Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of digital-based marketing strategies in enhancing promotional effectiveness at AN-NAHAR Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) in Pangandaran. The background of this study stems from the need for educational institutions to adapt to developments in communication technology, as well as to improve the positive image of the school in attracting new students. Conventional promotional strategies are considered less relevant in the digital era, thus social media-based approaches and digital platforms become a more effective alternative. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature study. The subjects of the research consist of the school principal, the social media team, teachers, students, parents, and the surrounding community. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with validation using source and technique triangulation. The research results indicate that digital marketing strategies through Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and WhatsApp have successfully increased the visibility of the school, built a positive image, and encouraged an increase in the number of students. The main supporting factors include content adaptation to social media trends, active interaction with parents through digital channels, and collaboration with the local community. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include the school's website not being optimal, limited human resources, and competition among educational institutions. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that digital marketing is not just a promotional tool, but a communication strategy that builds emotional connections and public trust. SDIT AN-NAHAR Pangandaran has demonstrated that this approach can be effectively applied in the context of integrated Islamic education, while upholding the values of ethics, transparency, and social benefit

Abstract

The advancement of information technology encourages madrasas to adopt digital systems in the management of academic data, one of which is the Digital Report Card of Madrasah (RDM) that is expected to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of learning evaluation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the management of the Digital Report Card of Madrasah (RDM) at MAN 1 Pangandaran, including policies, implementation practices, successes, challenges, and its impact on learning evaluation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation with the head of the madrasa, teachers, operators, and class guardians. The results of the study indicate that the use of RDM is technically in accordance with the guidelines and facilitates the assessment process, but has not fully achieved its main objectives due to user adaptation challenges, infrastructure limitations, and human resource readiness. It can be concluded that RDM brings positive innovation to the learning evaluation system, but its effectiveness depends on resource readiness and infrastructure support. Continuous improvement and intensive training are needed so that the potential of RDM in enhancing the quality of education in madrasas can be maximized.

Abstract

The implementation of academic information systems in higher education institutions often encounters challenges related to management effectiveness, human resource readiness, system integration, and service quality. Similar conditions were identified in the implementation of the Al-Farabi Academic Information System (Si-Aa) at STITNU Al-Farabi Pangandaran, where efforts to improve academic and financial services still require optimization. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the managerial functions of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling in the management of Si-Aa, as well as their contribution to improving the quality of academic and financial services. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The analysis focused on the implementation of the four core management functions in Si-Aa management and utilized the SERVQUAL model to assess the quality of academic and financial services provided to students and other academic stakeholders. The findings indicate that the implementation of Si-Aa management has generally contributed positively to improving service quality by enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability. However, several challenges remain, including limited technical training for system operators and suboptimal data integration across institutional units. The successful implementation of Si-Aa is supported by leadership commitment, adequate technological infrastructure, and effective communication among organizational units. The originality of this study lies in its integration of managerial functions with Islamic values and the local institutional context, offering a contextual model for managing academic information systems in Islamic higher education institutions. Since this study is limited to a single institution, the findings cannot be generalized to other higher education settings. Future studies are recommended to employ quantitative methods or comparative approaches involving multiple institutions to strengthen the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has necessitated a digital transformation in Islamic Education (PAI). This study explores the development and implementation of a website-based PAI laboratory at SMA Al-Islam Bandung, an institution that utilizes virtual platforms to overcome the absence of physical laboratory facilities. Adopting a descriptive qualitative approach through field research, data were primarily collected via in-depth interviews with key informants, including specialized PAI educators. The findings indicate that the website-based laboratory serves as an effective virtual hub for disseminating instructional materials, broadcasting worship simulations, and managing digital assessments. The implementation has significantly improved student engagement and instructional flexibility; however, it faces technical hurdles such as bandwidth limitations and varying levels of device accessibility among students. The study concludes that while the virtual lab acts as a catalyst for modernizing PAI pedagogy, its success is highly contingent upon infrastructure stability and teacher digital literacy. This research provides a framework for integrating Islamic values with technological innovation to foster a more comprehensive and adaptive religious learning environment

Abstract

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a program designed to enhance teachers’ competencies and professionalism on an ongoing basis. This study aims to analyze the implementation of CPD for subject teachers at MTs Negeri 9 Bantul, identify its impact on teacher professionalism, and examine the challenges and development strategies associated with the program. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal of MTs Negeri 9 Bantul and document analysis. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that CPD is implemented through Subject Teacher Consultation Forums (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran / MGMP), In-House Training (IHT), workshops, and online training provided through the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ PINTAR platform. Based on interview and documentation data, these activities encourage teachers to engage more actively in professional collaboration, utilize digital learning media such as Quizizz, Wordwall, and Canva for Education, and implement innovative learning models such as Project-Based Learning and blended learning. The findings also indicate that CPD contributes to the improvement of teachers’ pedagogical and digital competencies, which in turn enhances students’ participation and learning motivation. Program evaluation is conducted through regular coordination meetings and digital monitoring via the Si Panjat Padi system. However, several challenges remain, including limited time, insufficient funding, and low teacher participation in scientific publication activities. To address these challenges, the madrasah develops CPD programs based on the results of academic supervision and National Assessment (ANBK) data. This study demonstrates that CPD plays an important role in supporting teacher professionalism and improving the quality of learning in madrasahs.
