Abstract

This literature review examines the challenges and opportunities faced by Islamic education in the context of globalization and modernization. The integration of Islamic values with modern educational systems is a pressing concern, as globalization and modernization pose significant challenges to traditional Islamic educational frameworks. The review synthesizes existing research on how Islamic education can adapt to these changes while maintaining its core principles. It explores the tensions between preserving cultural and religious identity and embracing modern pedagogies and technologies. The study also discusses potential strategies for enhancing Islamic education's relevance and effectiveness in a rapidly changing world. By analyzing the current state of research, this review aims to inform educators, policymakers, and scholars about best practices for navigating the complexities of globalization and modernization in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of religious organizations in encouraging intercultural dialogue and tolerance in Muslim and non-Muslim communities. This study uses a qualitative research method with a narrative approach. The type of data collection is carried out in a literature manner by reading books, journals, and other sources that are believed to be true. The data that has been collected is analyzed and interpreted to arrive at the research objectives. The results of the study show that religious organizations function as a bridge of communication between Muslim and non-Muslim communities, by organizing activities such as seminars, workshops, and interfaith meetings. This activity not only enhances intercultural understanding but also strengthens social relationships among community members from different backgrounds. In addition, the study found that challenges faced by religious organizations in facilitating intercultural dialogue include stereotypes, prejudices, and a lack of support from certain parties. However, with an inclusive and collaborative approach, religious organizations can play an important role in creating a harmonious and tolerant environment. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of the active role of religious organizations in promoting intercultural dialogue and tolerance, as well as the need for support from the wider community to achieve these goals. These findings are expected to provide insights for the development of more effective intercultural dialogue strategies in a multicultural society.

Abstract

Character education is the main foundation in the formation of human resources with integrity amidst the challenges of globalization and the moral crisis of the younger generation. This article examines how the integration of religious values ​​in cultural education can be an effective strategy to strengthen the character of the younger generation of Indonesia. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach based on literature studies from 10 relevant national and international scientific articles. The findings show that the integration of religious values ​​and local culture can create a deep educational ecosystem, not only in the cognitive aspect, but also touching the affective and spiritual realms of students. In a formal environment, these values ​​are integrated through the curriculum, school culture, and contextual learning methods based on local wisdom. Meanwhile, in a non-formal environment, teaching practices based on religious communities, Islamic boarding schools, and madrasas play an important role in the formation of students' social and spiritual character. This article also highlights the importance of role models and environmental consistency in making religious and cultural values ​​an integral part of students' lives. The results of this study recommend a character education model that is integrated with the nation's cultural and religious identity as a holistic approach in responding to the moral challenges of the younger generation, while supporting the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.

Abstract

Language errors are inherent occurrences in every use of language, both orally and in writing. Good writing skills are important because they play a key role in enhancing students' academic quality and serve as a reflection of the educational institution. This study aims to analyze and identify language errors in the thesis proposal writing of students from the Faculty of Tarbiyah at the State Islamic University Datokarama Palu. The focus of the research is on the use of the fifth edition of the Enhanced Spelling System (EYD) as the main guideline, given the importance of applying correct language rules in academic works. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method to explore various types of common language errors, such as errors in punctuation usage, letter writing, word spelling, word choice, and sentence structure. The data sources for this research include sample thesis proposals from students, which are analyzed in-depth based on the fifth edition of the EYD guideline. The findings show that language errors are still prevalent, particularly in the use of punctuation, letter writing, consistency in word spelling, and sentence structure, which can affect the clarity and validity of academic arguments. Based on these findings, it is expected that this research can serve as a reference for supervisors and students to improve language quality in academic writing. Additionally, this study contributes to enriching the literature related to grammar and the application of the fifth edition of the EYD in the academic environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Negeri 8, SMA Negeri 10, dan SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPPO (Context, Input, Process, Product, dan Outcome). Kurikulum Merdeka dirancang untuk memberikan fleksibilitas dalam proses pembelajaran di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada pengembangan karakter dan kompetensi siswa. Meskipun demikian, implementasi kurikulum ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk keterbatasan infrastruktur dan perbedaan pemahaman di kalangan tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi multisitus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, serta observasi langsung di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran dan mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Namun, terdapat kendala terkait fasilitas yang terbatas dan pemahaman yang bervariasi di kalangan pendidik. Evaluasi terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek (P5) juga mengungkapkan tantangan dalam hal waktu dan ketersediaan sumber daya.

Abstract

Program literasi Al-Qur'an di Pondok Pesantren Al-Arsyadi Samboja bertujuan untuk meningkatkan karakter dan kompetensi religius santri. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana literasi Al-Qur'an dapat membentuk karakter disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran religius di kalangan santri. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap santri, guru, dan pengurus pondok. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi Al-Qur'an berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter, namun terdapat tantangan berupa keterbatasan sumber daya dan variasi pemahaman di kalangan pengajar. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi peran penting dari kegiatan pengajaran tafsir, tilawah, dan tahfidz dalam integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

The development of tourism villages in Malang Regency has great potential in supporting the economy of local communities and preserving cultural and environmental wealth. Malang District, with its diversity of tourist villages rich in unique local wisdom and natural distinctiveness, requires an approach that integrates local wisdom and legal certainty to achieve sustainable tourism. Local wisdom includes cultural values, traditions, and social practices that have long been passed down and become a strong identity of each village, making it an important asset in attracting tourists through authentic experiences that are different from other destinations. This research analyzes how the integration of local wisdom and the support of legal certainty can create a safe, comfortable, and friendly tourism environment for visitors and local communities. Legal certainty through clear and structured regulations such as Law No. 10/2009 on Tourism and Regional Regulation of East Java Province No. 4 of 2022, is needed to provide protection of community rights and avoid conflicts in tourism management. The results of this study are expected to serve as a model for the development of tourism villages that not only focus on economic improvement, but also pay attention to cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and local community empowerment. This integration creates a solid foundation for tourism villages in Malang Regency to develop sustainably and competitively in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ownership structure (institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and foreign ownership), firm fundamentals (profitability, leverage, dividend policy, and firm size), and market variables (book-to-market ratio, trading volume, and stock volatility) on the stock returns of Sharia-compliant firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020 pandemic crisis. The study utilizes a sample of 322 Sharia-compliant firms in 2020 and employs multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that managerial ownership and institutional ownership do not have a significant effect on stock returns, while foreign ownership has a negative effect. Regarding firm fundamentals, Return on Assets (ROA) and market capitalization have a positive effect on stock returns, whereas leverage and dividend policy do not show significant influence. Among market variables, the book-to-market ratio has a positive effect on stock returns, while trading volume and stock volatility are found to be insignificant. These findings suggest that during a crisis period, firm fundamentals and stock valuation remain the primary determinants influencing investment decisions in the Sharia stock market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh User Generated Content dan Electronic Word of Mouth terhadap Purchase Intention produk Daviena Skincare di TikTok dalam perspektif bisnis Islam pada Generasi Z di Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang melibatkan 100 responden. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa User Generated Content berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Purchase Intention, dengan p-value 0,015. Electronic Word of Mouth juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Purchase Intention, dengan p-value 0,000. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin baik kualitas konten yang dihasilkan pengguna dan semakin kredibel ulasan yang disebarkan melalui media sosial, semakin besar niat konsumen untuk membeli produk. Dalam perspektif bisnis Islam, kedua variabel ini saling berhubungan dan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran konsumen untuk mempertimbangkan kejujuran serta tanggung jawab sosial dalam pembelian produk.

Abstract

Pasal 1 angka 4 UU Nomor 2 Tahun 2008 tentang Partai Politik menyebutkan bahwa Pendidikan Politik adalah proses pembelajaran dan pemahaman tentang hak, kewajiban dan tanggungjawab setiap warga negara dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Dikatakan pula, pendidikan politik merupakan sarana untuk menyampaikan berbagai informasi yang diperlukan oleh masyarakat, terutama masalah hak-hak politiknya. Kemudian Pasal 11 ayat (1) huruf a menyatakan bahwa Partai Politik berfungsi sebagai wahana melaksanakan pendidikan politik bagi anggota partai dan masyarakat luas agar menjadi warga negara Indonesia yang sadar akan hak dan kewajibannya, termasuk hak dan kewajiban dalam penyelenggaraan Pemilihan Umum, karenanya sangat urgen untuk diajarkan kepada para calon pemilih pemula. Tujuannya agar para pemilih pemula dapat menempatkan dirinya untuk berpartisipasi secara bijak dan bertanggungjawab dalam kontestasi pemilihan umum. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis normatif, yang berarti mengedepankan ketentuan perundang-undanganan sebagai sumber bahan hukum primer. Hasil pembahasannya bahwa pendidikan politik sangat tepat diajarkan kepada pemilih pemula dalam rangka menumbuhkan kesadaran terhadap hak dan kewajibannya di bidang politik serta memperluas wawasan berpikirnya sehingga mampu berperan aktif pada setiap proses pemilihan umum dengan menentukan pilihan organ politik atau tokoh yang sesuai dengan aspirasinya untuk turut membangun bangsa dan negara melalui pelaksanaan hak pilihnya. Bahwasanya memberikan pendidikan politik kepada pemilih pemula secara implisit menjadi ruang untuk memberikan kesempatan berpartisipasi dalam penentuan kebijakan yang hendak diperjuangkan melalui partai politik.
