Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the efficiency of applying the storytelling approach in teaching Arabic to optimize the vocabulary of class VII students at MTs Plus Al-Maáli Bojonegoro. With a quantitative approach, the experimental design type is one group pretest-posttest and uses observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests as instruments. Analysis of pretest and posttest results by comparing the average scores. There was significant progress in student learning outcomes, with an initial pretest average score of 69.45 increasing to 83.63 in the posttest. The positive relationship between learning methods and students at MTs Plus Al-Maáli Bojonegoro is also proven through the questionnaire to determine the most appropriate method. The results of the t-test show that the value of Asymp Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000000003 < 0.05, which indicates that the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, after applying this learning method, there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of class VII students at MTs Plus Al-Maáli Bojonegoro. It can be concluded that implementing the storytelling method in teaching Arabic succeeded in increasing the learning achievement of class VII students at MTs Plus Al-Maáli Bojonegoro in Arabic subject.

Abstract

The writing of this article departs from the problem of some students who have errors in applying the nahwu-shorof rule in writing perfect sentences in Arabic articles that have compatibility between nahwu-shorof or the selection of appropriate sentences. This qualitative description research analyzes errors in the application of Arabic rules in PBA UNWAHA student articles. Through observations of 5 random Arabic articles of PBA UNWAHA students from across years, researchers can approach error analysis by identifying errors, classifying errors, describing errors, and analyzing the factors that cause errors based on linguistic phenomena that appear in Arabic articles of PBA UNWAHA students. The results of this study showed that overall, there were 60 errors from the 5 articles. The data showed that of the 5 articles, 36.7% experienced errors in choosing appropriate sentences, 53.3% experienced errors in compatibility between mudzakkar-muannats, and the remaining 10% experienced errors in the aspect of i'rob. The factors causing the error are linguistic and social. To avoid language errors, students must focus more on Arabic rules, be careful in the translation and selection of appropriate sentences, and apply sentence analysis before publishing articles to apply the theory and practice of applying Arabic rules.

Abstract

Motivation has a very strong influence on the cognitive and affective aspects of reading. Motivation affects a person's thinking style. When a person is interested in the text he reads, his understanding will increase more than when reading a text he is not interested in. This study describes the factors influencing the motivation for Arabic Language Education at STAI Syaichona Moh. Cholil Bangkalan will read Arabic texts in the Qira'ah lesson. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation using descriptive qualitative methods. The collected data was analyzed and validated by the triangulation method. The results showed that six factors influence students' motivation to read Arabic text: (1) Reading ability. (2) Individual interest or desire. (3) Reading needs. (4) Social support. (5) Technology and learning resources. and (6) Supportive conditions and facilities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of extracurricular programs in madrasas, how the planning of extracurricular programs is carried out, and the organization, implementation, and evaluation of Arabic language programs in madrasah.  This research uses a qualitative approach of case study type.  The research subject was Madrasah Aliyah AL-Rosyid Bojonegoro, Indonesia, in 2024. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used Milles and Huberman's model through three stages: condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the management is made through stages, namely needs analysis and compiling a work program (PROKER), which is prepared every semester in the form of extracurricular time allocations, activity schedules and materials. Organizing in the form of creating an organizational structure along with their respective roles to support running the madrasah/school extracurricular program. Program implementation involves activities such as intensive training for extracurricular coaches, class visits to observe and provide direct feedback, and effective communication patterns between students and teachers. Extracurricular programs at MA Al Rosyid are divided into diniyah as a continuous extracurricular program and periodic extracurricular programs such as muhadharah training and Arabic MC training. Several evaluations are conducted, and daily evaluations focus on achieving daily learning objectives and providing immediate feedback. Weekly evaluation involves assessing student progress in language skills and adapting teaching methods as needed. Monthly evaluations include a thorough reflection on the effectiveness of the program and an improvement plan. Annual evaluations aim to assess the program's overall impact on students' Arabic language proficiency and the achievement of long-term goals.

Abstract

Teachers, as those in control of the Arabic language learning process, must always pay attention to students' needs and motivation, not reduce their enthusiasm for learning Arabic, so learning models that suit students' characteristics must be presented, such as constructivism-based learning models. This research uses a qualitative approach because the data consists of verbal data, not numerical data, where data collection uses observation and interviews and is analyzed using componential data analysis. The results of this research indicate that the constructivism-based reading skills learning model consists of Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, and Evaluation, which, in its application, influences the effectiveness of the reading skills teaching process at Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Islamic University Pamekasan and to obtain it. The participating students were more interested and put effort into the teaching and learning process, especially in the learning activities from beginning to end. In addition, the goal of education is not limited to understanding texts but rather discovering them in their experiences and knowledge.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning model and supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) learning model in teaching reading skills for class X female students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. This research was conducted at MA Al-Amien 1 Pragaan. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The subjects of this research were taken from teachers and students. Data analysis used the Saldana, Miles, and Huberman models, which consist of condensation data, data presentation, and conclusions. For data validity, researchers used source triangulation. The results of this research are: 1. Implementation of the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) Learning Model in Reading Skills Learning, namely: a. Preparation stage. Create initial conditions for students. Then, ask questions related to the previous lesson. b. The implementation stage includes Forming heterogeneous groups of around 4 people. The teacher gives a discourse or clipping according to the material to be studied, and students work together to read to each other, find the main idea, respond to the discourse or clipping written on a piece of paper, and present/read out the results group. c. Evaluation stage. Female students do exercises related to the qira'ah text in book 2. Supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) Learning Model in Learning Reading Skills: a. class facilities, b. students' abilities.

Abstract

In learning Arabic, students will encounter and experience difficulties using language elements because they use local language patterns in the language being learned. This is called language interference. It leads to the deterioration of the language. The researcher intends to identify the types of interference, the factors affecting interference, and the solutions to avoid it. The method used is a descriptive analysis approach (qualitative). This research used the following tools: interview, observation, and documentation. The most important thing from the study results is that the types of language interference that often occur are phonetic, grammatical, semantic and word repetition. Factors that influence this interference are the environment, inherited habits in language interference and lack of correct vocabulary application. Some solutions to this problem are to increase listening and watching Arabic videos, films and songs, and increase applying and practising correct Arabic speech and according to Arabic grammar rules, and increase memorizing and understanding Arabic vocabulary

Abstract

The SQ3R reading method is an abbreviation for Survey, Question, Read, Recall / Recite, and Review. This method is highly recommended for reading more deeply and logically due to its structured and practical approach. The SQ3R method aims to help students better remember the material they learn. With the SQ3R learning method, students can study texts effectively, enabling them not only to memorize the content but also to understand the meaning and concepts within the reading. This research is motivated by the lack of qiraah (reading comprehension) skills among students. It is based on observations indicating a lack of innovation and effective teaching methods or materials, resulting in students' diminished interest in learning Arabic. Therefore, appropriate learning materials are needed to improve the learning process. The results of this study indicate that efforts to improve students' qiraah skills have been successful. This is evidenced by the implementation of actions in the second cycle, which saw a significant improvement. Out of 37 students, 30 students (81.5%) completed the task successfully, while 7 students (18.5%) did not. This shows an increase of 49% by employing the SQ3R method assisted by picture story media. Based on the research findings and data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the SQ3R method with the assistance of picture story media can enhance students' qiraah skills.

Abstract

Badal Secara bahasa berarti pengganti. Allah SWT berfirman: ”Mungkin Tuhan kita akan memberi kita sesuatu yang lebih baik dari itu”. Secara terminologi, Badal adalah kata pengikut makna dan hukum kalimat atau kata sebelumnya tanpa adanya perantara antara dia dan yang dia ikuti, atau antara penggantinya (badal) dan yang menggantikannya (Mabdul Minhu). Misalnya:  "Ja'a Ahmad Ilmuhu" Adapun tujuan dari Badal itu adalah untuk menguatkan putusan yang terdahulu, menguatkannya dengan mempertegas maksudnya, memperjelasnya, dan menghilangkan kemungkinan pemahaman lain yang meragukan, karena hukum Badal ini terlebih dahulu diatribusikan kepada yang diikuti, sehingga menyebutkan yang diikuti merupakan persiapan bagi pengikut yang akan dating setelahnya, dan mengarahkan jiwa untuk menerimanya dengan rasa rindu dan penuh semangat. Jika kamu menerimanya dan mengenalnya, maka kamu akan menerima hukum bersamanya dan mengenalnya pula. Seolah-olah putusan tersebut disebutkan dua kali, dan hal ini memperkuat dan meneguhkan putusan tersebut. Badal ada empat jenis yaitu: Badal Isytimal, Badal ba’di min kul, Badal kul min kul, badal muthabiq, dan ????? ???????. Adapun ????? ??????? dibagi menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu ??? ?????, ??? ???????, dan ??? ???????. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Juz Tiga Puluh al-Qur’an mengandung berbagai jenis Badal, dan didalamnya terdapat empat puluh tujuh Badal, dan pada ayat-ayat Juz Tiga Puluh terdapat  ??? ???????, ????? ?? ?? ??, ????? ??? ?? ??, dan ??? ????????, dan tidak terdapat ????? ??????? pada Juz Tiga Puluh ini karena Badal ini merupakan ucapan bersifat ambigu yang diungkapkan manusia dari dalam dirinya. Adapun kaidah-kaidah Badal pada Juz Tiga Puluh adalah mengganti kata benda dengan kata benda, mengganti kata kerja dengan kata kerja, dan mengganti kata benda semu dengan kata tanya. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengungkapkan metode pengajaran kaidah tata bahasa (seperti Badal), antara lain metode standar, metode induktif atau deduktif, metode teks terpadu, metode aktivitas, dan metode masalah (Problem Solving).

Abstract

Learning Arabic in the current digital era requires a comprehensive approach, both in terms of learning system design and message design in learning. A well-designed learning system will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process, while the right message design will help students understand the material more easily. This research aims to determine the message design in learning programs or activities and message design for Arabic language learners using qualitative methodology with the type of library research so that the data obtained can be explained clearly and in detail. The research results in learning, especially teacher Arabic learning, tend to focus on using traditional learning system designs, applying learning theories in design, and the influence of new technology on the design preparation process.
