Abstract

The traditional Polopalo musical instrument is one of the cultural heritages of the Gorontalo people that serves more than just a medium of entertainment. This study aims to analyze the role of the Polopalo musical instrument in the social life and traditions of the Gorontalo people. The methods used are literature study and cultural observation to see how Polopalo is used in various social contexts, such as traditional ceremonies, art performances, and interactions between community members. The results of the analysis show that Polopalo plays a role as a medium of cultural expression, strengthening local identity, and strengthening social relations through shared activities such as playing folk music. In addition, Polopalo has historical and symbolic value that reflects the harmonious and communal character of the Gorontalo people. Thus, the existence of Polopalo is not only part of traditional art, but also an important element in maintaining social values ​​and traditions passed down from generation to generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by students in reading unvowelled Arabic texts (kitab kuning) at the Salafi-based At-Tibyan Islamic boarding school. The research focuses on linguistic, pedagogical, psychological, and environmental factors that contribute to students’ limited literacy in classical Arabic texts. Using a library research method, this study examines scholarly literature, including academic journals, books, and previous research findings. The results indicate that the primary difficulties stem from weak mastery of Arabic grammar (nahwu and sharaf), limited vocabulary, and insufficient systematic reading practice. Pedagogical barriers are linked to traditional teacher-centered methods, while psychological factors such as learning anxiety and low self-confidence exacerbate the issue. Furthermore, the learning environment, which prioritizes spoken Arabic without balancing it with textual literacy training, contributes to a mismatch in students’ language competencies. This research highlights the need for holistic, innovative, and adaptive instructional strategies to improve students’ ability to read classical Arabic texts effectively.

Abstract

Kajian ini menyajikan analisis holistik mengenai strategi penguatan Sila Persatuan Indonesia, sila ketiga Pancasila. Sila ini diposisikan sebagai instrumen fundamental untuk mewujudkan karakter bangsa yang utuh, berdaulat, dan kokoh, yang dimaknai bukan sebagai penyeragaman melainkan harmoni yang menyatukan keberagaman. Analisis difokuskan pada diagnosis tantangan kontemporer yang mengancam persatuan, mencakup tiga domain utama: ancaman digital (polarisasi politik, disinformasi), ancaman ideologis (radikalisme, eksklusivisme), dan ancaman sosial-struktural (kesenjangan, ketidakadilan). Artikel ini menguraikan secara sistematis tiga pilar respons strategis. Pertama, pilar kultural (imunitas sosial) yang difokuskan pada revitalisasi gotong royong, pemanfaatan kearifan lokal sebagai resolusi konflik, dan dialog antarbudaya. Kedua, pilar institusional (perisai sistemik) yang mencakup revitalisasi Pendidikan Pancasila (PPKn) agar relevan secara digital, implementasi kerangka hukum penanganan konflik, dan otonomi daerah untuk keadilan. Ketiga, pilar digital (benteng narasi) yang menekankan literasi digital etis dan ofensif narasi positif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sintesis holistik dari ketiga strategi inilah yang dapat mentransformasi Sila Persatuan menjadi instrumen aktif untuk mewujudkan karakter bangsa yang "utuh" melalui pemulihan dialog, "fundamental" melalui internalisasi nilai, dan "berdaulat" melalui pembentukan wawasan global berjiwa nasionalis.

Abstract

Toleransi antarumat beragama merupakan salah satu nilai fundamental dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara di Indonesia. Sebagai negara yang memiliki keberagaman agama, suku, dan budaya, Indonesia memerlukan dasar yang kuat untuk menjaga keharmonisan sosial. Pancasila sebagai dasar negara menjadi pedoman utama dalam membangun sikap toleransi tersebut. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam sila-sila Pancasila, khususnya sila pertama “Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa” dan sila ketiga “Persatuan Indonesia”, menegaskan pentingnya penghormatan terhadap perbedaan keyakinan serta penguatan persatuan dalam keberagaman. Melalui penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila, masyarakat diharapkan mampu mengembangkan sikap saling menghormati, menghargai, dan bekerja sama tanpa memandang latar belakang agama. Dengan demikian, Pancasila berperan sebagai landasan moral dan etika dalam memperkokoh toleransi antarumat beragama demi terciptanya kehidupan bangsa yang rukun, damai, dan berkeadilan.

Abstract

This study discusses the phenomenon of make-up use among adolescents, particularly female students at SMAN 15 Pekanbaru, which has become part of their lifestyle and a form of self-expression. The purpose of this research is to analyze the social and psychological factors influencing make-up use and its impact on students’ self-confidence and social adjustment. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach through literature analysis and assessment of a student who regularly uses make-up. The results show that this behavior is influenced by family, peers, and social media, where make-up serves to enhance self-confidence but may also lead to dependency on social validation. Through individual counseling and psychoeducation, students are guided to build healthy self-confidence based on their personal potential rather than physical appearance. This study highlights the important roles of guidance and counseling teachers, parents, and schools in supporting students to channel their interest in make-up in a positive and balanced way.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas penerapan layanan penyusunan laporan keuangan dan pembukuan yang disediakan oleh Kantor Jasa Akuntan (KJA) sebagai bentuk kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelaporan keuangan, khususnya bagi entitas berskala kecil dan menengah. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses penyusunan laporan keuangan dan layanan pembukuan dijalankan secara profesional oleh KJA, serta mengevaluasi sejauh mana peran KJA dalam membantu klien memenuhi kewajiban pelaporan yang sesuai dengan standar akuntansi yang berlaku. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasi langsung pada salah satu KJA. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa proses penyusunan laporan keuangan dan pembukuan dilakukan secara sistematis, mulai dari pencatatan transaksi, pengelompokan akun, hingga penyusunan laporan akhir yang digunakan untuk keperluan pengambilan keputusan dan pelaporan pajak. Keberadaan KJA terbukti memberikan dukungan yang signifikan bagi klien yang belum memiliki sistem akuntansi internal. Oleh karena itu, profesionalisme serta keterlibatan aktif KJA menjadi aspek penting dalam mendorong akuntabilitas dan transparansi laporan keuangan.

Abstract

Poorly managed raw material inventory can lead to cost inefficiencies, stock accumulation, and disruptions in production flow. PT Adi Satria Abadi, a glove manufacturing company, has experienced excessive leather raw material inventory due to a procurement system that has not yet been optimally implemented. This study aims to analyze the application of the Just-In-Time (JIT) method in improving the efficiency of leather raw material supply and reducing inventory costs. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a case study approach, using data on raw material purchases, material usage, inventory costs, and ordering frequency. The analysis compares conditions before and after the implementation of the JIT method, including optimal order quantity, total inventory cost, and storage efficiency. The results show that the implementation of the JIT method reduced inventory costs by 59.2%, decreased idle stock by 37%, and improved the smoothness of raw material supply by 36.36%. Therefore, the JIT method can serve as an effective solution for companies in managing leather raw material inventory efficiently and sustainably.

Abstract

Socrates merupakan salah satu tokoh paling berpengaruh dalam sejarah filsafat Barat karena berhasil mengalihkan fokus filsafat dari spekulasi kosmologis menuju kajian mendalam mengenai manusia, moralitas, dan proses memperoleh pengetahuan. Melalui metode elenchus atau tanya-jawab, ia menegaskan bahwa kebenaran harus dicari melalui dialog kritis, rasionalitas, dan kesadaran diri. Keterkaitan antara pemikiran Socrates dan filsafat modern tampak jelas dalam orientasi yang sama terhadap akal dan sikap kritis terhadap keyakinan yang tidak teruji, sebagaimana terlihat dalam rasionalisme René Descartes. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan hubungan sistematis antara pemikiran Socrates dan fondasi filsafat modern, khususnya dalam konteks keraguan metodis Descartes dan perkembangan epistemologi modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber primer dan sekunder terkait pemikiran Socrates dan filsafat modern. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keduanya dihubungkan oleh keyakinan bahwa akal merupakan instrumen utama dalam menemukan kebenaran. Relevansi pemikiran Socrates tetap kuat dalam kehidupan kontemporer, terutama dalam menghadapi banjir informasi, polarisasi sosial, dan kecenderungan menerima pendapat tanpa verifikasi. Warisan intelektual Socrates menegaskan bahwa kemajuan pengetahuan dan kehidupan moral yang bijaksana bergantung pada rasionalitas, dialog kritis, serta kejujuran intelektual.

Abstract

This study examines the coordination of school operator teams in addressing cyberbullying occurring on the WhatsApp platform through the implementation of information technology (IT) management at SMA Negeri Klakah, Lumajang. The rapid development of digital communication has facilitated school administration and strengthened internal collaboration, yet also increased the risk of harmful online behaviors among students. This research aims to analyze how IT management supports the coordination process among operators, teachers, guidance counselors, and school leadership in preventing and responding to cyberbullying cases. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving key informants such as the principal, student affairs personnel, school operators, and student representatives from OSIS and MPK. The findings reveal that coordination is carried out systematically through communication pathways that integrate digital supervision, reporting procedures, and preventive education. The IT management system supported by digital data platforms, internal communication channels, and school standard operating procedures plays a significant role in enhancing monitoring and ensuring responsible digital behavior among students. The study also highlights the importance of religious and ethical values, particularly responsibility, honesty, and cooperation, in shaping a safe and respectful digital culture. Overall, the research concludes that effective IT management strengthens the coordination of school operator teams and contributes to creating a secure, ethical, and well-managed digital environment within the school community.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed how organizations communicate with their publics, requiring Public Relations (PR) to be more strategic and adaptive. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review to analyze the role of PR in modern business communication. The findings show that PR plays a key role in building corporate image and reputation, managing digital information, utilizing social media for two-way interaction, and responding quickly to issues and crises. PR also contributes to strengthening branding and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The digital era demands that PR practitioners possess data analysis skills, content creativity, and an understanding of communication technology. Overall, PR becomes an essential element in maintaining credibility and ensuring business sustainability within a rapidly changing communication environment.
