Abstract

Penambangan metode tambang terbuka yang dilakukan secara dinamis beresiko menimbulkan cekungan yang berpotensi menjadi tempat tampungan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode sistem penyaliran dan keadaan sistem penyaliran aktual, menghitung debit air, merancang ulang saluran terbuka dan kolam pengendapan. Proses pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan penggabungan antara teori dengan data primer dan sekunder sehingga didapatkan pendekatan penyelesaian masalah. Berdasarkan analisis dan penelitian, metode penyaliran yang digunakan mine dewatering, terdapat 1 DTH dengan (Q) air hujan 0,0915 mᶾ/detik, (Q) air limpasan 1,3191 mᶾ/detik, (Q) air tambang 1,411 mᶾ/detik. Saluran terbuka dan kolam pengendapan aktual belum bisa mengalirkan dan mengendapkan debit air tambang tersebut, maka dirancang saluran terbuka dengan (α) 60°, (y) 0,82 m, (z) 0,12 m, (h) 0,94 m, (b) 1,42 m, (T) 3,06 m dan (a) 0,87 m. Kolam pengendapan memiliki jumlah kompartemen 1 m, (b) 15 m, (H) 5 m, panjang penyekat 8 m, lebar penyekat 4,5 m, kedalaman penyekat 4,5 m, panjang kompartemen 21 m, panjang total kolam 21 m, luas kolam 312 m² dan volume kolam 1236.8 mᶾ. Volume padatan air 7,055 x 10^(-3) mᶾ/detik, (tv) 12 menit, (Vh) 18,81 x 10^(-3) mᶾ/detik, % pengendapan 61%. Padatan yang berhasil diendapkan 15 mᶾ/hari dengan waktu pengerukan 3 bulan.

Abstract

Blitar Regency, which directly borders the Indian Ocean on the south side, has the potential for a tsunami disaster. Ringinrejo Village, Wates District, which is potentially affected by the tsunami disaster, is on the coast of Jolosutro Beach with a population of 334 people. The large population in coastal areas makes social and economic vulnerability an important factor in disaster management. This research aims to analyze social and economic vulnerability per inhabited building block using the SoVI method, analyzing the distribution of social and economic vulnerability using the GIS method, and the dominant factors influencing social and economic vulnerability using the stepwise regression method. The research results show that: (1) the level of social and economic vulnerability is 36.63% at a medium level of vulnerability with 37 households, 28.71% at a low level of vulnerability or 29 households, 26.73% at a high level of vulnerability with 27 houses households, 3.96% at very low and very high levels of vulnerability with 4 households each. The need for involvement of all parties to reduce the potential for a tsunami disaster in Ringinrejo Village, Wates District, Blitar Regency.

Abstract

Abstract. turbocharger is a vital component in many modern engines, which functions to increase engine performance and efficiency by compressing the air entering the combustion chamber. However, turbochargers often face various technical problems, one of which is damage to the turbo rotation. The purpose of this research is to discuss reducing RPM on ships to align research objectives, find out the problems that occurred during research, research objectives, problem formulation and research questions. This research method uses the qualitative type TSHD Rsa Marine 3 and the officers' efforts to take action when the main engine experiences a decrease in RPM, namely replacing components that affect the decrease in RPM such as replacing turbo components and air filters. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods, observation, interviews and related heritage. with a sudden drop in RPM. then take data such as RPM reduction statistics and pictures of component repairs that have a big influence on the reduction in Main Engine RPM. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the decrease in RPM was caused by damage to the compressor wheel and dirty turbo filter which resulted in abnormal RPM ME No. 2 on the ship.

Abstract

Maintenance is an activity to prevent damage from an early age that will occur by periodically inspecting equipment using sensors and sophisticated tools. Docking is a process of moving ships from seawater to docking with the help of docking facilities. A shipyard is a place that will later be used to carry out the process of building ships/repairing and maintaining ships. The implementation of ship maintenance on dock requires planned maintenance management by the owner of the ship. In terms of the implementation of maintenance work comes into two: planned and unplanned. An overview of the implementation of docking that occurred on MT ships. NGAGEL SO. As a result, the ship ran aground and ignored the recommended maintenance. The importance of care management carried out must be in accordance with the guidebook. There is support from ship owners to support the maintenance system on the ship. Implement a care management system that complies with maintenance rules. Treatment that is done in accordance with regulations, can help increase the life of the equipment to be used and reduce repair costs and time efficiency.

Abstract

This study examines the passage planning process and the application of Risk Assessment Analysis on the MT. Kasim vessel, focusing on the route from Tanjung Gerem to Bengkulu. Through a mixed-method approach, the research identifies and evaluates critical risks in voyage planning. The findings demonstrate that integrating Risk Assessment Analysis into the passage planning process is crucial for enhancing ship safety and operational efficiency. The analysis reveals several key risks, including extreme weather conditions, navigational hazards, and potential technical failures. The study also emphasizes the critical role of the Second Officer in creating the voyage plan, with final oversight and approval from the Captain. In conclusion, the systematic application of Risk Assessment Analysis in passage planning represents a significant best practice in improving maritime safety. Recommendations include regular training, upgrading navigational technology, and developing a comprehensive risk database. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of risk management in the shipping industry and highlights the importance of a proactive approach in ensuring navigational safety.

Abstract

Maintenance of the lifeboats and goddesses needs to be carried out so that they are ready for use by the lifeboats and goddesses at KM. Kendhaga Nusantara 6 when it was going to be used for training experienced traffic jams. Therefore, pilot 3 and engineer 3 carried out checks and maintenance of lifeboats once a week and lifeboat training was carried out once a month. This research aims to determine the implementation of lifeboat maintenance and goddesses, to find out the obstacles encountered in the implementation of maintenance of lifeboats and goddesses, as well as to find out efforts to overcome obstacles in the implementation of maintenance of lifeboats and goddesses. This research is of a quantitative type with a descriptive statistical approach, with the data collection method being interviews , observation, questionnaire. Before the questionnaire instrument was used, a validity and reliability test was carried out and the results were valid and reliable with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.848. The results of this study showed that maintenance was not carried out according to schedule. Lifeboat maintenance was only carried out within 3 months within 1 year. Based on the results Questionnaires from 8 respondents consisting of master, master 1, mate 3, kkm, machinist 3, helmsman, boss, class, obtained the results that the percentage of lifeboat maintenance implementation was 51.6%, which means that the criteria were sufficient and the implementation of the goddess goddess was 50%, which meaning that the criteria are sufficient. From the results of this research it can be concluded that the optimal level of lifeboats and goddesses must be increased in maintenance according to procedures. The obstacle encountered was that during the exercise there was a jam on the lifeboat boats which resulted in the lifeboat not being able to be lowered and damage to the lifeboat engine. Efforts that must be made are to carry out maintenance according to the 1974 SOLAS procedure.

Abstract

The remote-control system on this Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) or unmanned ship uses Long Range (LoRa) technology. LoRa was chosen because of its ability to transmit data over long distances with low power consumption, making it very suitable for applications in the maritime environment. The control system on the USV is responsible for controlling movement, so it involves several technologies and components that work together to ensure the USV can operate efficiently. The way a USV works involves several systems working together to allow the autonomous vehicle to operate on the water surface unmanned or without direct human intervention. Under Line of Sight (LOS) conditions, the range of LoRa-02 to control unmanned is success rate up to a distance of 100 meters and achieved a 100% for data transmission. However, in the Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) test, there was a decrease in the range of only 70 meters due to obstacles such as trees or other objects. The transmitted data comes from the wireless camera in the form of images with timestamp displayed in real-time. The display from the wireless camera is utilized for visual field monitoring and can be monitored remotely.

Abstract

The more rapid the development of the number of ship agency companies in Indonesia, the competition is also getting tighter. Therefore, ship agency companies must have a strategy to win the competition. One of the main factors to win the competition is the calculation of disbursement accounts and ship service levels. In the data taken, there is a relationship between the way disbursement account fees are charged and the level of ship service on the competitiveness of ship agency companies. Therefore, the author took the title "Analysis of How to Charge Disbursement Account Fees and Ship Service Levels on the Competitiveness of Ship Agency Companies". The purpose of writing this thesis is to determine the relationship between the method of charging disbursement account fees and the level of ship service on the competitiveness of ship agency companies. In this research, the author used quantitative methods. Correlation analysis is one of the steps to carry out an analysis of how shipping agency company account disbursement fees are charged and service quality on competitiveness. The results of the research concluded that the method of charging PT Disbursement Account Fees. Adhika Samudera Jaya is included in the very good category based on respondents' answers via questionnaire with an average of 4.70. PT. Service Level. Adhika Samudera Jaya is included in the very good category based on respondents' answers via questionnaire with an average of 4.68. There is a very strong, unidirectional and positive influence on the way disbursement account fees are charged and service levels on competitiveness at PT. Adhika Samudera Jaya with a correlation coefficient value of r = 0.813.

Abstract

Ships as an important means of transportation require the availability of good quality fresh water to meet the daily needs of the crew. Because the quality of fresh water that does not meet the standards can interfere with the activities of the crew. This research aims to build a water treatment system on board controlled by ATMEGA 2560 microcontroller. The system is equipped with turbidity sensor SEN0189, TDS sensor SEN0244, and PH sensor SEN0161 to monitor the freshwater quality. The process of working this tool by treating fresh water which then the parameters are detected by the PH sensor, TDS sensor, and turbidity sensor which then the detection results are displayed on the LCD monitor, and the buzzer and LED turn on when the condition of the fresh water parameters does not meet the standards. The methodology and design of this system will be carried out with experimental research methods where in this method at least one variable is manipulated to study the cause-and-effect relationship. The results of testing water treatment using ATMEGA 2560 show that the system can work optimally in treating fresh water. And the accuracy of the PH sensor, TDS sensor, and turbidity sensor is quite accurate with the difference in error with the comparison measuring instrument less than 5%.

Abstract

Sea water pollution is an increasingly urgent global issue, caused by various factors such as industrial waste, household waste, and ship activities. One of the solutions needed to overcome this pollution is the development of a detection system that is able to monitor polluting substances quickly, accurately, and efficiently. This research aims to design and build a microcontroller-based seawater pollution detection system, which can identify various pollution parameters in real-time. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method to develop a system consisting of several main components, including a pH sensor, turbidity sensor, Arduino Uno, GPS module, Raspberry Pi 4, USB camera, LiPo battery, and step-down converter. Each component is tested individually before being integrated into the overall system. The results of testing in a real environment show that the system is able to detect seawater pollution parameters with high accuracy. However, there are some errors in data collection, especially in the camera sensor with a percentage error of 32%, turbidity sensor 20%, and pH sensor 24%. Further improvements and developments were made based on the evaluation results to enhance system performance. The resulting system is considered accurate, reliable and easy to use, making an important contribution to efforts to protect seawater quality and mitigate the negative impacts of pollution on the environment and human health.
