indicating an increase in the average score of 13.80. The results were also supported by the hypothesis test (t-test), showing a calculated t-count of 37.53 and a t-table of 2.14. This indicates that the t-count was greater than the t-table (37.53 > 2.14). Therefore, it was concluded that Ho was rejected, and H1 was accepted. This meant that there was a significant influence of the loose parts media on the counting skills of children at TK State Menara Laut Kindergarten in Leato District, Gorontalo City. Thus, the use of loose parts media proved to be an effective learning strategy for improving early childhood counting skills.

The aims of this study were (1) to determine the relationship between teacher personality competence and the moral abilities of TK B in Desa Biru, (2) to obtain an overview of the relationship between teacher personality competence and the development of moral abilities in group B early childhood in Biru Village. This research was conducted in all kindergarten group B children in Biru Village, Poleang Timur District, Bombana Regency. The sources of data collection in this study were teachers and school principals. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and observation. The results of hypothesis testing show that the value obtained from the probability calculation results is 0.034 which is smaller than the probability test value of 5% (sig = 0.05) or 0.034 <0.05. This means that there is a significant relationship between the teacher's personality competence and children's moral development in Poleang Timur District, Bombana Regency.

The aim of this research is to increase student learning outcomes in Indonesian language material through the application of the Inside Outside Circle (IOC) learning model in third Class MI Al-Fath Kendari. The subjects of this research were teachers and students of class III MI Al-Fath Kendari who were registered in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 20 students. Implementation of the action follows the following classroom action research procedures; 1) planning; 2) implementation of actions and observations; 3) evaluation; 4) reflection. This research was carried out in two cycles. This type of research is classroom action research. The data in this research are qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data was taken using observation sheets, while quantitative data was obtained through cycle tests. The results show that the IOC learning model increases learning outcomes in Indonesian language material by 69.25 in cycle I to 78.25 in cycle II. This is because this model involves children in learning to work together which aims to train students to learn independently and learn to speak, convey information to others.

The aim of this research is to determine the value of children's honest character through role-playing activities in group B PAUD Nusa Indah. This research was conducted on all children in group B PAUD Nusa Indah. This type of research is This research is in accordance with descriptive qualitative methods. The data collected is in the form of words, images, and not numbers. This is caused by the application of qualitative methods. Based on the results of research and discussions conducted by researchers regarding instilling the value of honest character in children through role-playing activities, this activity has proven to be effective in changing children's behavior and thoughts regarding honesty. Instilling the value of honest character in children can have a positive impact on the child himself, and the people around him, including friends, teachers and parents at home. Through this role playing activity, children are taught to act as honest people, what the impact would be if they were not honest in everyday life.

This research aims to evaluate the use of media used by teachers to stimulate the ability to recognize numbers in children which has been carried out well and in accordance with its function. The focus of this research is the results of the evaluation of the use of number tube media to stimulate the ability to recognize numbers and whether there are obstacles in using number tube media to stimulate the ability to recognize numbers. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation, inductive data analysis techniques. The research results show three main criteria in evaluating learning media, namely: quality of content and objectives, instructional quality, technical quality. All of them showed good results. The obstacles are limited time and children who tend to scramble to use the media

The purpose of this research is to find out the types and factors that cause student errors in solving math word problems for class V SD based on Newman error analysis. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study used tests, interviews and documentation where the instrument used was a 4-item essay test, while the interviews were conducted by the class teacher to find out the factors that caused students' mistakes in solving math word problems. VB class students at SDN 4 Ranomeeto, totaling 25 people, were the subjects of this study. The results of this study indicate that students' ability to solve math word problems is still very low. Based on the NEA, the most student errors lie in comprehension errors (comprehension errors) 74 errors out of 25 students with 4 items followed by transformation errors with 7 errors then process skill errors with 2 errors and finally errors writing the final answer (encoding error) with 7 errors. It can be concluded that in solving math word problems based on the Newman error analysis error, most students made mistakes in understanding the problem.
