Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using picture card media for mufradat learning at MI Al-Istiqomah Banjit Way Kanan after the development and validation process of the product. Researchers are interested in developing this media because mufradat learning at MI is still using conventional media, so there is a need for media that can assist in mufradat learning at MI Al-Istiqomah Banjit Way Kanan. This study uses the type of research and development (Research and Development) or R&D, namely the research method used to produce a particular product and test the feasibility of the product. Using the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry, it is arranged programmatically with systematic sequences of activities in an effort to solve learning problems related to learning resources, needs and learning characteristics. This model consists of five steps, namely: Analysis (analyze), Design (design), Development (development), Implementation (implementation) and Evaluation (evaluation). However, in this study, the researchers only discussed the effectiveness of using picture card media after the expert validation process and product testing. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive data analysis technique, namely by describing the effectiveness of using picture card media in mufradat learning. Based on the results of data analysis, after going through the process of product validation and testing and responses from student questionnaires, 80% were in the very effective category. So it can be concluded that the media is feasible, effective and can be used as a supporting medium for learning Arabic, especially mufradat.

Abstract

the research objectives in this research, they are as follows: 1) description students' difficulties as grammar in the Islamic University Hidayatut Thullab Kediri. 2) description the factors of students' difficulties as grammar The Islamic University Hidayatut Thullab Kediri. The types of research, it is used by qualitative research, it is field research that uses the phenomenological and descriptive exploratory approach. Qualitative methods from research that produce data in the form of written or spoken words from people and behaviors that enable them to be observed. The research result is 1) Students' difficulties in studying grammar at The Islamic University Hidayatut Thullab Kediri, they are: students ’difficulty with grammar concepts, students’ difficulty in synthesizing grammar, students ’difficulty in training useful sentence synthesis. 2) Factors of students' difficulties in studying grammar at The Islamic University Hidayatut Thullab Kediri, it is divided into two parts: a) The internal factor is the factor of students themselves who still lack the motivation for continuous learning of grammar and the students ’desire to study grammar. b) The external factor affects the curriculum, the book, and the teacher.

Abstract

The research conducted by this researcher aims to find out 1) The use of the audiolingual method in maharah istima' at MTs. KH. Hasyim Asy'ari Malang 2) The steps of using the audiolingual method 3) The technique of using the audiolingual method 4) The advantages and disadvantages of the audiolingual method. The method used in this research is qualitative with research instruments in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. As a result, 1) the use of the audiolingual method for listening skill aims so that students are able to understand speaker's speech correctly and well without feeling difficult 2) The steps for using the Audiolingual Method include presenting dialogue texts, students memorizing dialogues, presenting sentence patterns in dialogue, dramatize the dialogue, and the teacher asks students to compose sentences according to the sentence patterns in the dialogue 3) The technique used in the use of this method is listening to dialogue, memorizing dialogue, dictation, and connecting words 4) The advantage of this method is that students become proficient in forming patterns. sentences, have good and correct pronunciation, be active in dialogue, gain direct language experience while the drawback is that students tend to copy or imitate because they pay less attention to when learning takes place

Abstract

The selection of online learning models, especially for students, shows that the application of learning speaking skills is said to be unable to function perfectly without the formation of an active component and a linguistic environment. In addition, most of the Arabic language activists also have difficulty developing speaking skills due to space and time constraints. But in essence, language environments can be created not only through direct learning interactions, but also through distance learning programs. Therefore, one of the alternative learning methods that they can take to further develop their speaking skills is to take several online Arabic courses through informal learning institutions at the Takallam Institute of Arabic Language Course, Pare Kediri, East Java. The researcher used this research with descriptive and qualitative research types. This research was conducted at the Takallam Institute of Arabic Language Course in Pare Kediri, East Java. The subject of this research is a tutor or online class teacher at the Takallam Institute of Arabic Language Course at Pare Kediri, East Java. Meanwhile, the informants in this study were the director of the Takallam Institute of Arabic Language Course Institute Pare Kediri, East Java and participants of online class learning. The data collection methods that researchers use to obtain the data needed in writing this research, namely the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data through source triangulation, technical triangulation, and temporal triangulation. While the data analysis technique was carried out in different stages, namely analysis before going into the field, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the online learning model of speaking skills at the Takallam Institute of Arabic Language Course in Pare Kediri, East Java, can run smoothly and inject the purpose of teaching speaking skills, meaning that participants can understand and practice speaking Arabic fluently. Learning speaking skills is carried out with the online maharah kalam learning model at the Takallam Institute Arabic Language Course Institute, Pare Kediri, East Java and is a type of direct learning model by applying the special "Takallam" method to improve speaking skills or mukalamah bil lughotil arabiyyah.

Abstract

The comparative study conducted in this research is to see the differences and similarities between Arabic and Indonesian collocations and to see how the collocation process is translated. The comparative study was conducted using a comparative descriptive methodological approach. This research is a type of library research, which describes research conducted solely based on facts or phenomena contained in the data. The data processing process is carried out using three steps of contrastive analysis, the first is a description, the second is an overview and the third is a comparison as well as describes the collocation process in translation. Through these several stages, lexical and grammatical collocation data can be obtained both in Arabic and Indonesian as follows: words that are side by side or side by side between prepositions and verbs where the prepositions used are the prepositions (fî), ??(ilâ)??? (alâ), (an), ?(li) and (bi), resulting in the form or category of verb + preposition. Meanwhile, lexical collocations in Arabic use noun + noun, adjective + noun, verb + noun, preposition + noun and Indonesian lexical and grammatical collocations take the form of subject + predicate, noun + adjective, noun + noun, noun + adjective, noun + noun, verb + noun, adjective + noun. Furthermore, in the translation process, the lexical and grammatical collocation forms from the two languages cannot be translated literally or word for word (as is) but must be translated according to the context of the sentence and the culture used in the language.

Abstract

Language is considered very important by people and even by the world because it is considered a necessity as well as dependence in capturing the understanding of what the interlocutor is saying. In Indonesia, there are three languages ??that are very popular and often used in life, especially in the world of education. The first language is Indonesian as communication, and two foreign languages, namely English and Arabic as the language to be studied for the future. Therefore, it takes an Arabic language learning in the first step to get to know and apply Arabic in everyday life, both in terms of profession or just for personal needs. This research is descriptive, qualitative, which means a research conducted to get an overview or description of the Arabic language, regarding learning Arabic through the Kitab al-Arobiyah Bayna Yadaika by a number of IAIN Pekalongan students who reside in the An-Nur Dormitory, Pekalongan Regency. This learning is considered to have been able to build the enthusiasm and activeness of students. This is evidenced by the preparation of students when they will follow the course of learning.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Bangkalan masih sangat rendah, masih menitik beratkan pada keterampilan membaca dan kurang memperhatikan pada keterampilan lainnya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui model strategi pengajaran bahasa Arab dengan pendekatan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bagi siswa kelas VII MTsN Bangkalan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan tiga yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, dengan populasi sampel terdiri dari 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas VII MTsN Bangkalan. Dengan menggunakan strategi pengajaran pendekatan kontekstual siswa bisa membaca dan memahami tulisan dengan gaya pendidikan yang menyenangkan, tidak monoton dan terfokus pada buku teks.

Abstract

Translation means the transfer of one language to another. In the translation process, of course, you will be faced with linguistic problems and non-linguistic problems. Linguistic problems that often occur such as mastery of vocabulary and mastery of the structure of the source language are low so that in the process of translating words and sentences they experience many obstacles. Meanwhile, non-linguistic factors related to social and cultural aspects such as equivalence in translation. This study aims to reveal meaning deviations in the selection of diction or inappropriate words and sentences that occur due to language interference that occurs in the translator, where the translation results seem stiff and difficult to understand. In addition to choosing the right diction, the translator's sense of language (dzauq) should not be ignored. Because the sense of language arises from the social and cultural side that is automatically attached to a language. This research is a type of library research, which describes a research conducted solely based on facts or phenomena contained in the data. The data is taken from the thesis proposal of BSA FUAD IAIn Metro students. In this study using three stages in the data processing process, namely data collection techniques using listening and note-taking techniques, data analysis techniques using a language approach, and the last technique is the presentation of the results of data analysis carried out by parsing each data. Through these several stages, it can be found that these problems occur due to bilingualism and lack of mastery of the sense of language (dzauqul lughoh).

Abstract

Learning Arabic for PBA students is not only sufficient to be conducted in the classroom, but there must be a special environment outside the classroom that supports the provision of language materials in the classroom.  Therefore, PBA STAI Syaichona Moh.  Cholil Bangkalan tries to create an Arabic environment from year to year.  However, this effort cannot be separated from the various problems, so the purpose of this research is not only to describe the process of formation of the Arabic language environment, but also to analyze the problems of creating an Arabic environment in PBA STAI Syaichona Moh.  Cholil Bangkalan.  This research is a qualitative research to explore existing problems directly and not only through the existing literature.  The results of this study are the creation of an Arabic speaking environment in PBA STAI Syaichona Moh.  Cholil Bangkalan is formed in a formal and informal manner.  While the problems in creating an Arabic speaking environment include an open campus environment, neighboring Islamic boarding schools and other non-Arabic speaking study programs, mother tongue interference, lack of motivation, lack of regulations for language offenders, no private dormitory for PBA students, lack of supervision from leadership, and absence of supporting funds.

Abstract

Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab di Sekolah Tinggi Agma Islam Syaichona Cholil Bangkalan berupaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas penguasaan bahasa arab yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa. Namun demikian, tidak semua mahasiswa STAIS bersedia dan semangat untuk meningkatkan penguasaan bahasa Arab. Sehingga membutuhkan strategi agar mahasiswa memiliki kesadaran untuk memiliki kemauan membuka diri untuk meningkatkan penguasaan bahasa Arab, sebagai mahasiswa prodi Bahasa Arab yang memang semestinya memiliki kualifikasi Bahasa Arab yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kinerja dan kebutuhan guna mengetahui masalah yang dihadapi Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab di STAIS dalam meningkatkan kualitas penguasaan bahasa arab dan menentukan kebutuhan-kebutuhan mahasiswa agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas penguasaan bahasa arab yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ini merupakan jenis kajian pengembangan model ADDIE tahap analysis, ada dua: pertama adalah analisis kinerja (performance analysis), dan kedua adalah analisis kebutuhan (need analysis). Pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis kajian studi kasus. Teknik penentuan informan pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian ini diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif, dan uji keabsahhannya menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil analisis kinerja menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa problem dalam peningkatan penguasaan kualitas bahasa Arab, antara lain: motivasi yang kurang, belum terbuka terhadap informasi atau teknologi baru, dan kuranya strategi yang inovatif. Sedangkan dari analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa membutuhkan tiga aspek, meliputi: 1) aspek motif, motif dalam mempelajari dan meningkatkan motivasi dalam meningkatkan pengusaan bahasa Arab. 2) aspek kompetensi/kemampuan, ada empat yaitu: pertama adalah maharah al istima’ (ketrampilan mendengar), kedua adalah maharah al kalam (ketrampilan berbicara), keterampilan membaca) merupakan keterampilan membaca. Dan keempat adalah maharah al kitabah (ketrampilan menulis). 2) Aspek strategi, dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kualitas pengguanasaan bahasa Arab penting menggunakan stertegi yang efektif, salah satunya adalah model social learning, sebagai upaya pada peningkatan kualitas penguasaan bahasa arab mahasiswa melalui program-program.
